If you use the web to reach out beyond the confines of your office, cubicle, or home to connect and collaborate with others doing the same thing, you’re a web worker. In this book you'll learn how to use new web tools, discover sites and services you might want to try, and meet the social web where people are as important as corporations. You’ll learn how people are working in new ways because of the web, and how you can too.
Much less useful than Clay Shirky's Here Comes Everybody, at least to me in my particular age group, I'd recommend it to any late 40s person on up who is being stuff into a career position of overseeing or participating in web communications. Most of it seemed obvious to me, a computer user since my single digit years in the 70s.
I did, however, go mostly cover to cover as it did have a few pages worth of a dogear or a bookmark and was easy and amusing to read.
