Jack Flynn co-writes dark billionaire military romance with Lainey Ray.

Jack is a former military man with a sharp mind, a devilish smirk, and a habit of taking control—in fiction and otherwise. He likes his books like he likes his combat strategies: fast-paced, explosive, and leaving no survivors. When he’s not crafting tactical missions and deadly antiheroes, you can find him reading action thrillers, watching war movies, or engaging in other kinds of action we won’t discuss here.

Jack brings the precision, the danger, and the raw intensity to every Jack & Lainey book. He knows exactly how to build a hero who commands a room, claims a woman, and takes down anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Rumor has it, Jack never loses control … unless Lainey’s involved.

Book 15 turns the heat up on both the romance and the overarching mystery. Project Trueborn finally steps into the spotlight, and the scope of Byron Dane’s legacy becomes jaw‑dropping. Twenty‑one sons? At this point, the man deserves his own Olympic category.

Wyatt’s story is a softer, more emotional entry — a second‑chance romance built on childhood history, loyalty, and that quiet “meant to be” thread that never really snapped. His reunion with Sophie feels organic and sweet, like the universe nudging two people who were always supposed to find their way back.

Meanwhile, the bigger questions keep stacking:

How will the remaining six brothers be brought into the fold

What exactly was Byron involved in

And will Victoria’s schemes leave fallout even after her death

This book balances romance with rising tension, giving us answers while opening even bigger doors. It’s a strong continuation of the Dominion Hall saga, and it sets the stage for some explosive reveals in the books ahead.

BEST SERIES EVER!!

I didn’t know how it would turn out with adding another seven Danes, but it seems the Danes from Texas are going to be just as great as the ones from Montana and South Carolina. Wyatt and Sophie are a beautiful love story of two people who find each other again after 12 years. I can’t express how much I love this series. So well written and a pleasure for the reader to experience. Thank you authors, bravo on another exceptional book. Can’t wait for the next edition.

The Gunner is the first of the Texas Danes to get a story and a great second chance romance. What are the odds that two best friends, Wyatt and Sophie, end up in Charleston at the same time? It's been twelve years. Yes they've both changed but they're both at a crossroads in their lives. Getting reacquainted requires some truth telling on both their parts. But, that doesn't lessen the attraction. The past rises up in a couple of ways that could be game changers but nether of them are going to waste the second chance they've been given.

This! Oh my.

This book had me in tears right away. Then we met Sophie and I cried again! This is about kids who loved, but only how kids can. Its about adult kids who make choices that seem right, but how we learn as "proper adults", that we dont have to stick with the original plan. Life happens and its how you recalibrate that makes a difference.

Sad to say ...

I found this Book no. 15 to be boring, except for the final few chapters when the rest of the Dane brothers showed up. I guess I just was spoiled by the first 14 brothers. I certainly hope this book about the first Texas Dane is just a fluke!

More Dane brothers!

This was one of the best of the stories so far. We get a more slow build up of the relationship. The Danes know what they are doing!
