Nail Biting Suspense and A Woman & Dog Who would Die For Each Other!!
Ahhhh…this is one of my favorite series, and every time I finish a book I let out a sigh with a smile on my face!
I can’t get enough of Haley and her dog Jax! Also her husband and kids. Every book has a mystery to turns into intense suspense and thriller. I wouldn’t really label it a thriller though. It’s more of a Mystery Suspense with an amazing dog, kick-a$$ woman, family and a bit of romance.
It’s funny that even though it gets crazy suspenseful towards the end, I still closed the book with a smile and a sigh. I hope Litz writes more!! I’m always anticipating another book!!
I appreciate how NJ takes the time to develop the characters and to carefully unravel the plot. It did feel like the ending was wrapped up too quickly.
Haley's gift does help to further the tension of the story. Being able to perceive the emotions of those she's with is a life-saving dift.
I loved the immersive feel of the wilderness and the continuous uncertainty that everyone will make it though unscathed. Give it a go. You won't be disappointed.
A book you don't want to put down, it is full of action . Trying to prove himself ,a tough man finds more trouble than ever and needs rescuing. NJ Lots give a picture of Alaska as well . Looking forward to more of this authors books.
This was a page turner! I loved all of the textures of personalities that Litz brought to this book. I also particularly appreciated the ending of the book. It is nice to see characters become vulnerable in the middle of the story.
Each book in this series just gets better. A heroine with sensory issues, a pack of search and rescue and k9 dogs; a family of choice; a handsome caring man. These books have it all
I have read all of NJ Litz stories in this series. I have never been disappointed. Give them a try, but you must read them in order to fully appreciate the characters.
