ALC Review

While I enjoyed the story and spice, it isn't my totallll fave in the series. WE GET MORE ANGST! WE GET YEARNING. YEARRRNNINNGNG.

I ALSO WANTED MORE SPICE. LIKE COOL COOL COOL, SHE GETS TO BE A VOYEUR AND WATCH LUCAS DO THE DIRTY WITH ANOTHER MAN BUT WHY COULDNT SHE JOINNNNNNN. I wanted some MFM MMF action yoooooooooooooooooooo.. (but also like fair i get it in away where Lucas only wanted her. BUT STILL IM A DEGENERATE GIVE US WHAT WE WANT.)

Can we also talk about how Lucas was willing to drop his life to be with Avril. He is so devoted and sooo damn wholesome!! It should have been meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Her Seductive Second Chance is a spicy novella, and Adele Knight nails it. Second-chance tension, a cocky MMC who knows exactly what buttons to push, and a FMC determined to keep things casual—until feelings and fantasies collide. The bet and voyeuristic elements add a delicious edge, and for such a short listen, it packs serious heat with a sweet, satisfying ending.

Lucas is all swagger and confidence, fully aware of exactly how much he gets under Avril’s skin. The bet sharpens the temptation, the voyeuristic elements turn the heat way up, and somehow this short little story manages to hit hard, fast, and hot, leaving scorch marks behind.

The audiobook takes it to another level. Teddy Hamilton is, as always, fantastic as a narrator. I did find at times that Savannah Peachwood was just too breathy and this was a bit off-putting.

All in all though a solid 4/5 as an audio - one caution - don’t listen on speakers!

The audio gets 5 stars but the story gets more of a 2.5 stars.

If you are interested in more of spice vs having story, then this might be your story. This is about our MFC who is going through being single after a divorce. She is in love with her ex's best friend and one night, they have a spicy night together. This story progresses through their night together where she is living her sexual fantasies with our MMC. Then she realizes that she is in love with him and as she is leaving, he decided to go with her. Then it shoots forward in time where she is pregnant and they have a kid together. That is the story. The rest of it is all spicy scenes.

Again, if you only want more spicy story, then this might be your story. I personally want more story to go with the spice and even with this being short, I didn't find a lot of detail

This audiobook was perfect and exactly what I needed. Avril's fantasy comes to life and gave me life lol. I loved Lucas and Avril together, their short story is full of heat and passion. Getting to live the fantasy of watching Lucas with another man... hot, hot, hot, and could've only been hotter if she had joined in, but I digress. This story is all steam but it is perfect if that's what you are looking for. And of course, I love how it ended, the decision Lucas made was perfect and I loved him even more for it. The narration by Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton was exquisite. Those two together can make magic happen. Definitely a deliciously hot read.

This book is for the girls! The disappointed girls, the yearning girls, for the divorced girls, for the girls who don’t think they’re enough (when they very much are).

I love Adele’s books - they are quick, dirty, and always have a happy ending (in more ways than one ;) ). This is no exception. After a dissolved marriage, and after years of pining for her ex-husband’s best friend, Avril is ready to take a chance and then RUN for the hills. She doesn’t have the confidence she deserves to have and doesn’t think she can be loved and supported the way she deserves.

Her ex-husband’s best friend has other ideas.

A tale of second changes, love, support, and empowerment, this book has it all.

And the tag team of Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood as the dual narrators?!?!?! Dream team. Love them. SO GOOD.

Quick, dirty, and full of empowerment, you don’t want to miss this one!

Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood certainly know how to keep you hooked, and Adele Knight writes the best spicy stories and combined its dynamite!!

Avril and Lucas have a complicated relationship, one built on pining and then a dare.
It just got hotter and hotter as it progressed but the walls that Avril attempted to build were completely crumbled down by Lucas.

A smoking hot, enjoyable listen!!

**ALC review**

First and foremost, Teddy Hamilton... this man could read me the back of a cereal box and I would be hooked giving it a 5 star.

But that was not the main reason for a 5 star. This book was great. Both narrators did an amazing job capturing the characters.

I was looking for something short and spicy, and this hit all those marks.

If you're looking for an easy to listen, short and steamy, forbidden attraction, sexual awakening than this one's for you.

OMG. Her Seductive Second Chance is a short read, but I SWEAR IT’S PURE FIRE. All spice and a plot! The tension, the heat, the chemistry….. Every second is dripping with spice that will leave you weak-kneed and face flushed. Adele Knight somehow crams a whole book into a bite-sized, explosive story. DO NOT MISS THIS.

To make it even better, the narration was perfect. Savannah Peachwood and Teddy Hamilton killed this. They are amazing!

Listening to Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood bring Lucas and Avril to life is spicy by itself. Add in a second chance at romance story just builds on the audio enjoyment. Now that the window of opportunity is open with Avril, Lucas is taking his shot and rises to Avril's challenge which just adds more spice to this quick "listen to"/read!

I do love listening to Teddy Hamilton, and I enjoyed Savannah Peachwood too.
I thought they did a really good job bringing Lucas and Avril to life, and their voices during the spicy scenes, was *chef's kiss.

This was a really enjoyable spicy, second chance story, I just wish it had been longer!

This was exactly what I needed. Fun, quick and dirty. I loved that this was about a devorcd woman taking her wants and needs into her own hands with a man that has pinned for her and appreciates her. I love that we see Avril reclaim her life and put herself first. Lucas was a perfect dirty gentleman down so bad for his ex-best friends ex-wife. He is down so bad for her but he doesn't treat her with kit gloves. I love that due to Avril winning their bet that he gave her her every fantasy with no shame.

The narrators Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood did a great job of bringing this story to life. I love both of their styles and could listen to them all day.
