Natalieeeeee, girl! I thought I was ready for Julian Stavros, but this man isn’t someone you can prepare for. He WRECKED Natasha and me. 😂🥵

This duet style narration by James Cassidy & Savannah Thomas was INCREDIBLE. Both narrators were new for me but omg I need to go find everything they’ve ever done because I freaking loved this audiobook!

Blood King pulled me in from the first page with its intense atmosphere and emotional depth. The arranged marriage trope is done flawlessly, blending danger with slow-burn chemistry that becomes impossible to resist. I loved how both characters grow—forced together by circumstance yet undeniably drawn to each other. The mafia world feels gritty and authentic, and every chapter builds tension that kept me turning pages late into the night. The writing is beautiful, the pacing perfect, and the romance unforgettable. This book delivers everything I expect from a dark mafia romance. Absolutely a five-star experience.

Julian is sexy as sin. Natasha is one bad*ss MF. Sorry for the language but I am just in awe.
They are a match made in mafia heaven. The instant connection Julian has to Natasha is so swoon worthy. Even if it was a little unconventional since she was engaged to his son via an arranged marriage. 🫣
I must say Elliot, Julian’s son, is a Grade A *sshole, sorry more language but even that’s too nice of a word for him 😂
This story has obvious Mafia vibes with some brutal scenes but it’s what I expected for a Mafia story. It is also so spicy, I loved it! 🥵

There are times when I wanted to cry for and with Natasha and a slight time when Julian was in my bad books (he redeemed himself)

I wasn’t prepared for how completely Blood King would take over my life, but from the very first chapter, I was hooked. The atmosphere is dark, intense, and layered with emotion, pulling you straight into a dangerous world where power, loyalty, and desire collide. Julian and Natasha are absolutely unforgettable. Julian is everything you want in a mafia king—commanding, protective, and utterly devoted in a way that makes your heart race. And Natasha? She is incredible. Watching her evolve from someone controlled by others into a fierce, unshakable force was one of the most satisfying character journeys I’ve read. I finished this ALC in one day. ONE DAY! I hit play thinking it was going to be another book to listen to while I worked and holy moly it consumed my entire day.
The storyline was unbelievable. So good. Age gap romance done so right!! This is my first Natalie Kane book and you can bet it will not be my last.
Julian Stavros is my dream man. He’s powerful, protective, patient, and so down bad for his lady. Not only is this mmc hotttt AF but the fmc is a literal badass. I loved watching Natasha go from a docile puppet to a damn mafia QUEEN. Her character arc is probably one of the best ever written. 💯
The age gap and arranged marriage in this book was done so well. You could feel the yearning and emotional connection between Julian and Natasha from their first unofficial meeting. It was sweet, gentle, patient; but also dark and sexy. I was deeply connected to the characters and their journeys throughout the book. The suspense and plot twists kept me amped the entire way.
Audiobook thoughts —
You do not want to skip on this one. Two of the best narrators of all time worked together on this Duet and it slays!!!
James Cassidy 🙌🏼 His voice is deep, powerful, edgy. I love how he just owns his space and brings his characters to life. He shows so much raw emotion in his voice that you get lost in it. He was the perfect voice for Julian.
Savannah Thomas has such incredible, emotional range and was the perfect Natasha. From small and timid, to strong and powerful — you could feel every emotion in her voice and it made the story that much stronger. I was literally crying at one point in the story because of how emotional Savannah’s voice sounded.

Holy moly… Blood King completely pulled me in from the start and did not let go. I hit play thinking I’d just check it out and suddenly I was fully consumed, needing to know what was coming next every second. And every time I thought I had a handle on it… it hit me again.
Natalie Kane just gets it. Her men are down bad in the most dangerous, obsessive, ride or die way and I eat that up every single time. Julian is no exception. Powerful, patient, protective and unexpectedly gentle until betrayal flips that switch and reminds you exactly who he is. A mafia king through and through.
This world feels gritty and real, layered with tension, loyalty and found family that actually matters. The arranged marriage setup was done so well, especially with the twist of father instead of son stepping in. The age gap, the power dynamic, the emotional pull between Julian and Natasha… it all just worked.
Natasha’s journey was one of my favorite parts. Watching her grow into her strength and truly understand what it means to live and be loved was so enjoyable .
And the audiobook… WOW!
James Cassidy absolutely owns this space. His voice has that deep, dangerous edge that you feel in your bones. The accents, the control, the intensity… and when the spice hits, it is next level. He brings that morally gray energy to life in a way that is impossible to ignore.

I loved Blood King. It was unhinged, over the top and oh so enjoyable. It sucked me in from the very beginning and held me hostage until the end. I couldn't bear to put this book down it was so good. It kept my attention and kept me fully immersed in the story. It was highly entertaining, intense, steamy, a bit gory and just ahhmazing. I loved the relationship dynamics between the main characters, Natasha and Julian as well as their friendships. I loved the way they were with each other. It did a workout on my emotions.
The audiobook was phenomenal. It was brilliantly excecuted by the narrators, James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas. They did an absolutely amazing job bringing this book and characters to life. James Cassidy woo that's man's voice, Lord have mercy it's dark, deep and delicious. I loved listening to him from the different accents, intonations, tones of voice to the different languages. He was a feast to my ears. Every term of endearment he uttered made me a swoony, gooey mess. I loved his performance, Savannah Thomas' too. Her performance was powerful in the way she exuded Natalie's youth, the stages of her growth and emotions throughout the story. It was awesome. I loved the way they played off each other in those teasing, banter filled moments.
This book worked for me on all levels. I very highly recommend it especially to those who love mafia romance.

This book is absolutely amazing. I devoured this audiobook as well as followed along, I was that captured by the story. I am loving this side that we get of an exceptional author. Natalie Kane has brought an arranged marriage in the Kings of Vegas series that will bring you to your knees.
Julian is the one that I knew I would love. He has this way about him that is so cold and demanding. But when it comes to his loved ones, you get a softer side of him. I loved the layers he shown in this story. Natasha is the meek woman that is told who to marry and instead of the one she thought she was going to marry, she marries his father. I really liked her character, and loved the way she grew into her role as the story went.
Natasha and Julian are the couple you didn't see happening, but love them all the same. I felt like she shined a bit of light to his darkness. But he also gave her the strength to be confident in who she is.

Like I want to eat Julian, I.ATE.THIS.BOOK.UP!! It has been alittle while since I have been able to devour a book so quickly, but Julian wrapped his hand around my throat and had me in the most delicious chokehold, I would have done anything for him!!!!

His son is set to marry Natasha but some things rattle up that arrangement and Julian fills in to marry her instead. From the moment Julian set eyes on Natasha, he has been smitten by her beauty and kindness. Natasha however has lived a life of torture and abuse by her parents and is now learning to live her life by being careful of what she does or says. Julian can see this and shows so much affection towards her that he immediately falls for her.
I am very thankful to the author for letting me get an ALC of this book to read along. I don't think I have ever listened to these narrators before and let me say they pulled it out of the water. James Cassidy as Julian.....his voice was perfect for the character. His voice acting was beyond what I could of expected. Savannah Thomas as Natasha, another amazing voice. A second visit to the Kings of Vegas universe, and we centre on Julian and Natasha.
Natasha is the daughter of the head of the bratva, and her arrogant, abusive father has arranged a marriage with the head of the Greek Mafia's son Elliott, but he turns out to be real jerk, and something happens that results in Julian marrying her himself. The relationship leads to a connection that is undeniable, but when they realise that they have feelings for each other, a twist happens that shatters Natasha's world, and she hits rock bottom, but Julian also has to deal with the ramifications of his rush to judgment and may lose his wife.
The emotional journey that the reader goes through while reading this book is immense. the friendship that forms between Natasha and Julian's family was perfect. I also loved the growth that Natasha went through from the shy girl to a strong woman who wasn't afraid to stand up for herself.
The ALC was perfect. James and Savannah were the right choice for this audio. The narration was emotional, and I absolutely loved how Julian and Natasha were portrayed and I absolutely loved the accents of some of the characters.
I love forward to the next book.
Natasha is the daughter of the head of the bratva, and her arrogant, abusive father has arranged a marriage with the head of the Greek Mafia's son Elliott, but he turns out to be real jerk, and something happens that results in Julian marrying her himself. The relationship leads to a connection that is undeniable, but when they realise that they have feelings for each other, a twist happens that shatters Natasha's world, and she hits rock bottom, but Julian also has to deal with the ramifications of his rush to judgment and may lose his wife.

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and loved this story. Natasha was groomed by her family to become the perfect mafia wife, meek, obedient, small. But I love the woman she becomes, strong, assertive, loving. But this progression wouldn't have happened if it wasn't not only for Julian, but also Lulu and Scarlett. These two girls welcomed Natasha into the family, took her under their wing and showed her it is ok to have a backbone. Then we have Julian... what a man!! I love me an MMC that is "soft only for her". He's a take no prisoners kind of mafia boss but he's so tender and loving with her, until he isn't and then he made me mad. I loved Julian, but he should've had to do a lot more groveling than he did, like a looooot more! That being said, I loved how he dealt with his own son, and I loved how he taught him a lesson he'll never forget. The romance was so good, the plot of the story was exactly what I hoped for, and the spice delivered!! The narration by James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas was amazing. They brought this story to life in the most delicious way, and I loved every second of it!

OBSESSED. I think that's the only word I can use to describe how much I loved this one.
Julian is the Greek Mafia boss. He's powerful & dangerous and you definitely don't want to cross him. But when I tell you he is down badddd for Natasha!!! He would literally burn the world down for her and not even bat an eye. That girl has been through some crap so seeing her turn into an absolute mafia QUEEN was amazing!!! After some miscommunication between them, she made him work for it 👏🏻👏🏻. And the spice?? Whew!!! This book was absolutely addicting and I'm dying for book 3!!!!!

Wow! This book! I was pulled in from the first page and could not put this book down! There are so many great tropes here, and the author does them perfectly! An arranged marriage with an age gap is done perfectly, and not in the typical way.
Julian was a man obsessed! He was ruthless and cruel as head of the Greek mafia, but he was a softie for Natasha. My heart broke for Natasha so many times. She has gone through so much, and I loved that Julien just let her be herself and loved her. She showed so much strength regardless of everything she had been through.
Also giving Natasha strength and friendship is Eloise, who was featured in the first book in this series. I loved how we got to see Eloise and Roman, as well as the other Kings of Vegas, while Natasha got to build a family with them.
This book had a lot of feelings in it. It was high stakes, with high emotion. The author wrote two characters that I connected to and was rooting for them, even through my tears.

Oh my word! To say I loved this book is an understatement! I devoured this book! I could not put it down! I loved every second!!
I loved loved loved Natasha and Julian so much! I loved watching Natasha grow into herself. Julian is definitely book boyfriend material!

If you have read any of this authors previous books you know she is amazing at creating all different worlds. This one is no exception. You will feel like you are right there in this story. I felt all the feels with this one! There was never a dull moment that’s for sure!

This series is going to end up being my favorite mafia romance series, i already know it. I literally could not put this book down. I was HOOKED from the very first page. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions. My stomach had butterflies but also dropped and felt sick for the fmc multiple times.
I'm going to start with Natasha because that girl deserves someone to put her first. 🥹🥹 My freaking heart B.R.O.K.E. for her her multiple times through out this book. So many people let her down that were supposed to love her. When she FINALLY starts standing up for herself, I wanted to fist pump the air! lol
Julian. 🧎♀️ Sirrrrr. I am OBSESSED. He would have been my favorite MMC probably ever, if it wasn't for that little *situation* that happened. 🫠 He is ruthless and cold to everyone except the ones he loves and seeing him with Natasha was so cute.

I really tried to milk this book. Unfortunately, I finished it today. What a privilege to be given an ARC of this book, I received it yesterday and almost immediately finished up, but I waited just a little bit longer. To read each word a little bit slower, because it is that good. Not just good, but amazing! I really love the character growth with Natasha. She started as a scared, timid, young woman and turned into a sassy, beautiful queen.
Julian. Oh, Julian. Rome has some serious competition for my heart because Julian was such a surprise! I didn't see him doing half the stuff he did, but when the kings fall, they fall hard!
I absolutely, loved the friendships with Lulu and Scarlett!
I loved this one so much, I know we have a couple of books left, and I am very curious how we are going to end the series, but I know that I will enjoy it! Until next time, Kings!
