Anyone who is interested in diet and nutrition, whether for yourself alone or for a family, will find something in this book. Practical, workable, common-sense advice about making healthy food choices, based both on modern evidence-based medicine and ancient and modern Jewish sources. Includes over 100 recipes. Quote I loved: "For those of us with a passion for chocolate, it may be time to dismiss some of our guilt and enjoy certain types of it in moderation." She then discusses all the good things in chocolate (flavanoids) and how to get them while minimizing the bad (fat and sugar).
