Either this is AI or the writer doesn’t edit or proofread or pay to have it done. By the 42% mark, the phrase, “blank (item) must have cost more than I make in blank(amount of time) no less than 8 times. It was used to describe suits, evening gowns, apartments, etc. It took me completely out of the story to the extent that I started making tick marks to keep track.

nice book
I enjoyed this book and whilst I had a suspicion, I also suspected other people throughout the book as well.
The ending seemed to happen quite quickly where as the rest of the book was well paced.

Pretty decent read. Loved the suspense, not my favorite but it didn’t make me want to pull my hair out, so that counts for something.
