Maze has deserted Acadia, and now Wills is left with a major decision--to remain in the secure confines of a dogma-ridden world, the artifice of the Fathers, or to cast himself out into the forests, trusting the one person everyone has warned him against associating with, on a mad quest to discover the meaning of the tower. What good is logical resistance, however, when the pull of the heart interferes? Find out what awaits Wills and Maze in WIPE - Part 2.
Joseph Turkot is the author of eight novels and many short stories. He began writing as an independent author, and The Rain is his first release with Blackstone Publishing. He lives in South Jersey, and when not writing, he dreams of the day when he’ll be able to open an animal sanctuary.
What would you do if your whole world seemed to fall apart? Fight for your beliefs, or fall into line with everyone else. This is Maze and Will's choice in this epic second part to Wipe by Joseph Turkot. Will continues on the journey he left us with at the end of Part 1. Will both Will and Maze make it to their destination and what will they have to overcome to get there?
This part, for me, flowed so much better than part 1. This part contains some intense, well written action scenes that are executed perfectly. It's just the right amount of action in each scene that increase in intensity throughout each individual scene, as well as Part 2 as a whole. There is just enough of them to keep the story interesting and pushing you to want to carry on reading. It makes it very difficult to put down.
Both characters change immensely in this story. I particularly liked how much Will changed for the better and so quickly into this part too. He is stronger, more determined and not as inclined to just sit back and follow Maze or let her get them out of any situation they get themselves into.
This is fantastic and was well worth the long wait to read it. Looking forward to what else is in store for Will and Maze. I honestly couldn't find anything in this story that I didn't like and it is only right that I award this book a 5 star rating. Also, if want to get started on this story, Wipe part 1 is Free on Amazon right now and Wipe part 2 is only 99p. But please check the price before purchasing as they could change.
I am so happy to be so hooked on this series Wipe by Joseph Turkot. He has become my favorite new author. This story continues with Maze and Will's adventures outside the confines of the community of the Fathers and everything Will has ever known.
The meet up with Maze's love and he is to take them to his people to learn more about finding the tower and the Ark. But another group, the Red Men interfere with their plans and horrific chaos ensues leaving them in deep trouble. As in trussed up ready to be consumed.
Not good. Terrifying, in fact.
This book is very well written, as are all Turkot's books I have read so far. The characters are captivating and interesting. The new episodes will be released every three weeks and I can't wait!
Enjoyable reading. The action is fast-paced and constant. The author does well to keep up the suspense. The story suffers in that it is a little predictable at times, and the main character's obsession with a girl is pathetic and takes up too much of the story. In all, I liked the story and will definitely read the next installment.
