I love this series. I wish the volumes were longer. I wouldn't mind waiting if I got 400 pages at a time instead of 250

As expected from this series, this volume is absolutely fantastic!

We finally get introduced to Guides and Returnees, and we even get a glimpse of Constellations from beyond Korea. One Constellation that immediately caught my attention, if only by its hilarious name was "A Constellation Who Likes to Gender Swap" 😁

What I love most about Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is how rich it is in both history and mythology. The story seamlessly blends real historical figures from Korea, Japan, and other nations and with mythologies from Greek, Norse, and beyond. As a huge history and mythology nerd, seeing all these elements incorporated into the narrative was such a treat!

I'm so hyped and can't wait for the next volume to be released! 😆

เล่มนี้อ่านไปแล้วก็เริ่มเครียด ชีวิตมันยากเหลือเกิน มีแต่ปัญหาพุ่งเข้าใส่ โชคดีที่ยังมีฉากตลก-ฉากมิตรภาพเล็กๆ น้อยๆ ให้ชุ่มชื่นหัวใจ แถมด้วยฉากเสื้อคู่ (ฮ่า) (ขอเดาว่ากลุ่มดาวผู้พิพากษาเปลวเพลิงดุจปีศาจเป็นนักจิ้นไม่ก็สาววาย แสดงอาการชัดเจนเวลาคิมดกจา-ยูจุงฮยอกอยู่ด้วยกัน 😅) แต่แอบรำคาญความขี้บ่นของฮันซูยองนิดหนึ่ง

ปล.คิมดกจาบอกว่าไม่ค่อยชอบตัวละครพระเอกยูจุงฮยอกเท่าไหร่ แต่เวลามีอะไรก็คิดถึงเขาก่อนคนแรกเลยนะ จะเลือกของรางวัลยังคำนึงถึงว่ายูจุงฮยอกจะเลือกอะไร จะวางแผนอะไรก็นึกถึงใจยูจุงฮยอกอีก ฮิ้วววว

Another good volume with a fun cast. It's neat to reread this and see how much Dokja gets offended at things that he later does to other people and is confused why they're upset about it (e.g., getting offered relatively few coins as an attempt at an apology, when he later offers even less to his comrades to do the same).

I still dislike that Yen Press refuses to use honorifics and insists on westernizing certain Korean terminology unnecessarily. There is no reason for dokkaebi to be called "goblins". They are dokkaebi and should be called such. I don't know if this is just a problem with Yen Press being partially a Japanese company, and that's why they treat their Korean licenses so shoddily, whether it's novels or manhwa, but many English translation publishers still do similar things in 2026. One of the most popular movies of the last few years was about kpop, just like how one of the most popular bands in recent history is a kpop band. I also know some of it is weird priorities in translation departments going back decades. Another frustrating aspect is that, for some reason, the font dokkaebi talk in doesn't get used in the ebooks, so it just looks like normal narration. But the unfortunate truth is this is the only official English translation there is, so they control the market.

Overall, I still enjoy the book. It reads well, and this part of the story is good. This novel in particular has some great bonding between Dokja and Suyeong, and Dokja and Junghyeok. It's great.

This series is sucking me in more and more. The cliffhangers are killing me though, now I have to wait until November to see if Dokja can prevent the inevitable. 😭

(Or read the web novel, but I want to wait and read the light novels first like I did with Solo Leveling, in case one of them is super disappointing...like the Solo Leveling light novels turned out to be unlike the web novel.)

Getting the main character to tutor you is wild work. Also the development with the goblins and the constellations is starting to get interesting. Can't wait to see what's up next!

สนุกเหมือนเดิม อ่านแล้วลุ้นว่าจะเกิดอะไรต่อ ส่วนตัวชอบช่วงท้ายเล่ม เป็นช่วงที่ลุ้นว่าตัวละครจะทำอะไรต่อนะ เพราะพระเอกเป็นคนเก่งและมีเหลี่ยมเยอะ แต่ขอหัก 1 ดาวเพราะเล่มนี้ไม่มีจองฮีวอน กับอีจีฮเยเลย อยากให้มีตัวละครนี้อยู่พอหายไปแล้วรู้สึกขาด คิดถึงตอนอยู่กับเพื่อนเก่า

สนุกมาก ได้เห็นความทริคกี้ในเรื่อง สนุกอะ จับทางได้ยากกว่าที่คิดและองค์ประกอบหลาย ๆ ส่วนมันเติมเต็มเนื้อเรื่องได้มากขึ้นมาก แถมองค์ประกอบที่มันมากกว่าในนิยายนี่แหละคือความคาดเดาไม่ได้
