A tantalizing story of passions and desires, that brings two very different people together in a way they never thought possible. This is a standalone novel but can and is more complete by reading the series in order starting with Book 1 Rage. But not doing so, will not spoil your enjoyment.
NOTE TO If you love the work of Anna Hackett and Eve Langlais you will love this. This is a sci-fi romance, filled with hot sex, strong dominant men and sexy females who know how to hold their own. It’s gritty, confrontational and steam will be coming out of your ears. If you’re looking for something to get those juices flowing, you just found it. Enjoy!
Written mainly in British English with American slang and language.

CADE. A name he took when free.
A Cyborg living on a human world not that anyone knew that. Not now.
Hundreds of years ago, when Earth Corp didn't make their return to pick him and his men up or bring the last two resupplies to this world, it was logical that they were not coming back and they were then surplus. No more mission. No more security to do. No more anything. They were on their own.
The world established, safe, they had no role to play. And the colonists were wary around them. It wasn't ever going to work with his men staying with the humans. Living amongst them. There was too much history and too much fear on their part. Not that they'd ever done anything to make them fear.
Just being what they were, was enough.
Cyborg. Created by Earth Corp. A commodity. Their eyes and ears on their new world. They had to leave. So they did. Took their provisions and equipment, their off-worlder and went deep into the unknown. They were better off there. Better alone. They didn't need humans. Didn't want to be with them. At the the time an order was an order. They'd been ordered to go so they did. There was no denying orders. No refusal.
Now, he gave the orders. No more programming. No more being ordered what to do. They lived free. Let the world go on without them. Lost to time. Until they had visitors.
Humans. It had been 400 years. The world big enough to get lost in but they'd found them.
"You were not easy to find." The female stated getting out her vehicle to meet him. "And if it wasn't for the odd story and achieve, we'd never have known you were here at all."
"That was the intension."
She nodded. "We need you back."
He smiled. "We no longer take orders female."
"Not an order. A request for unity."
"Why?"
"We're fighting an invasion we cannot win. Men are being killed, women and children taken never seen again. Humans, pirates, stealing and killing. Sooner or later it will come here too. I'm sure you can fend them off but what then? They blast you off here or send enough ships to wipe you out. Dealing with it now is the only option."
"Is it? Send me the data and I will decide."
"Good enough." She turned to the male with her and gave a nod. He lifted a datapad handing it out. Going to him he placed his hand on it and all the intel on it uploaded to his system. "If you choose to work with us, my contact information is in that file. If not, I wish you good luck."
"And to you female." He gave a little bow to her. Old habits coming back. One's he did not want to relive. Buried deep in his data nodes.
She stared at him. "Why do I feel I know you?"
"I do not know." With a nod she climbed back in her vehicle and it moved off.
