The story reaches excellent heights even within the broader genre of fantasy, on top of fulfilling the spicy romance of harem literature. The author is ambitious in the topics addressed and a success at it. This is not your average fantasy story that is capable of handling head-on the thematic of first contact and integration of a society with a god-like vastness. Even better, the emotionally satisfying ending of post-victory society management matures the MC and his bonds over the long-run without losing the fun. An excellent finale of a superior trilogy. Well done.
I’ve been reading for almost 50 years. Most of that science fiction and fantasy. Since I retired, it’s been my main go to. I don’t golf. I read. In this particular category, this book is actually unique. It’s not that it doesn’t meet the criteria. It’s that the stories incredibly well told, completely unique, and actually beautiful! I won’t give it away here, you have to read it but trust me it’s worth it. For a guy who’s read thousands upon thousands of books, and liked the ones he’s read at least generally, I don’t read the ones that I don’t like I just put them down and don’t go back, this book… at least this trilogy… was worth reading.
There are many moments in the story i liked it very much (like the Lis, politics and the 5 year time gap etc.) but there are so many moments which i felt like plot convinces (like how easily the MC deals with the politicians, how easily everyone supports him, How easy was it to handle the main baddie too). The amount of suspense and the intrigue the villain had in the second book, the MC defeated him in one chapter. Could have been better considering how good the first 2 books were.
Excellent series and very well written! I have enjoyed your writing and the way the story progressed! Thank you and I look forward to more of your stories!
