Victoria Fé has crafted a story that is both thrilling and chilling. The mix of murder mystery and ghost story unfolds into an intriguing narrative that grips the reader from beginning to end. Each character is distinct and fascinating. Cassy Day is a quirky delight as she wades into a police investigation in ways she should not. Told through police reports, blog entries, and other notes and messages, the book is like a scrapbook of a crime, making me feel like another character in the story, one who somehow came into possession of this evidence. I strongly recommend this for anyone into crime and-or ghost stories. A truly great read.
A great short novel about a teacher trying to help solve the murder of one of her students. Written in an interesting format of blog posts, interviews and journal entries, without any added fluff between to fill pages, and if leaves the ending in a to-be continued state, up to the reader decider what they think happens next. Highly recommend this book!
