What a great psychological thriller!
Black Flowers follows Neil and Hannah.
Neil has just lost his dad, who committed suicide... or did he?
Hannah lost her dad too and is in charge of the investigation into Neil's dad's death.
They separately investigate and are lead down dark twisted paths to get to the truth, much of which includes a best selling novel from the past...The Black Flowers.
Brilliantly done!

The premise was promising, but the execution was way too convoluted for me to enjoy. There were times when I had to go back and re-read sections, which is hardly a good thing for a thriller. Not giving up on the author though, because he does have a unique style of writing that I quite enjoy. It’s just that this one book in particular just didn’t cut it for me.

It was alright but I wouldn’t read it again.
