I read the first 'Just one thing' by Michael Mosley, who died two years ago this week. Volume 2 is based on that book and on the podcasts. I think the 40 suggested daily habits are great and mostly simple to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and learned a few things while doing so.
