Rose out of time

This is a first in at least a year that had me not wanting to put the book down, it was spell binding from the first few pages. Held my attention and didn’t want to sign off last night. As soon as I got home today I finished reading it and can’t wait for next book by Kelly Boggs.
I know I’m not doing this book justice by not saying more good things but truly this book is my favorite out of the Books I’ve read in last 116 weeks or 639 days in a row I’ve read.

What a fantastic novel. With a plot that is a rich tapestry of time travel, literary homage, and emotional growth, A Rose Out of Time blends romance, historical mystery, and metafiction, referencing Jane Austen's works and characters with a delightful new twist. It explores the interplay between past and present, the healing power of love, and the importance of personal agency and belonging. The tone is warm, witty, and introspective, with journal entries providing insight into the characters thoughts. I look forward to the next book!

Excellent Read

I found this book charming, delightful, sophisticated but thoroughly a down-to-earth enjoyable read. I have not read a true romance in years since completing many of Georgette Heyer’s books and I am so happy that this was my re-entry to the genre.

I highly recommend this book, feel it is an amazing work of prose from a new author. I hope she will write many more books as I would be very happy to read them!

Intriguing

What a fun new twist! I greatly enjoyed this vagary. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. I hope we get to see this author's version of Mr. Darcy at some point!

DNF at 6% because it didn’t grab me, and it’s clearly written for Pride and Prejudice fans, of whom I am not.
