Not sure how long these two were actually step siblings for, it never came up but since Anom is every woman's wet dream with the power, the dominance and wanting to awake a women sexual side and Joan is a perfect good girl with a bad side just waiting to be awaken so these two have never met prior and if they had the little nun would never was forced into a nunnery.

We got get a 4 years into the future for a HEA ending...

2026 is starting off with a bang, and my books have me like OMG. Joan is an innocent woman just trying to break free from the overprotective grip of her mother and the covenant she's been stuck in as a young nun. Her whole life has never been her own,until she gets a shot to leave and live with her stepbrother, Amon, a wealthy businessman. He couldn’t possibly want anything from her. Right?
Wrong for 500, Alex. Turns out, the man she thought was her ticket to freedom wants to possess and control her too. But for the first time, it doesn’t feel like a trap or punishment. With just his words, she finally feels free, like she could soar. This novella gave me the HEA I needed, and watching the characters grow together as the story unfolded was pure magic. I loved it from page one.

This is book three in the author’s In the Family Way series and features an age gap romance between Amon—a CEO and his stepsister—a nun who’s left the convent and moved back home to stay with her mother and new family.

I guess I must be the most vanilla person to exist in this day and age ‘cause I just didn’t care for this one. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the description before requesting it, I just saw “Jenna Rose” and “stepbrother” and requested it (I LOVE stepbrother romances!). I hate to say it but it wasn’t romantic (like AT ALL) and it wasn’t hot either (like I said, vanilla🙄), mostly it just turned me off but readers who enjoy bondage romances will most likely love it. For myself though, 3.75 stars.

The characters drove the storyline and they were very compelling and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was pretty straightforward . World building was solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Stepbrother's Sin by Jenna Rose was a super steamy, forbidden romance. Amon was everything his stepsister Joan wasn't. He was older, ruthless, experienced and very rich. He was also very controlling. Joan is younger and innocent in the ways of the world. She was sent to a convent by her mother to repent for her sins. But one look at Joan and Amon was obsessed. He is determined to teach how to be his good girl and she definitely won't be returning to the convent.

Honestly not great, the heroine is TSTL, the plot is barely there and the ML gave me the ick. I usually love commanding, dominant men but he was just cringe, boring and not hot at all. (too much focus on her virgin innocence and the whole saddle thing.... it's her parents house and it's bolted to the floor... wut). Then there's the inconsistencies in the story throughout and everything felt really surface level. I've read way better, done better.

This is Book 3 In the Family Way Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an age gap, off limits romance between Joan and her stepbrother Amon. These likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. It is a sweet instalove story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, family dynamic, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. Entertaining.

Wow!!

I enjoyed reading this story. At the beginning, I thought this story was going in a different direction, then the closet? This story kept me on my toes, not having a clue what was going to happen next. Loved the twists and turns. Fantastic epilogue!
