Her Billionaire Protector is a part of the Halo City Protectors Romance series. Thisbe is at a bar when she smells someone she knows cologne. She gives him appreciative glances, checking out how much he has changed since they met. But she can’t let him get close, secrets are all around the both of them. So, this is my first time reading this series, it kind of ends on a happy for now note, but it’s still worth the read. The storyline is done really well and is more of suspense than romance, which is usually what I read. But I definitely think this is a must read. The characters are written well and likable and keep the story flowing. Grab this and the rest of the Halo City Protectors series and enjoy.

An endless cycle of rescuing, pleasant regrouping, running away into danger mostly, testing readers' patience or just mine.
I like the strengthening of feelings, the outlet of them. Through many wild scenes, one is particularly memorable, but it won't have much influence on their "relationship," probably.
I don't like the protagonists getting hurt, but with so many times exposed to danger, it unfortunately cannot be avoided. Also, I don't like the heroine applying known prejudices to the hero.
They have the same goal and enemy, so when will they join forces? At least there's small progress in this case.

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

They have a past that makes things difficult between them. Thisbe has a price on her had an is slated for death because she is going to roll over on her boss and the only man that can keep her from death's door is Pyramus who works at Halo Protectors. This story is intense and is filled with lots of heated drama that kept me glued to the pages.

Not a HEA

If you are looking for a happy ending, this is not for you. There is a happy for now, but not forever. Maybe in the next book. Mia is an undercover FBI agent posing as a sex worker. Armin is her self imposed bodyguard. She doesn't want the protection and does everything to leave.

I enjoyed reading this billionaire protector book. I liked the character and the storyline. I would have loved a more permanent HEA but maybe in the next book? I kept turning page after page so I could find out what was going to happen next. Worth the time I spent reading this book.
