This book was written well. The world and characters were fleshed out, relatable and charismatic. In two words I would describe this book as humorous and joyous. Very much a cozy and warm hearted book.

I did find this book to be a bit plotless. The main challenge in the book doesn’t pop up until over halfway through and very soon after the book ends. As a result I felt underwhelmed and found the cliffhanger to not be very engaging/thrilling as I didn’t have enough time to become fully invested in the outcome of the challenge.

However, the writing and the world’s likeableness makes this a story I would be open to continuing to read about. Oftentimes with books that lack plot I do not feel that way, so I think that is a testament to this series’ potential.
