Guardian's Shadow (Fire and Snow Series #3) is Kit's story and it was fun to see her find her mate. I have found myself invested in each and every relationship in this series but I was invested to see how this tough girl would go and Khloe did a good job.

Kit Jones has kept her past hidden from most and now that past is back to make her face things she does not want to face and that past is involved in the organisation that wants to take out shifters. Not only that, she is faced with a mate that wants nothing to do with her.

Jesse Lutrec has just seen the woman from his dreams and he has no idea who she is. He soon discovers his life is about to change forever and he is suddenly no longer alone with a secret he thought was just him.

Oh that Kit!!

Definitely a good read!! Kit is so independent, strong willed, and super independent. It doesn't even seem like she would need a mate. Jessie seems to be awesome for Kit, just needs to grow up and get over himself and some things. Loved reading this book in this series!! On to the next!!!

Real good story.

Loving this series. There is so much action and adventure in these books. The love story is interlaced with the doubts and fears of the couple.

Guardian's Shadow

Jessie needed to probably get a crash course in finding his mate. He was lucky Kit was really into him to give him a chance. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved Guardian’s Shadow and I know you will too.

Every now and then a series comes along that starts pulling you in from the very first page and you find yourself invested in the storyline and characters as if you were a part of their world. Fire and Snow is one such series for me.

Jesse Lutrec is a rally car driver with a secret and when he reaches his next event Jesse is about to discover things that will change his life forever.

Kit Jones has a past and one she has not even revealed to those closest to her.

When Jesse sees Kit at the rally he is shocked as she is the girl who has been a constant in his dreams but he will be even more surprised when he finds out why. So as Jesse tries to understand more about his leopard and who Kit is to him, he will risk everything in the confusion. Kit will be forced to defend herself and her leap when people try to kidnap her and when she realises who is behind the attack Kit will need to finally tell the ones she loves about her past. Can the leap stop those who want to cause them harm and when the battle is over will there be a future for Jesse and Kit?

While I haven't read the whole series of Fire and Snow I was able to read this quite fine : ) So I'm assuming each book in the series is the same way. I did gather from this book some bits and pieces of the previous books in the series. This story focuses on Kit and Jessie which are well fleshed out characters with some chemistry while Jessie learns more about himself as a leopard.

This was a fantastic PNR mystery novel. Highly recommend to shifter fans and just general PNR it keeps you turning the pages and you won't regret giving this series a chance. I personally will be going backwards to read the rest of it. I will say this is probably one of the most unique PNR's I've read in some time and was refreshing. I love how there's a bit of mystery/drama and not just romance.
