I received this book from the publisher on Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

OH MY GOSH. This was even spicier and better than I had hoped! swoons I was already hoping this was a good one, but WOW! I definitely need more!

💖 Hot firefighter dude! I just love a story that features fire fighters and Taeyang is a fantastic one. Working hard. Training harder. Doing his best to save people when they are in trouble.
💖 Hot sex scenes that are featured throughout the manwha. I didn’t expect to see so much given they there were just reconnecting, but I guess they had a lot of things to catch up with, teehee. They had such spicy chemistry and I love how it never felt awkward between them + that each of them could take the lead, unlike so many other yaoi in which you have a clear bottom/top. I have to say though the sound effects and the light saber dicks were a bit distracting from things and the scenes could really be better if it is just focussed on the sex and not the slurps, thumps and whatever else happened that was put as sound effect around it.
💖 A cute kid (though yes, I thought it was awkward he had the same name as our firefighter MC) who really loves his dad (that exam was so cute) and who deserves the world. I loved how he was trying to help out our MC to be with his dad. And how he was very clear with how he felt about Taeyang, which just made me melt when he said certain things. This kid is too precious!
💖 Second chances romance are always my favourite. I loved seeing the two go on dates, talk, go through some drama, have sex, talk some more, get closer. At times I did want to shake them a bit because some drama happened which was mostly Jiwan’s fault because Taeyang was dedicated to make the most of this second chance and get back with Jiwan.
💖 The dates. But also what the dates meant. 7 dates for each year that Jiwan’s kid is alive. And on Sunday because then both guys are free. I also loved that Taeyang set clear rules for these dates. He wants Jiwan to give him an honest chance and he clearly states that if, during any of the dates or between those dates, Jiwan isn’t feeling it, to let Taeyang know. And that after that 7 dates it really is not clicking that Taeyang will truly give up on Jiwan. Though given the dates and what happens between I think things should go well, unless there is some dumb drama going to happen but at that point I will flip my laptop or phone depending on which device I am currently reading this one. XD
💖 The art was really fun and I love the style. I love the character designs, the food looked so good I wanted to eat it, the backgrounds were fun.
💖 On that note, I loved how the manwha started, that was such a kick-ass way to introduce our hot fire fighter!
💖 Getting some information for how long Taeyang and Jiwan have been together. Sure, it felt a bit odd (we see them meet up when Taeyang is in 3rd grade and Jiwan in 9th), and I wonder when the spark truly came to be, hopefully when Taeyang was at age. But I do like that these two have a history and know things about each other that most people don’t know.

All in all, I want more of this hot, spicy, sweet, sexy manwha. And I would recommend it to all wanting a fab BL manwha full of heart and sexiness.

Absolutely adored this one and I’m excited to see where it goes! I love a good second chance romance, and I’m so curious as to what happened in Taeyang and Jiwan’s past—we saw snippets, but there’s clearly a lot more to the story. I love how their dynamics are adorable with how they tease and joke around with each other, while also being full of tension since they have some seriously spicy chemistry going on. Jiwan’s son is sooooo sweet and I love their little family, and can’t wait to see how Taeyang fits in. 😉

This started out on a fairly good note, with funny and sweet moments, but it started to lose me about halfway through.

When I preordered, I had some hesitations over the setup, and I had to check several times whether this was omegaverse, because it really sounded like it could've been.

Taeyang and Jiwan were in a relationship 8 years ago, but Jiwan ghosted him, blocked his number, and apparently accused him of being a stalker and shooed him out of his workplace. So Taeyang has spent 8 years upset over a breakup that never had any sort of resolution. He's also been unable to sleep with anyone since then, because he's so hung up over the trauma of this failed relationship - his first love since childhood.

As a 28 year old fireman, he becomes an online sensation after saving a child from a burning building, and accepts a request from a large news station to do a series of features on him and his fire station. Taeyang hates the camera and the spotlight but agrees because he knows Jiwan works there as a producer, and this will finally force Jiwan to speak to him again.

This led to the funniest moment in the manhwa, with Jiwan showing up in full dinosaur costume in the conference room in a failed attempt to keep Taeyang from recognizing him. During this messy reunion, Jiwan gets a phone call from his son...who is 7 years old, which means the pregnancy would've happened right around the point of their breakup. (You see why this sounds like it would've been a very easy storyline for omegaverse.)

Honestly, I still have no idea where the child - also named Taeyang - came from. There's a flashback scene of the mother handing the child over to Jiwan at the airport, and then flying off somewhere with her wife. There's the implication that both she and Jiwan were queer but still slept together...were maybe in a relationship or it was just a one-time attempt with insufficient protection?

And then when she had the baby she just abandoned it to get married and move away? Deeply confusing. So I don't know if Jiwan was cheating on her or on Taeyang, or why he would've been sleeping with a woman to begin with, since as Taeyang points out, he's been openly gay since he was young.

The reason for the Taeyang and Jiwan breakup also isn't explained, although there are some attempts to show Jiwan's horrible family life and the trauma their homophobia inflicted on him. The general idea, I think, is that Jiwan has only ever done casual flings and one night stands because he's afraid of the heartbreak that would come from attempting an actual relationship and eventually being rejected/abandoned, because he's internalized his family's message that he can never find lasting happiness as he is.

Which is all interesting stuff to unpack but it's handled very sloppily in the narrative.

It's also unclear whether Taeyang and Jiwan were ever actually IN a relationship. Taeyang treats it like they were, but from other context it seems more likely that they slept together once - probably after Taeyang pressured Jiwan into it - and Jiwan then panicked and ran, going to the extremes of cutting off all contact because Taeyang wouldn't leave him alone otherwise.

And yeah, there is a certain element of Taeyang's obsession with Jiwan that feels stalkerish to me. He uses Jiwan's job to force him to "make up for the 7 lost years" by going on 7 dates with him - the Seven Sundays of the title. But again...were they even in a relationship? Does Jiwan owe him anything? And Taeyang keeps cramming himself into family events and manipulating his way into staying the night and then having sex with Jiwan again.

That part caught me by surprise, although I suppose it shouldn't have. I thought it was going to be more of a slow burn reunion romance, with them getting to know each other at this later stage in their lives, especially now that Jiwan is a dad who prioritizes his child over relationships with other men.

Including a third guy, Seo, who is by FAR the most attractive character, even though the narrative keeps saying that Taeyang is super attractive. (The art in general isn't that great, so to me he just looks extremely average at best.)

Seo has been filling in as a babysitter for Jiwan's kid for what seems like a fairly long time, and initially it seems like he might just be a really close friend who probably has a crush on Jiwan. But then, to make way for the Taeyang romance, we find out that Seo is actually a big creep who hates kids, resents having to spend time with Taeyang Junior, and is pretty fed up over Jiwan ignoring the fact that he wants to sleep with him.

When Jiwan finally sits him down near the end of this volume to talk about that aspect of their relationship and what Seo wants from him, Taeyang barges in and gets upset that Jiwan is speaking to someone else.

Their relationship is honestly pretty weird and I'm not finding it romantic.

Plus there's an age gap element to it that just isn't presented very well. I'm a fan of a decent age gap; 28 and 34 is fine, and even Taeyang having a crush on his neighbor when they were younger can be cute. They grew up, the relationship changed, then it got complicated and they're two adults navigating their feelings for each other.

Except Jiwan keeps giving off the absolute weirdest, most confusing signals. First he refuses to go on dates with Taeyang, then on their first date, he keeps referring to Taeyang as a child and making weird comments about how much he's grown but how young he still seems - keep in mind they last slept together when Jiwan was 20, so it's not like he would've changed that much since they'd last met.

Jiwan also keeps prodding Taeyang - in public places, like a restaurant - to hit on him more, even though he says he doesn't want anything else and definitely doesn't want Taeyang to sleep over or to keep pursuing him. I guess it's no wonder Taeyang is confused by his mixed signals, because so am I??

Worse for me, though, and the part that really made me grimace and start losing interest, was when Regular Taeyang started referring to Taeyang Junior while he was having sex with Jiwan. This line was completely unnecessary: "Did Taeyang bite and suck these nipples too?" Maybe that's just a dirty talk thing that I am not into, but I literally made a horrified face while reading. And honestly, the sex scenes were just...not great in general.

I guess this is another case where I should've listened to my hesitations when I was thinking about canceling the preorder, but it seemed like it could've been a nice story about reunions and healing from trauma and building a family.

It had a few decent elements along those lines - I really liked Taeyang Junior getting in a fight at school because he was standing up for his gay dad, and he and Regular Taeyang were cute together. But mostly this was just a messy, disappointing story.

I kept thinking of
Seven Days: Monday–Sunday
while reading. It doesn't have the single dad element, but some of the other themes are there - one character with heavy trauma to unpack, and a relationship that builds out of a set amount of time they've promised to spend together, to see if a romance can develop. I'd rather just reread that one and skip the rest of this.

So, okay. I am usually pretty lenient with my romances. I was okay with the age difference until I got to the flashback and found out that they met when one was in THIRD GRADE and the other in NINTH GRADE? What the hell?! Absolutely not. This is just creepy. This one is just not for me. I am not going to finish this. The art was nice, I guess. But unfortunately, the whole age gap ruined it for me. Especially because you could have still had the gap but had them meet when they were BOTH ADULTS.

Thank you to IZE Press and Netgalley for the DRC.

Too much spice… I didn’t really like the storyline. They talk too little and fuck too much. The kid is cute though.

I’m not sure yet if I’m going to continue it, I’m not really invested in what’s going on but then again…this is a short series…

The art was nice though.

cute! gorgeous full colour spreads and i love me a gay firefighter.

but like. this is very sexually explicit, except for the dicks which are whited out. maybe its a cultural thing that i dont fully understand but ... that's not really censoring anything? it just makes me think these guys have weird Non-Entity Cocks or smth. idk. enjoyable nonetheless!

After a daring rescue televised nationwide goes viral, firefighter Taeyang becomes an online sensation and gets roped into doing a documentary featuring his fire station. Taeyang hates the spotlight, but when he realizes the producer hired for the project is Jiwan—his first love and the man who broke his heart—he agrees to participate! But only if Jiwan grants him seven Sundays (the title!) to go out on dates and attempt to rekindle their romance.

Don’t be deceived by the cute cover! Seven Sundays is a very spicy, adult BL romance that shows a mature relationship between queer men and all the struggles that come with being together and being accepted in society.

Taeyang and Jiwan have a grumpy younger top/sweet older bottom dynamic with a lot of push and pull that while nice, because they actually communicate and apologize when needed, might get tiresome if it continues at the same rate in the next volumes. Jiwan is also a single father to a cute toddler named Taeyang (yes, same as adult Taeyang), and it’s endearing how adult Taeyang quickly bonds with the kid. Since this is only volume 1, the romance itself doesn’t develop that deeply until right at the end when they have a breakthrough moment. We also don’t get answers to what happened to little Taeyan’s mother, or the specific reason Jiwan broke it off with Taeyang.

A couple of iffy story details, that while unfortunately normalized in BLs, I still like to call out. First, age gap is not an issue when they’re grownups, but when it’s shown while younger it meant 3rd grader hanging with a 9th grader (big nope). Second, mentioning the toddler in relation to nip sucking while in the middle of sex (ew).

Overall, I’m not sure the story (so far) or the art (didn’t wow me in any page) are enough to get me to buy the next volume.

Many thanks to Ize Press and NetGalley for this ARC!

Seven Sundays Volume 1 should have been a cute, fun, and romantic read, but unfortunately this title stumbles with pacing issues, artificial drama, and vague explanations.

I was drawn to this series by the idea of a second chance romance combined with a single parent trope. Unfortunately after a really interesting opening, things quickly went off the rails with severe pacing issues. When Taeyang and Jiwan meet for the first time after eight years, Jiwan tries to hide his identity in a dinosaur costume, which was a bit of fun but then the story rushed to introduce Jiwan’s son and also the seven dates they will be going on to make up for the use of Taeyang’s name which is Jiwan’s son’s name.

When we are introduced to these characters there is heavily implied history. There are some brief flashbacks, but I feel as though a clearer backstory showing Taeyang and Jiwan’s friendship and how it developed into more would have deepened their connection.

The part that was very confusing for me to follow was the origin of Jiwan’s son. We are treated to a single flashback that gives very vague and very strange implications. As this is just the first volume of this series, perhaps these circumstances are explained more thoroughly later in the story.

Kid!Taeyang is pretty adorable and funny without becoming problematic or distracting to the overall story. Seeing both the Taeyangs hang out and play was one of the most enjoyable parts of this story.

Taeyang is sympathetic to the fact that he’s been carrying a torch for Jiwan and has never been in a relationship since. I wanted to see more of Taeyang’s firefighting responsibilities but that was glossed over pretty quickly after the beginning of the story.

Jiwan, however, doesn't have many likeable traits. He seems to be a bit of a jerk with Taeyang and is stringing him along a bit, going from hot and cold with him depending on the time of day. We’re given another short flashback into Jiwan’s back story to make us sympathetic to him, but it just makes the reader wonder why Jiwan is being a jerk to Taeyang who is only trying to be with him.

Since this is a manhwa, this volume is fully colored inside. The art style is nice and it has its share of very cute moments where that full color really helps bring out the emotions in each character. I thought the cover was very eye-catching.

Despite the cutesy cover, this is an adult BL manhwa and there are several explicit scenes depicted within its pages. This story does have a younger top dynamic so if you are not into that, be warned. There is another man in this story, the baby sitter for kid!Taeyang, who wants to sleep with Jiwan. That bit of the story is very awkward at times and feels forced to have some extra padded drama. There are also times where the age gap is used to compare both Taeyang and kid!Taeyang during sexual scenes that might be uncomfortable to read.

Overall this manhwa has a lot of good tropes and story beats but fails to execute on them in meaningful ways. There are some fun laughs and the art style is nice, but if you are looking for a more cohesive story, Seven Sundays Volume 1 missed the mark.

Eight years ago Taeyang's first love, Jiwan, ghosted him. No phone call, no text, no warning nothing, they went from lovers to friends in an instant. Thanks to Taeyang's bravery as a firefighter though the TV station that Jiwan just happens to work at wants to do a documentary on him. Seeing his opportunity Taeyang shoots his shot, knowing that the studio has a lot riding on this documentary; he will only agree to the documentary if Jiwan goes on seven dates with him. Jiwan has no choice but to accept, however, he has secrets of his own.

I normally do not comment on the spicy level in a book I am reading, but I am going to w/ this one because it was absolutely off the charts! So if you are looking for a spicy BL read, that is absolutely adorable this is the book you've been looking for!

Taeyang is a wonderful MC, he is absolutely dedicated Jiwan and has been for years and that loyalty is absolutely adorable! Even the reason he became a fire fighter revolves around Jiwan! Honestly, though this could have ended up coming across as obsessive, but it never crosses that line. I think the reason for it is there's almost a decade between the last time Taeyang and Jiwan saw each other, so he clearly let it go. So instead of a character who could have come across as creepy and stalkerish you've got an adorable guy hoping for one last chance with the man he loves. I tell you what though when Jiwan drops the bombshell that he has a kid (yuppers he's a dad) that adorableness factor goes through the roof!

Jiwan is great as well; he is clearly a loving and dedicated father who puts his son first in all things. Maybe a little bit too much though. He's essentially written off having his own life since he had his son and as a parent I can say with certainty that only leads to depression. However, he's got some pretty darn good reasons for his dedication and we find that out when we find out more of Jiwan's backstory. It is ridiculously sad and infuriating. He also has trusted this other guy who will not be name because I don't like him with his kiddo and like that is the one area where I can say that Jiwan messed up. The man's a creep and has the classic "get to the parent through the child" thing going on. I really can't wait to see him fully kicked to the curb.

Like I said this is super spicy and it's a manwha so very graphic images so just a final heads up there. But I really adored this one and most definitely will be continuing this series!

As always to Yen Press and NetGalley for the eArc!

This was FANTASTIC!!! I had a great time reading it, and I can't wait for volume 2 to release 🤩

First of all, I'm here for how committed my babygirl (Taeyang) is to making Jiwan fall in love with him and get in a committed relationship with him 😌 He cares about Jiwan and wants to be a permanent fixture in his life. Once he got over the initial shock of learning Jiwan has a kid, he also was more than happy to accept him as part of the future life he wants to build with Jiwan. He sees how much Jiwan's son loves him, and Taeyang's affection easily extends to him. The few moments we had here of pure domesticity warmed my heart 😭

There were a couple of annoying things in the story which were why I couldn't give this a straightforward 5🌟

First of all, I'm not a huge fan of the whole childhood crush thing. It always feels weird to me to see the younger character have a blatant crush on the older one when they're a child. It just always gives me a mild ick even when nothing untoward happened during this time. Second of all, we also have a dumb "love triangle." It's a stretch to call it that... It's really a pain in my ass. Namhun is there to add the kind of conflict I despise. Jiwan clearly doesn't like him, but he still entertains him despite him being such a terrible match. How are you going to look at lil Han and not be charmed by his cuteness? It's absurd to go after a man who has a child when you're not really interested in helping raise one and only see the child as an annoyance 🤦🏻‍♀️ Go away, Namhun!

Still. Overall, I definitely really enjoyed the story! I'm rooting for Taeyang to win Jiwan over and become a member of his family. Jiwan has a lot of trauma he has to work through, however, so I anticipate this will be a challenge. With Han's help and acceptance, I'm sure eventually Taeyang will succeed 😌

Thank you so much to Ize Press for sending me a physical copy of this for review!

I wanted to give Seven Sundays a higher rating, but was surprised to find an age gap to be a bigger part of the plot than what the description indicated. As adults, Taeyang and Jiwan having an age gap isn't really a big deal, but what gave me the ick is that Taeyang first met Jiwan when he was a child, and Jiwan was a teen. They bring up the past a lot to one another in terms of Jiwan telling Taeyang he's "grown up well" and Taeyang feeling like he's being treated like a child. Had they been closer in age, or if the child/teen plot point was removed this would've worked fine and there could have been some interesting aspects of Jiwan being a father and Taeyang navigating that while being younger/new to parenthood.

All that aside, there are some very sweet moments of Jiwan's son and Taeyang being pals, and he is clearly great step-dad material. If Jiwan can get his act together and stop bringing up age, I would ship it! There are some intriguing plot aspects indicating that both men have had some rough experiences in that past that are still influencing them, and I'd be curious to see how those get worked through. The art is great too, in full color with clean linework and attention to detail. I think the style is a really pleasing mix of manga aspects and more realistic depictions of settings. Charyeok's ability to draw difficult anatomy is impressive, particularly during more...intimate scenes. Very steamy, and not shy about it!

I will likely give the second volume a go, but if the age thing is still such a prominent aspect I think I will probably lose interest.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Yen Press for the digital ARC!

Thank you Charyeok, Ize Press, and NetGalley for this ARC!

I enjoyed the clever plotting and insta-love, it is refreshing to see in volume series that usually are really slow to progress

Taeyang Kang is a real firefighter hero! He saved a kid during a dangerous fire and now his department wants to put him in front of the cameras for a documentary, at first he is hesitant vut then agrees in order to get the attention of a past lover. Upon meeting the producer for the documentary who is oddly dressed in a dinosaur costume, he quickly identifies the man was his ex- lover from 8 years and the person’s attention he was hoping to get.

As they work together, Taeyoung meets Jiwan’s son who ironically has the same name as him. He propositions Jiwan claiming he wants to be compensated for his name being stolen, his payment 7 dates together.

Taeyoung quickly worms his way into Jiwan’s life and personal space, getting very close to little Taeyoung.

Strengths: Blackmail is the best when done with romantic intentions. I did not expect smut scenes 6 pages into this but I am here for it! The smut throughout was so good, very much enjoyed when Jiwan rode Taeyoung to focus on getting himself off only.

“...I'D BE A FOOL NOT TO DEVOUR YOU AFTER ALL IT TOOK FOR ME TO GET YOU UNDERNEATH ME AGAIN.”

Weakness: This is purely a personal preference, but I really struggled with Jiwan naming his son after his former lover. Especially since he frequently compared his son to Taeyoung at the same ages and reflected on how ex-lover Taeyoung had changed so much since they first met. Of course he did! Taeyoung was in 3rd grade while Jiwan was in 9th grade when their friendship began, but Jiwan would also recollect Taeyoung as a kid and saying he hasn’t changed. There was also one line of dialogue during an intimate moment where Taeyoung teasingly asked Jiwan if his son also sucked on his nipples, it was especially jarring and pulled me out of the momen

Unfortunatley, this manhwa was not for me. I thought the relationship between Taeyang (the MC) and the ML's son was adorable. It was definitely the highlight of the manhwa, but unfortunately the relationship between the two of them fell a bit flat. There is a lot of OW/OM drama with the ML that I didn't particularly care for. Jiwan (the ML) was also needlessly cruel to Taeyang; I know it was a coping mechanism, but it still wasn't the most pleasant to read. It makes you wonder why Taeyang is so persistent. There is also the fact that these two characters meet when one is in third grade and the other in ninth... Their relationship seemed close and brotherly from the glimpses we saw, which was... uncomfortable (at least for me) to read about.

Overall, this just wasn't my cup of tea. I thought the art was really lovely though! Thank you, NetGalley and Yen Press for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

OM/OW: When they broke up, Jiwan had a child with a woman; the kid is as old as their breakup, so... I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but there is confirmation in this first volume that he had physical relations with a woman. While there's no confirmation on the timeline, I am still icked out. Jiwan also has a male nanny for his son who is into him, and Jiwan propositioned him; the only reason nothing happened was that Taeyang came and physically intervened. What's worse is that it's implied that Taeyang was celibate during their breakup... he deserves someone better.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for access to the e-ARC for review.

I really enjoyed this story. The characters were interesting and fun with personalities that I could relate to. I really liked the inclusion of the son. He’s really adorable and a great addition to the plot. The plot moves forward quickly and doesn’t leave time to be bored, so I read this fairly quickly.

The art is really fun and keeps me interested visually.

I do have to mention the age gap in the scenes when they were younger was a little uncomfortable for me. I know nothing really happened during that time but I just don’t get how someone in 9th grade would hang out with a child in 4th grade. That just seemed off to me. I also didn’t like the mention of the age gap a lot. Like “you grew up well” was said a lot and I wasn’t a huge fan of that. While this wasn’t something I enjoyed, it definitely didn’t ruin the story for me.

There is quite a bit of spice but I think it adds to the story in a way that makes sense for the plot.

I will continue to seek out this story as new volumes release.

Taeyang is a handsome firefighter who is roped into starring in a documentary about his work. The producer turns out to be Jiwan whom he’s known since childhood. They’ve had a one-night stand eight years ago, after which Jiwan ghosted him. It’s left Taeyang emotionally scarred, so he seizes the opportunity to reunite and rekindle their relationship.

Things don’t go as Taeyang hopes from the start. For one, Jiwan has a kid who needs attention, though he seems to be on Taeyang’s side. There’s also another suitor who is annoying. Jiwan tends to treat Taeyang like a kid for being six years younger. And worse, Jiwan has bad traumas which cause him to sabotage his happiness and push Taeyang away.

This was a good start to what will apparently be a two volume story. Taeyang was nice and long-suffering. Jiwan was annoying, but learning about his backstory helped a little. There was a lot of smut for one volume. Art was good and full colour. I would read more.

Ready for volume 2 already!?!

First off, I want to mention the second half of this gets SPICY (there are some flashbacks in the first half but second half is more). Also, they knew each other from when they were younger which we get flashbacks of some moments so there is an age gap.

I love the interactions between Taeyang and Jiwan's son (who is also called Taeyang). Lil Taeyang testing Taeyang in order to determine if he approves he can date his date was adorable and him basically being his wigman. Plus how Jiwan meets him after 8 years in a dinosaur costume had me laughing.
Taeyang does put some thoughts into the dates (Jiwan agreed to seven).

I am wondering the story with Jiwan and his son's mother because it seems there is a story there. We'll see how much he tries to deny his feelings and push Taeyang away.

Taeyang: golden retriever and never able to get over his first love
Jiwan: has some issues to workout with allowing someone to get close

-spicy, BL
-age gap
-older uke(34), younger seme (28)

After being completely ghosted by his childhood crush and first love, Taeyang has a chance meeting with him 8 years later. Now a television producer, Jiwan is a single father to a 7 year old boy named… Taeyang. It seems like he wasn’t the only one that hadn’t forgotten their love.

Forced to work together on a show featuring his life as a firefighter, Taeyang makes his long lost lover offer him 7 dates to rekindle their love. If nothing happens in that time, he wants him to walk away and never speak to him again.

This was spicy!!! I love a single dad, especially when the dad is hot. There is also a significant age gap between the two main characters, which I believe is around 8 years. So two tropes I go absolutely feral for in one book. Bring in an adorable firefighter that is madly in love with his daddy of an ex and this has a LOT of pining.

I can’t wait for the next book!!!!

Thank you to Ize Press and NetGalley for my gifted eARC of the book.

First I would like to thank NetGalley, the Author and Artist and the Publisher for this ARC.

This was fun!
It's steamy, a pity that it's "blurred", but not to much. You can perfectly read and enjoy the scenes without wondering what/how/who or having any questions.

Taeyang is a fantastic Firefighter, working hard. Training harder. Doing his best to save people when they are in trouble. He is kind, loyal, patient, respectful and way to forgiving.
Jiwan on the other hand, is kind of a dick. He ghosted him, blocked his number, and apparently accused him of being a stalker and shooed him out of his workplace. Then he didn't talk to Taeyang for 8 years and even now he is pushing him away half of the time..
But they have such spicy chemistry and I love how it never felt awkward between them and that each of them could take the lead.
And the kid is cute.

I liked this one and I'm looking forward to the next volume.

I am so happy with this story, more mature and about accepting that you deserve love. Taeyang and Jiwan start something and are each others first love but then Jiwan ghosts Yaeyang for eight years. They finally cross paths again and Jiwan has a son, a 7 year old cutie that it's also name Taeyang lol. We find out that Taeyang never forgot about Jiwan and still loves him so he gets in his head that he will woo the man again, but Jiwan is reluctant - there are reasons for it and it's understandable. Thank God Taeyang never wavers and is honest because he speaks up and make it clear that he won't go anyhwere and that he needs Jiwan to accept that he is loved!! And us readers knowing why Jiwan is reluctant, makes my heart flutter when Taeyang is so fiercely in love.
The art style is so cute and amasing, I can't wait for read more of their story.

Taeyang ran into his first love Jiwan, except now he has a kid. The dialogue is good. The art is beautiful, the steamy scenes are spicy!!!

At the beginning, it seems liked the two had a one-night stand and poof a kid appeared. So it didn't make sense to me that turned out they know each other when they were at school. There's also an age gap that's pretty big, So essentially a 9th grader was hanging with a 3rd grader. While that's plausible, it's also unlikely. Now granted, as a grownup, it doesn't matter. But not sure why we were revising the past. My thing about the book, when they went from getting the kid to bed to having smex there was not much of a transition. I like build up with manhwa. Again, the art is beautiful but the transition was rough.

Anyway, thank you NetGallley for the ARC.

I received an advance copy of this title from the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, I really enjoyed this second chance romance manhwa - the two main characters had great chemistry and the overarching plot of seven dates to see if they fall in love is a cute set-up. For a second chance romance, the book gets spicy pretty quickly - and the scenes are very spicy. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a spicy MM romance.

The art of this manhwa is gorgeous and each character has a unique design. I really enjoyed the art style and the full color used throughout the book is one of the reasons I enjoy reading manhwa.

I am definitely going to be checking out the next volume to see how the relationship between our to MMCs continues.

Baby Taeyang being wingman for Taeyang was so adorable. They may not share DNA, but they share braincells.

This is clearly a have the sex and then have the feelings kind of story. I was not prepared for this much angst in the first volume of such a romantic sounding plot, but it wasn’t bad at all. I will happily follow this trio until they establish themselves as a family, which is the only ending I will accept.

Content warning: Watch out for the spicy scenes, you will be thrown into it from the very first page.

I received a digital ARC of this manhwa from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Taeyang is a firefighter who, after coverage of a daring rescue he performed, meets his first love, Jiwan, again. Jiwan ghosted him years ago but Taeyang still has a thing for him. Jiwan wants Taeyang to allow himself to be filmed for a documentary, and Taeyang agrees, if Jiwan will go on 7 dates with him, across seven Sundays.

This is definitely an adult BL romance. Very Spicy! Both men are adults who agree to the relationship and the complications surrounding them are very realistic. Taeyang is a sweetheart and Jiwan is prickly. He had his reasons for leaving and how those will work out will keep me reading. I'm interested to continue following the story.

3.5
I enjoyed reading this. I like the mix of the cute and spicy. I felt the romance was lacking some though. I was thinking you are aweful at communication. Why do people keep stuff from each other. Why chase someone who did not want you enough to talk? The art was nice. I like that he would still want someone with a child. This is cute and interesting but the couple aspect -- supposed romance was not so great to me but hey its the first volume. lol.
Thank you netgalley for allowing me to read this in exchange for a honest review.

Becoming a firefighter so he can help people, the main character finds himself saving a child from a burning building, which leads him to reconnect with his first love and childhood friend.

He discovers that his old friend has a child, but he still wants to try and rebuild their relationship. However, his friend is dealing with his own struggles, even though it seems like he may want to be with him too.

This is a great story about people facing their own challenges and learning to navigate their feelings. The art is also very well done and adds a lot to the story.

Seven Sundays is a BL manhwa in which firefighter Taeyang reconnects with Jiwan, the man who ghosted him eight years ago. Taeyang discovers Jiwan is now a father to a son also named Taeyang. He gets Jiwan to agree to go on seven dates with him on his day off to try and rekindle their romance. We learn what drove these two apart and how much they still like each other. This was a quick and fun read for mature readers. Thanks to Yen Press and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Fue una lectura divertida, ligera, perfecta para pasar el tiempo. Me hubiera gustado más si hubiese desarrollado más los personajes porque los sentí muy lineales de a momentos, pero como una historia de amor y comedia es bastante buena.

It was a fun, light read, perfect for passing the time. I would have liked it more if the characters had been more developed, as they felt a bit one-dimensional at times, but as a romantic comedy, it’s quite good.

Through a series of events Taeyang reconnects with his first love who ghosted him eight years prior. They start to rekindle their relationship and deal with what drove them apart in the first place.

This is a quick, cute read. I think volume 2 will develop the relationship more and expand on what happened in the past.

I got my ARC today. Volume 1 has been published and volume 2 is coming in November.

Thanks to NetGalley and Yen Press for the ARC

More of a 3.5, but I'm rounding down for the very petty reason that Charyeok draws ugly butts. I feel that's perhaps important when there are so many scenes where they're on display.

Silliness aside, this is a bit of a shaky start, but I like the family angle and that the no-chance rival is fairly quickly dispatched.
