About the author

I am a doctor from Kochi. I am a reconstructive microsurgeon and was part of the surgical team that did India's first hands transplant.
My books include 'The stethoscope and the scalpel", 'Blood, sweat and cheers", and 'Health and happiness without bullshit". The first two are anecdotal semi bio graphical stories from the medical world. The third is a book on the science of health and happiness, well- without bullshit.
My artcles have appeared in Sunday edition of The Hindu, Earthen lamp journal etc. I am a regular columnist for the malayalam website- Azhimukham.com. In November 2014, Penguin and Sudha Murthy chose one of my stories in a nation wide contest and it was published in their book- 'Something happened on the way to heaven'.
