Perfect and El were just that perfect for each other. Perfect gets out of jail and things didn't go as planned. El was there for him but Perfect felt he needed to be better for her. He left without a trace and didn't come back for 3 years. He comes back to major change. I hate the bickering and It felt like it was headed in that direction. Im just glad it picked up after.

Did Rockel know? That is and would forever be the question of my heart. Why stay?
Okay enough of me being messy because a time was had sexually but... Perfect broke my heart. I understood his reasoning but men and their damn pride. I don't think it would have been that bad if he was honest from the jump but the ghosting...
El, made my boy suffer but that dog in him had even me swooning. He said it was their date. The way I laughed. He had dude scurrying, crying, and pissing on himself. Not at the same time for some things but how you going to be "the man" and you crying and wetting yourself.
Star, she needed to be taught a lesson and not over social media. Girl, you blocked your blessing and played in that man face. Perfect better than me because I would have walked to the gate and asked for re-entry. It was all fun and games until they say the come up. Be careful who you screw over.
All in all this was a good read but some parts will tick you off.

Perfect was ready to be released and start his second chance .rockel was dealing with a client who can't understand no every thing made him think he could have her. That's what worried me .its sad af that men assume women want them when they are just doing their job . What pissed me off her coworkers saw and heard him & did nothing. And of course trip had be a pig and touch her she wasnt with that shit and luckily before things worse (perfect fucking porter) was the man who was protecting her when no one was going help her. She never forgot him she always had a crush on him since high school.
I have bad feeling that star probably cheating on him lets hope I am wrong cause he doesnt deserve be cheated on.i fucking knew it!!! She did him dirty .
Im glad el was there when he needee her especially after finding out jr wasnt his child and she been with someone else this whole time instead of telling him the truth . Some drinks got in them and he has every right enjoy himself and el wanted him too so why not they weren't doing anything wrong.
I love rockel and perfect even with what star did to him he sees well always saw the good in El she never been the type to betray or lead on anyone ,perfect always made her feel safe and the growing feelings you can feel it. And el's papa love him he didnt judge perfect and helped him make a spot so she can have clients simce her boss fired her just cause perfect defended her when no one else would.
I was so sad when perfect felt he needed to leave el so he can be the man el deserved but she never cared about that she just wanted him and be there for him I get what were he coming from I know it going hurt her even if he trying do better so he can come back to her. Especially after taking a pregnancy test and no word from him.
3 years later and perfect was ready get his girl he had know she wasn't going be happy to see after no explanation no text nothing. But she definitely needed to tell him about there child I get why she didnt obviously he wouldn't answer but he there now and deserves to know .
I was honestly everything came out and he didnt blame her cause obviously he couldn't she had no way to reach him and he wanted be the man she deserved she still very much hurt but she would never block him from his child .precious was such a sweet girl and loved her momma. She had her daddy face no denying that.
When he calmed precious down I melted he was already so good with her and I knew el felt the same . They lost time with eachother it was like they never been apart and I love that .

Rating 4.25 ⭐️Always Been Perfect (BLP Breeds Book 11) feels like second chances wrapped in unfinished business and emotions that never really went away.
Rockel and Perfect their story is the definition of right person, wrong timing. The way they reunited wasn’t pretty, wasn’t planned but it felt like it was always meant to circle back. That’s what pulled me in because even after everything, their connection never felt dead just paused.
🫣Perfect I get it. I really do. That man wanted to come back whole, able to provide, able to stand tall next to her without feeling like he was lacking. But baby THREE YEARS of silence!!!!!!! No calls, no updates, just a letter and vibes. Yeah, that was a lot. Good intentions don’t always soften the impact of disappearing like that.
Rockel she did what a lot of people try to do move on, rebuild, convince herself she was healed. When someone has really had your heart like that, it doesn’t take much for those feelings to resurface and start asking questions. Especially when you look in the eyes of a mini version daily.
What I loved most is that this didn’t feel rushed or forced. It felt like two people having to confront the past, their choices and whether love is enough to try again. Second chances sound good until you actually have to live through them.
Emotional, a little frustrating but ultimately rewarding. Sometimes love doesn’t go anywhere it just waits for the right time to come back around.

I'm just gon' get it out the way. I wanted to fight perfect for about 5 minutes because boy what?! How you leave for damn near 3 years and come back like Debo lol
So Rockel and Perfect went to high school together but he was currently serving year 7 of what was supposed to be a 10 year bid.
Rockel worked as a barber in a shop full of men (who were trash by the way). On the day Perfect was released, he walked into the shop for a haircut only to see Rockel being manhandled by some dude. Of course he proceeded to kick his ass. Once their eyes connected and they realized who the other was, he immediately called her by his pet name for her and they reconnected.
Perfect had dreams of returning home to be with his high school sweetheart and their son only for that to come crashing down in the worst way. Rockel took it upon herself to be there for him when he had nothing. She invited him into her home, they grew to love one another, were intimate every chance they got and then he disappeared without warning.
Years later he discovered he not only left his heart behind but something else. Only Rockel wasn't trying to go backwards and had moved on with someone new. Baby, Perfect wasn't having it.
It was giving crazy, stalker type vibes the way he was on her lol And again, I legit wanted to fight him but he was the real deal.
I fully enjoyed this one.

Book 11!!!
Faith J!!! Faith does it every time, she writes a book that I absolutely love and can’t put down, thank God for the cold weather that gave me a longer weekend so I didn’t have to be an adult and read El and Perfect’s story!!
Perfect and El went to high school together, he had a crush on her but though she was out of his league and had a crush on him but he had a girlfriend. Then life happened and they went their separate ways.
Years later they reconnect again when he came in to the barber shop she worked at looking for a cut and ended up saving her from a customer being inappropriate with her and then she took him to go see his girl, where he found out that their relationship was a lie.
El took him in and they fell hard for each other but he didn’t feel he was good enough for her still, so he went away to fight his fears and become the man he felt he needed to be and some time later he came back and fought hard for the woman he loved since high school and the rest was history.
If you love a good second chance at love romance you will absolutely love this book, so go ahead and add this book and series to your TBR, you will not be disappointed!!!

Perfect and Rockel (El) knew each other from high school. While she was crushing on him, he was dating someone else at the time. Fast forward ten years, they come in contact with one another after Perfect is released from prison, and he saves her from a dangerous situation. Perfect receives devastating news, and El ends up taking him in. The passion between them was 🔥🔥, but Perfect decides to leave El anyway. I didn't like the way that he handled that situation, but I understood the rationalization behind his decision. He comes back after three years, and he is determined to get his woman back. I was glad that there wasn't a long time of bickering back and forth between Perfect and El because she knew she was still in love with him even though she was angry about his disappearance. I loved how he spoiled his family and the banter that they had going on. This was a cute second chance book that was really enjoyable because Perfect was the perfect man for El.

Let me first say...Star got me!! That caught me off guard. WOW to do such a thing😕😕...But let's move on. Perfect stood on business when he handled the guy at Rockel's job. He found out!! I loved what Rockel and Perfect was building. Now when he said he was he was coming back...Dang..3 years🧐🧐I understand but I wasn't ready for that one. Nevertheless Rockel kept it moving due to his encouragement. Now Kei seemed nice but no...She could not resist Perfect and he was not stopping. I loved the way he pursued her. I loved the way they spoke to each other. Precious was adorable. The return of Star and his response was perfect. You showed who you were now be. I loved the continuation of family ties. I was hoping his father would show up outside on the patio😊( maybe it was just me). I loved this book. It was Black feel good love story. Sorry it eneded. Loved the names of the twins as well. Rockel held Perfect down
Rockel took Perfect in when he was down on his luck and had nowhere to go. After about a month of being together, he left her a note saying he would be back. It took three years and when Perfect returns, he learns that he has a daughter and that Rockel is trying to move on. At first I was upset with Perfect because he just disappeared with no explanation. While he could have handle his situation better, I understand that he felt unworthy and less than a man because he didn’t have anything to offer Rockel. He was transparent and honest when he came back and Rockel forgave him. With everything they’d been through, I loved that they got the happy ending that they deserved.

The Perfect man for me!
Absolutely loved it!! It was charming, funny, emotional, sweet, but watching him go above and beyond to get what he lost was the cherry on top. Perfect may have had a rough start but his ending was what dreams are made of. A man about his business is everything! He realized the error of his ways and the fears that drove him to do the most hurtful thing. Doing so made him into the man he dreamt of being for the one who loved him at his lowest flaws and all. He was a good man now he has to show and prove while learning communication, honesty, forgiveness, patience, are the best recipe for true love and to get what he left behind…her. 10/10

I was locked in with Perfect and El. They were there for each other without question. I hated they missed time together for him to feel like he needed to be perfect for her, but their reconnection was a never-ending series of smiles and laughter. This man truly loved that woman and constantly showed it. This one was definitely a feel good story in the Breeds Series. Happy Reading Y’all!💋

Perfect is Diabolical
I was so excited to read this book, I knew it was going to be good and Ma Faith didn’t disappoint.
Perfect was just that, Perfect! He was a damn fool and was not playing El. My heart broke for him when he went through that situation with old girl but it was definitely her loss.
El was such a breath of fresh air I loved how she was exactly what Perfect needed and didn’t expect anything in return. I didn’t want this book to end..Ma Faith, you did it again!!!

The way you have someone believing you had their baby is crazy and to do it while that person was in jail is insane. Honestly if she would have told him at the beginning he would have made other plans and probably wouldn't have met Rockel. Even with him leaving i feel like they were just meant to be!! Definitely a nice read

I just love how the author writes her love stories with a little drama and LOTS of love . Perfect was definitely perfect and did not play about his Princess… I did feel said that he was lied to for 7 damn years but ayeee that was El come up !
This man literally waitered on this woman all day everyday and didn’t wanna be anywhere else ! I love there relationship… love, laughs, fun and family ! 10/10 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Enjoyed It!
Overall I enjoyed this story. It was engaging and detailed. even though its short, the author gives you a full story. I will say I didnt know how to feel about the mmc. His reasoning for his actions made little sense and the FMC gave in entirely too easily. Anddd the way he acted towards her ex was uncalled for. This doesnt take away from the quality of the book, i just didnt really like him lol

I loved this book and I was so happy that Perfect came back for his family, even though he was not aware of the additional person added!!!…
You can walk away from someone, and they still hold your heart, not realizing it!!!…

Perfect!!
I really enjoyed this! Porter and Rockel journey was tough, touch n go for a minute! I hadn't thought that 3 yrs would go by from Porter finding himself n making a life for him n Rockel ...but he did return but he had to earn trust from Rockel again...which wasn't too bad😚 Porter was in for the penny in for the pound, once he found out he had a daughter😘 but what Porter went through first when he got out of prison, was heartbreaking😢Rockel saved him😍

They were a fun couple. I enjoyed seeing the way Perfect loved on her and Pea. I was really irritated with the way he ghosted her in the beginning though. Like I understand his thought process behind it, I just think she deserved more than a 3 word note and 3 years of silence. When he returned I wanted Rockel to make him earn her back but sis folded like origami 🤣

Faith is new to me
Man, her splash down was on the spot cool. The metaphorical dog, the breed in this one was classified, I guess. I am by no means complaining. Perfect was an imperfect man who met a jewel and somehow fumbled the ball in the endzone. Lucky for him, the woman he left gave him a second chance. And he used his time wisely.

Another great read in the series. I love how sweet this story is. Perfect wanted to be a man in every sense of the word. Could he have done things differently, yes, but in the end love always wins.
I bet Star wished she would have acted right. Now she had to watch Perfect and El love each other out loud.

Loved It
I enjoyed this book! If you enjoy seeing folks grow in all aspects of their lives and giving second chances, this is definitely a story for you! I really enjoyed Rockel and Perfect story! The family dynamics were unique in itself as well as the friendships.
I hope to see more of Perfect and Rockel.

Perfect was perfect
Listen, i loved Perfect down but he didn’t grovel enough after disappearing for 3 fckin years! Like, good excuse and all but nah…that was wild. I salute him for coming back and doing what he needed to do but damn, it was wayyyy too easy for him. They lil family was cute or whateva.

Story line was good it just seemed a bit rushed . I wish we would have got more information on why the MMC was in prison . We know what the change was but never got details on why led up to it . I also wish we got more of a look of their friendship as kids since it played a big part in the connection that they had from the beginning.

This was a good read I enjoyed the relationship between Perfect & Rockel there was very little drama but a whole lot of love …I understood Perfects reason for leaving but he could have at least texted but then this is a book….live how his father provided for him…with all Tashay did for his father they need a book

sweet one. the Hersheys things is something to bring to the real world. I was like how will perfect find his way back? journey men be making this kind of bank? consider me educated. would have liked to know if he opened his business and see his dad out. it was nice to see insecurity from a man's perspective.

Set Love Free...
This was a good, minimal drama love story. Rockel and Perfect's relationship was based on friendship. They didn't have much drama except for what Perfect caused. But when he got himself together he was focus on getting his family back. I wanted more of their love story. I definitely recommend this book.

Was really good read. Love the storyline perfect was good guy now there are something he could have different but he was the perfect guy for her.10/10 should definitely read!!

Amazing read
This is a new to me author but I will be diving into her work.
I knew from jump Star was trash even before he said it . I hate how he left El. But I love love the way he came back and wasn't playing no games in getting her back but he did ol boy so wrong but he did what he had too. Glad they got what they wanted in the end.
