I def think the Forbidden Pleasures Island series is better, as a overall concept 🤷🏼♀️
However, it seems like we may get an MM book in this one which is good. (Eli & Gunther perhaps? 👀)
But if I have to wait until BOOK 7 (assuming all the siblings get books, in order) for Gray’s book, I’m going to lose my mind 😭😭 especially since we've been getting so many breadcrumbs AND there’s definitely some why choose FFF vibes that seem to be happening with her 👀
Although, maybe they won’t all get books bc I have a hard time seeing Ford as a daddy 🤷🏼♀️

I normally finish Sadie’s books within a week maybe two depending on how busy I am but this book took me 3-4 weeks some days not even reading anything. I felt it really hard to connect to this ongoing series. The plot, spice and romance are a 10 out of ten but it’s all a bit repetitive, and almost slow? She Josie doesn’t really accept her place until nearly the end not giving us enough time to see her as an accepting and happy little.

A totally captivating read, a little discovers her Daddy is still alive and living with the family she believed dead
When Josie had walked into the small sweet store in Forbidden Pines she had seen a bearded man that reminded her of her lost love Bennett Kincaid but when she addressed him in the store he had felt like he was seeing a ghost, he had loved her so much but it had been twenty years since he last saw her.
He knows that he has a lot of explaining to do but it has to be in private and then he has to be sure that Josie will understand there is no leaving then, the Kincaid family had been like her own and she had buried them all after the house fire and she had never gotten over there eir loss.
Bennett now known as Bram and his brothers and one sister who was also her very best friend since they had been children, living next door they had gotten into all kinds of mischief and she had lost a part of her heart when they had all died, then she lost her parents and had been alone and had resorted to writing becoming a very respected author known as Marjorie Kincaid.
Bram had told his brothers and sister that he could not let her go and so he had kidnapped her bringing her to his home where she had met everyone as well as Axels little girl Lanie who had been living with them all his has since, he rescued her in a snow storm.
This is a story that is simply filled with action, laughter and sexy punishments along with a heartfelt run for their lives after they were nearly all murdered by family and they know that even after twenty years any suggestion they are still alive would mean another attempt on their lives by the mob.
I guarantee that you will be captivated by this story from start to finish and that the story will have you totally captivated waiting for future books by this simply wonderful author, her imagination seen to know no ends and I am looking forward to the next book in Forbidden Pleasures mountain.

Josie was just in Colorado for some peace and quiet. She needed to finish her next book. She certainly didn’t expect to see her dead ex, Bennett. But he isn’t Bennett anymore, his name is Bram. The Throne family has been keeping a secret about their past. When the past shows up, what do they do, keep Josephine. But it isn’t going to be that easy. She is going to fight tooth and nail to escape. I have to say when you first learn about their past, it is surprising. Then you have the names: Bram was Bennett; Gray was Gracie; Ford was Fallon; Axel was Adrian; Elias was Everett; Colt was Callum; and Dane was Declan. The names stayed in the same letter but man, I had to track each one. Once all that was ironed out, it was a matter of getting Josie to trust them again. Thank goodness the love between these two never died. It was just heartbreaking that they all had to go through the loss. I do want to know what the deal is with Sheriff Reese Donnelly, Persephone and Gray. Something is there. We just aren’t sure what. And we also have Gunther. He is the hermit on the hill aka the tech guru. I thought is was funny when Elias told Bram he was taking Gunther food. Gray and Josie had to repair the damage of time. Lanie and Josie are brats and always getting into things. The ending leaves us wondering who Colt spied in Vegas. This should be interesting. The story is heartbreaking with loss and then getting a second chance for everyone with Josie. I also wonder with the change, will her books also change.

Oh my goodness what an incredible story I thought the first book was epic but this one beats the race if there was one! I was obsessed from the little teaser this awesome author likes to give out at the end of book your current reading into what comes next. It reminds of what tv shows do to keep you wanting more right away but painful have to wait a while but of course it’s totally worth the wait! This two main characters remind of fire and ice alongside peanut butter and jelly it feels like a guessing game of which version you’re getting. I loved the crazy flame, inner indecision, chemistry , conflict throughout the story! Plus getting more insight into the family themselves there is so much mystery there I really just loved everything about this book and so excited about the next one to come! With each story I get from this talented writer I feel like I’m receiving a present to open alongside getting to know some dark secrets my inner self is curious about trying some day. Get ready for a all nighter of reading with something cold to drink or eat if you’re anything like me that is:)

The second story is the series gets us the history of the Thorne (Kinkaid) family. Josie is in town on a writing retreat when she runs into her lost love. But this wasn't a bad break up, she believe he and his whole family had died. Because of the reason behind their faked death, Bram can't afford to allow Josie to go back to New York and risk her revealing their secret. So a kidnapping it is. Josie may be annoyed, but unfortunately she's also aroused. I mean, this is the man she loved and the opportunity to have him back, even with his controlling bossy ways, is tempting. I love how Josie tries, but really can't deny her responses to Bram and his Daddying. These two had a history, but they also had to relearn each other. Their scenes were spicy AF and I loved the non-con aspects as well. I also loved Josie's renewed relationship with Gray. And speaking of Gray, I loved the newly introduced character Poppy. I can't wait to learn more. Bram and Josie may have had to wait twenty years, but they got their HEA.

When Stella Moore tells you that Sadie is her darker side, believe every word she says. This new series is not for the faint of heart and definitely not for those with trigger issues. There is little to no consent from our FMC (Josie) but that does not stop Bram from taking complete charge of her and claiming her in every manner possible….. and then some! Bram and Josie were an item 20 odd years ago but some nastiness within his mafia family forced him and his siblings to flee for their lives and disappear from everything and everyone they had known, including the love of his life. She was broken hearted. When they accidentally cross paths years later, she is pi**ed and he is shaken. Their rekindled relationship is difficult, harsh, emotional, tender, sweet, punishing, etc. The plot is simple, the delivery is complex and the HEA is in doubt throughout. A gripping story that at times is difficult to read yet often as sexy and exciting as can be. 5 Stars

Bennett Kincaid or as he is now known, Bram Thorne and Josephine Mercer were romantically involved 20 years ago. That is until he supposedly died. Now its twenty years later and Bram sees Josie in the local sweet shop. Now she knows he is alive, their whole set up is in danger and Josie is a casualty of their war. The life as she knew it is over and Josie struggles with the new changes of wearing diapers, spankings and humiliation of a calibre of epic proportions. Until finally she realises that her life is complete with her family around her that she has missed for so long and a happily ever after with her Daddy and uncles and aunty. I hated Bram right along Josie and felt her anger and pain. Thea story flowed well and the characters were strong and endearing.

This is book 2 of the Lumberjacks in this story we learned what happened to cause the family to run from nyc with new identities. For Bram it was leaving behind the love of his life and letting her think they were all dead.. now 20 yrs later Josie comes to town Forbidden Falls, and thinks she see's a ghost in the candy shop she calls Bennett he says its me. Bram as he goes by now goes home tells his brothers and Sister Grey about Josie . without too many spoilers they decide they have to get her to save her life and theirs . she fights her feelings but by the end of this book she knows she is still in love with both Bram who is daddy and his family . This was a good story and cant wait for Book 3

I'm a big fan of Stella Moore/Sadie Minx she never ceases to amaze me with her incredible writing, the way she managed to continue the forbidden island of pleasures in a new world. The Thorne siblings have a 20-year-old history in hiding that is revealed. This is the perfect way to reveal what happened in this book adding a second-chance love story that was 20 years late and much better than expected.
The emotions of everyone in the family not just Bram and Josie, get involved in their relationship. I expect all the siblings will get to meet someone they all love.
Bram and Josie have a deep love filled with spicy times. I'm looking forward to Colt’s story now because so far, I have not read anything by Sadie Minx that I haven't loved.

Entertaining and a bit depraved - in the best way.
There is definite chemistry between Josie and Bram, although I still wanted the path to be a bit smoother - but then, where is the fun in that?
I like that Josie has a successful career which Bram supports and actively takes steps to ensure she can continue to thrive.
I love this very close family dynamic that uses some creative and unusual methods to acquire more family members.
As each new 'bride' arrives, the shenanigans become more evolved, the intricacies of such a large family become more involved and the risk of discovery is more devolved.

In this book, we get the background on the family. Josie is a blast from the past for Bram. She was his love that he had to leave behind when the family faked their deaths in NYC and went into hiding. Now that Josie has seen him, he can't allow her to go back. The family mobilizes, and they kidnap her. Now, Bram needs to get through to Josie that he still loves her and that she will be his babygirl. I do recommend that people read the trigger warnings and take them seriously.
This was a great story, and I'm looking forward to solving the puzzle that is this family. We learn a little more with every book. I'm looking forward to Colt's story.

Second Chance Romance Done Right
This series just keeps getting better. Josie is the perfect mix of sass, stubbornness, and heart, and Bram is exactly the overprotective, nurturing Daddy she needs. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and I loved watching their second-chance romance unfold.
Add in the found family vibes, sleepovers, plenty of emotional moments, and all the sweet and spicy tension, and I was completely hooked. Sadie has a way of creating characters you can’t help but fall in love with, and this book was no exception. Every time I think she can’t top the last one, she proves me wrong. Another fantastic addition to the series.

I loved poor sweet Josie, she is strong and a fighter. Bram is delighted to have her home but he has to prove to her that he will stay. I loved all the real and alive characters and their interactions. There are lots of hot erotic sexy scenes and spankings (some well deserved). I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving an honest review. This is a very well written page-turner from a very talented author. I am looking forward to reading the stories from this fun and mad family.

Bram and his family had to fake their deaths and leave everyone behind when they were kids and that included Josie. She was the love of his life and 20 years later fate steps in and they run into each other at a candy store where the family now lives. It takes patience and alot of healing but they finally get their HEA. I just love the devious mind of Sadie Minx first with the Pleasure Island series and now with this spin off Pleasure Mountain series. I can't wait to see what the next book holds in store for us

I was so excited to read this installment of the Forbidden Pleasures Mountain and I was not disappointed. Sadie Minx does it again with another fantastic read about second changes, secrets revealed, spicy romance, unhinged mountain men who love fiercely (and dubiously as the law doesn't apply to them), sassy heroines who keep them on their toes. This is definitely a dark DD/lg book but it is oh so good.

As much as I loved the book, I do have to admit to a bit of discomfort - it has been 20 years since Bram and his family left Josie behind. He was her first love and, apparently, only love, and his sister Gray her best friend. It was hard to reconcile the relationship of Gray and Josie going from best friend's to Gray being in a position of authority over her - but if the characters don't mind, who am I to criticize? The book is well-written and edited, the story, as always, flows well.

I liked this was an intriguing story and characters. Josie and Bram/Bennett had a very complex history and feelings that were seriously complicated. Although I enjoyed this forbidden, dark and second chance romance my feelings were quite a tangle. A couple of things rubbed me the wrong way and even though I am a huge forbidden and forbidden fan, I was just physical unsettled because of them. Still, a very good read and I thought forward to book three.

Josie and Bram certainly deserved their second chance. I liked that you could feel how difficult it was for Gray, Bram and Josie to have lived with the choice that had to be made. Josie was caught between what she thought her life was and what it could be now. Their HEA was a long time coming.

The dark Daddy's continue in Daddy's Broken Bride. I really enjoyed this one, it has such an interesting twist with Bram and Josie already knowing each other, and we learn more about the whole family's past. Somehow learning about Bran's past made him even hotter!
The book, even with all the amazing taboo spice, is still so emotionally charged. The relationships between all the characters are so good. Especially with Josie having to navigate her new dynamic with Gray.
Sadie is so good at leaving crumbs for every character that I finish each book already feral for the next one!
