I haven't even finished this book and I can already say that it is fascinating, informative and beautiful with high quality images in black and white and colour. I have learned so much not only about fashion, but different periods of history in general.

An interesting record of the social evolution of fashion as represented by British Vogue from 1916-1975.
Mainly drawings and photos, a sort of yearbook following the styles as influenced by designers, artists, and pop entertainers.
I am a photographer influenced by fashion photography and for my purpose there are other books more useful for me as inspiration.
I will not be keeping this for my reference library.
