About the author

Jack Flynn

26 books44 followers
Jack Flynn co-writes dark billionaire military romance with Lainey Ray.

Jack is a former military man with a sharp mind, a devilish smirk, and a habit of taking control—in fiction and otherwise. He likes his books like he likes his combat strategies: fast-paced, explosive, and leaving no survivors. When he’s not crafting tactical missions and deadly antiheroes, you can find him reading action thrillers, watching war movies, or engaging in other kinds of action we won’t discuss here.

Jack brings the precision, the danger, and the raw intensity to every Jack & Lainey book. He knows exactly how to build a hero who commands a room, claims a woman, and takes down anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Rumor has it, Jack never loses control … unless Lainey’s involved.

Every single book in the Dominion Hall series is a winner. The Maverick is no exception Tommy is the third Texas Dane to be brought into the fold. He's charming, witty, has a knowing grin and is deadly as they come. Rebecca is from backwoods Tennessee. She's in Charleston to spread her wings and maybe be discovered as a singer/songwriter. In the meantime, she works every shift possible as a waitress to make ends meet. Karma was definitely in play when she met Tommy. A broken guitar strings brings them together. I mean, who walks around with guitar strings in their pocket? Tommy Dane that's who. The pull is strong between them and he steam? All i can say is grab a fan! Of course there has to be intrigue, drama, danger and suspense as well. The Danes keep pulling threads and come up with FBI involvement and an agent looking to build upon a legacy left by a former mentor; legal or otherwise.

The Enforcer may have kicked off the new arc, but Book 17 is where the emotional depth and humor really hit their stride. Tommy and Rebecca make an irresistible pairing — he’s charming, quick‑witted, and unexpectedly soft, while she brings steadiness, warmth, and a quiet strength that complements him beautifully.

This book had me laughing out loud more than once. Tommy’s Santa Claus line is an instant classic and perfectly captures the playful tone woven throughout the story. But the humor never overshadows the plot. Dominic Craine’s return brings major revelations about his connection to Victoria and the origins of Project Trueblood, adding weight and tension to the unfolding arc.

The balance of romance, mystery, and comedy makes this one of the most enjoyable entries in the Dominion Hall series. It’s sweet, funny, and full of heart — easily one of my favorites so far.

As if there was any other way…the words touched my soul, once again. The characters keep building. The intrigue deepens. The plot lives on. I’m forever hooked on Dominion Hall with its fierce charm. It’s a living breathing experience in the heart of Charleston. I’ll go back and read them all over again because it’s too good not to. Well done!

Love this series!

Really enjoyed this book. The depth of the characters really draws you into the story. I felt the poverty that the characters grew up in.

Best series ever

Each book outdoes the last one. Two of the most talented writers I have found and there is no repetition in the characters or storylines. All books very individual and all mesh supremely in the series. Can’t wait to meet the rest of the Danes and their ladies! Well done Jack and Lainey!
