Oh, how I really wanted to like this but it just didn't do it for me. I knew it wasn't going to be some great piece of literature, but I thought it would at least be enjoyable and I don't really think it was...and I feel really bad saying that. I adore Jacob Wilson, he seems like such a doll in real life, but I think he needs to stick to his day job.
I'm not really sure where this serial is going...there didn't seem to be much of a plot to this first installment, except a lot of sex, and not very hot sex at that. We're left with a cliffhanger, but I honestly don't feel invested enough in the series that I'm contemplating not even bothering with the rest...I'll just have to see when it comes out.
I'll just say enter at your own risk.

I love the cover. it's hot.

So... I've picked up like 5 novels and dropped 3 of them and this is one of the three.

I don't know if I'm gonna give this another try. It seems like I'm not in the mood for not so exciting novels that's why I've been dropping books non stop.

It started with a sex scene, with two girls. I wasn't expecting another sex scene, with a customer. I skipped even before that scene, those that I didn't find that interesting. But after the second S Scene, I started to skip paragraphs. Then the third F scene happened at the club... meh...

One sex scene with a stranger or a fuck buddy or a one night stand or whatever is okay, but three? in a span of a few minutes or a few pages??? Ef no!

Yowsers!! Lord that made me feel all kinds of tingly hot (hides face in shame)...and what an exciting thrill ride that was to experience.
Jake is a sexy as sin tattoo artist who gets way more than he can handle from eager clients to pretty much any women he comes in contact with. Add to this fact that he has a twin brother who has just opened up a successful nightclub (where scantily clad women abound) with hot business partner Addi, and you have one delicious recipe for a big mess of trouble.
This first segment introduces us to all the "players" in this series so far, and from the short taste I got it promises to be a whole lot of sexy erotic fun. A super collaborative effort by Hilary Storm and Jacob Wilson. Bring out the swing set...and I don't mean the kind your kids play with in the backyard =)

This was a quick enjoyable read. We get introduced to Jake and Addi. Jake is quite the manwhore, a very typical magnet to ho's. And then he meets Addi, his brother's business partner. She's gorgeous, smart and wants not much to do with Jake, she's not falling to her knee's or fawning over him.

As I said this was a quick read, and in my opinion should be seen as an introduction to the world according to Jake Wilson, it shows us the type of life he leads, and its just a beginning, its not the whole picture. We will have to move on to subsequent installments to get the whole picture.

As soon as Jake & Addi met I was hooked, I must find out if Addi is the one woman who can make Jake want to change.

You can tell this was written by a man but unfortunately it's probably to be read by men, like playboy. I expected lots of sex no issues there, guy a manwhore no issue there but a girl wanting to thank him for the tatt he gave her by giving him a BJ.
'I didn't know how else to thank you', how about paying him in cash hunny. I found that a little insulting. I didn't see the female perspective in this story at all and it was co-written by a woman, I would love to know what her contribution was because I didn't see it at all. Sorry but this is truly an awful story

Ok, so no, just no. Thought this book was about Jake & "Addi".....clearly I was very, very wrong. It was actually about Jake & every single girl he came in contact with and slept with all of them. First by this author, but sadly it will be the last. This just made me feel yucky...and I needed a shower. If a book is not about an actual couple...that may be a great thing to disclose in the description.....just sayin....did not finish, got about 60% in and realized it wasn't getting any better. In the description it says "what happens when he meets the first girl to challenge him?".....oh, pick me I'll tell you....he still screws everyone else. This sucks too because I have other books by this author & now I'm not going to read them:(.

Wow, I have loved everything that Hilary has written and this was no exception. Hilary and Jacob have done a freaking awesome job writing this book.
Jake was hot, sexy, and dirty, I mean, what's not to love. I loved the fun loving, carefree attitude he had with women and life. His honesty was funny, and seeing the way he left women in his wake was epic. The sex was steamy as shit, raw and gritty.

The other thing I loved was how Jake was loyal and loved his twin brother Jax and his tattoo shop and the staff, which he is damn proud. His work and family mean a lot to him.

Looking forward to the next installment.

This book was getting a lot of press on my FB newsfeed, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Especially since I could get it through Kindle Unlimited. Well, I thought it was terrible. As other reviewers have pointed out numerous times, lots of sex. Not that I'm apposed to sex in books at all, but if it adds to the story. This seemed to be some sex scenes with other scenes thrown in. I was hoping for some sort of direction, but I just didn't see it in this installment at all. In fact, I was left wondering if women really do act like this in real life.

This is a serial; so we really don't get any resolution to a story. An the story I'm not sure where we are going. Jake is a total manwhore. This seems to be a endless description of his sexual escapades with various women. I really didn't like this guy although he was honest with all of women what he was about. Then he meets Addi, who appears to be a mystery woman so we don't really know about her other than she is disgusted with his behavior. Don't know if I would wait for the next one since it was supposed to be issued in March. So I'm glad I got this one on KU.

Super short story that just suddenly stops. No way I'd pay for this story in pieces. The whole thing sounds like a guy talking shit with his buddies... unbelievable, egotistical braggart. No respect for women, or Bitches as he calls them. He is a God in his world. Nothing redeeming about him so far, except his succesful business, unless you want to worship at his... feet. As a woman with no problem reading erotica, this was a major miss. Might appeal to college boys, but MY bad boys have got Jake's bod and none of the asshole attitude.

This is first installment in a serial and by the end I was left needing book two like yesterday.....
This is a short, seriously hot, pantie wetting story ...... It will leave you in need of a cold shower haha ....
But I devoured this book within an hour ..... Jake is a hot, badass tattoo'd man whore who everyone wants.....
This little book shouldn't be missed and I seriously can't wait for the story to be continued on ....

I couldn't find a true plot hidden between the sex scenes.
Don't get me wrong, those scenes were hot, but they just weren't enough for me to continue on to the next installment.

3.5 Star Review Jake (Inked Brothers: Jake Book 1) by Hilary Storm and Jacob Wilson

I had the honour to meet both Hilary Storm and Jacob Wilson whilst attending the Tennessee author event in July 2014. They are wonderful and genuine people and I am excited to see them again in Melbourne, Australia later in the year.

This is their first collaboration together and I must say that it is certainly full on. There is an amazing amount of sizzling hot sex scenes. This is the story of Jake, a successful business owner who runs his own tattoo shop and Addi, the one woman who seems to be immune to his charms.

Jake meets Addi when his brother Jax opens a club and she is his business partner.
At the grand opening of the club, Jake has sex with a blonde in the ladies restroom and when leaving runs into Addi who obviously disapproves. Later he gets into a fight when he steps in to protect Rikki, a member of his work family who is being harassed by a jerk who brought her a drink. Jake goes back to a friend’s house to continue the party and is surprised when Addi walks in with his brother.

Jake appears to spend most of his time having sex with random women, rarely with the same woman twice, although there are some exceptions. He loves his family and his bulldog Brutus, who he looks upon as his child. Jake lusts after Addi but believing she is involved with his brother Jax takes it no further.

Addi is a bit of a mystery. She goes to his tattoo shop to get her first tattoo but instead of asking for Jake, one of the others starts to draw out the tattoo she wants ignoring what she actually asked for. Jake overhearing and recognising her voice, goes out and takes over. Addi loves the outline of the tattoo Jake draws and agrees to go ahead with it. Whilst he is working on it one of his staff come in to tell him that Brutus is sick.

Jake is beside himself with worry and Addi, who used to be in vet school, tells him that she has medicine at her home that will help make Brutus better and suggests they go get it. When they arrive they go through boxes to find the medicine. Jake being inquisitive opens a box that perhaps he shouldn’t. It contains all sorts of sex toys and when Addi realises what he has found she asks him not to mention to his brother. Jake is surprised since he believes they are involved. (After all Jax is currently staying at Addi’s house). Addi swiftly advises that she is not involved with Jax much to Jake’s relief… here ends book one….

This series has potential and I look forward to seeing where the series goes when book 2 is released in March.

Jake ist Inhaber eines gut gehenden Tattooladens und liebt die Frauen. Oft und viele! Als ihn sein Bruder zur Eröffnung seines neuen Clubs, an dem er Teilhaber ist, einlädt erhofft sich Jake einen lockeren Abend mit Freunden, Frauen und Alkohol. Doch dann begegnet er Addi, der Geschäftspartnerin seines Bruders.

Meine Einschätzung:
Hmm, ich gestehe, dass mein Klappentext nicht allzu viel her macht (glaubt mir, der von Amazon klang deutlich vielversprechender, aber ihr seht ja was ich davon hatte!), doch was soll ich auch groß über die nicht vorhandene Handlung schreiben? Es ist ja nichts nennenswertes passiert, dass man auch nur im entferntesten als Handlung beschreiben könnte.

Versteht mich nicht falsch der Schreibstil war nett zu lesen und irgendwie konnte ich die 71 Seiten nicht aus der Hand legen, was eher daran lag, dass ich mir vorkam wie bei nem Unfall, bei dem man auch nicht weg schauen kann. Doch das war es auch schon ...

Es war schrecklich, dabei kenne ich solche Geschichten zur Genüge: Bad Boy begegnet der einzig wahren Frau in seinem Leben und wird zum Pantoffelheld.
Doch hier war Jake weder Bad Boy noch sonst irgendwas. Er bezeichnet sich zwar selbst als schwarzes Schaf der Familie (aber betont auf der anderen Seite immer wie erfolgreich er ist, dass er ein Haus gekauft hat etc) und schläft mit allem was bei drei nicht auf den Bäumen ist.
In meinen Augen ist er einfach nur eine männliche H*** und sein ganzes Gehabe ist mehr als nur unsympathisch.

Eine Handlung ist auch nicht zu erkennen, denn es wird im Grunde eigentlich nur in verschiedenen Variationen gezeigt wie oft, mit wie vielen und in welchen Stellungen ein Mann am Tag Sex haben kann (das er sich da noch nichts eingefangen hat ist ein Wunder!!). In meinen Augen mehr als geschmacklos. Ich hab grundsätzlich nichts gegen Sexszenen, doch alles in Maßen und mit Geschmack, doch hier war es nicht mal besonders gute Sexszenen - sorry, wenn das alles so harsch klingt, aber mir gefiel das Buch ganz und gar nicht und ich hätte mich tot geärgert, wenn ich Geld dafür ausgegeben hätte.

Auch die Tatsache, dass der Cliffhanger so willkürlich gesetzt wirkt störte mich kolossal! Klar gibt es Cliffhanger, aber hier wirkte es einfach nur, als habe die Autorin gesagt: So hier ist Schluss von Buch 1.

When I heard that Hilary had gone into cahoots with Jake to write this book...as well as others on the way...I was so excited I screamed for joy and my husband had to come running to make sure I was okay lol. I had been waiting forever for it to come out and since I had pre-ordered it when Midnight rolled around signaling the 10th of February I checked my kindle and low and behold it was THERE!!!! While I wanted to start reading it I had work early so had to go to bed and here it is two days later!! I finished it yesterday but had to wait till today to do my review so here goes.

If you are like me and you were able to read the first little bit of this book when Hilary and Jake did their Pre-Release party you were able to see just how exciting and sexy it was going to be lol. After reading the book I have to say I am more than excited to see what is going to happen next! I mean so far we have watched (or read if you like) Jake pleasuring two chicks in a very sexy way, he went to his brothers' club opening, there was a bar brawl, and now somehow Dani has gotten under his skin lol....Oh man I cannot wait for this to continue....Oh..OH...OHhh and the best part is.....THERE ARE TWO HOT JAKES LOL!!! Did you forget already you silly people lmao he has a twin we get to oogle too and I hope there is a little more about him as well in the next installment!!! Overall I am rating this one in at Four Hearts and anxiously awaiting the next one!!!

Darn... where to start. "Jake" by Hilary Storm, Author & Jacob Wilson

It's a great storyline & I just adore the details & Brutus. (as a Bulldog owner I can just hear him snore & know the look in his eyes) Can't wait for volume 2 & wouldn't mind a complete series of each character after this one, even Rikki!

what's the story about?
Jake's got a good fuck-system going untill he meets Addi Woods, successful club owner (partnership with Jake's twin brother Jax Wilson). His charm doesn't work on her, the challenge is awoken & the game is on. Will he break through the image she clearly has of him? (Can't blame her, she has front row seats to a few encounters that leaves her no doubt of his wild existence) Or will she be the one gal that leaves him wanting more.

Well if you haven't grabbed your copy of Jake yet, lightning speed your ass to get it.
You dive right in at page one & forget to breathe... I did... Well untill there was coffee almost coming out my nose (seriously! Motor boat that... page 1!) LMAO! DAMN! I had more than a few laughs & a huge grin on my face with this story.
I feel like it's more of an introduction & a hell of a good one at that. (#2 to be released in march) When you hit that last page you'll stamp your foot & demand more. Yeah... to quote Jake: "I think it's sexy as fuck."

Jake Wilson is the hot, tattooed, non-commitment type so many of us like to read about. Thinking he can get any woman he lays eyes on, never having to work to get a girl into bed. Yeah we all know that type. The ones we hate but secretly wish we were the one he was taking to bed. Like most guys, it takes one female to reject him for him to see her as a challenge. For Jake that woman is Addi Woods, the girl who sees right through him and knows what he is really after.

Although I have been fan girling Hilary Storm for a while now, Jake was actually the first book of hers that I have read. I KNOW I KNOW! I have no idea what made me wait so long. The fact that she co-wrote it with Jacob Wilson makes it even better (I may be secretly stalking him on Facebook too!). I absolutely loved Jake. (Do you think he drew on his real life for any aspects of these books?) What I enjoyed most is that the story was wrapped up in a pretty bow to read. It was intensely HOT! And I mean, I needed a cold shower after reading it HOT. I will admit that it could be because it is so easy to put a face to the book boy that I was reading. As much as I hate cliff hangers this one worked well and definitely drew me in. The anticipation for Jake 2 was HIGH! I couldn’t wait to see if Jake got what he wanted.

Looking for a quick hot read? Jake Volume 1 is definitely that! We meet Jake who is a tattoo artist with a healthy appetite for sex, but not relationships. The first chapter of two will definitely drive that point home for you.

Jake is hot, and knows what he wants, but I feel as if he's letting himself not really enjoy life since he won't allow women really into his life. I mean don't get me wrong, his scenes with the many girls are hot and will have you fanning yourself. But I'm a sucker for getting the bad boy who doesn't want a relationship to find that one person. This may happen still as Jake is only volume 1 in a serial, and with the way it ended, I have some hope, but still.

The scenes with Jake and his conquests are always hot, and I was glad that we got some story in this book instead of just sex and random hookups. I love the sex filled books as much as anyone else, but I also love when the authors add a real story into the books, and I feel that this serial will definitely have some story added into it.

This is definitely a must one click book if you're looking for a quick, steamy book with some interesting encounters, and a hot tattooed bad boy! I am definitely looking forward to volume 2 to see how everything plays out!

Amazingly Hot!

A new venture by Hilary Storm and Jacob Wilson as co-authors just for our reading pleasure! It didn't disappoint and may have melted a few parts of my Kindle. This new series will be on-going so get ready to join in the fun and not miss a second of the heat. Jake is sex-on-a-stick with the ink and muscle to back that claim up and he knows it. He uses it and his rules to keep himself one very happy man without attachments. Running his tattoo shop by day and working his way through very willing women by night along side his best buddy, Brutus, his dog. His life may not work for everyone but it's working for him. At his brother's club opening, he meets Addi. She hits his buttons but doesn't give him the time of day. Jake loves a challenge but what else is going on here. Read and find out. This is a serial so don't expect it to be all wrapped up in pretty bows by the end. It's ok though, I'm more than ready to get round two with Jake! Great read in this first installment and I can't wait to see what is in store for the future!

Jake is a tattoo artist and is very successful. He's also a serious manwhore. He was with four or five different girls in a couple of days, and apparently has women throwing themselves at him often. If you're looking for a book with some sexy times, this is it.When Jake's twin, Jax moves back into town and opens a fancy nightclub, Jake meets Addi, Jax's new partner. She caught him in one of the restrooms with a random chick so doesn't fall for his flirting. Jake is definitely attracted to her, but she blows him off whenever he tries to get close. Once he learns for sure she's not involved with his brother, you get the impression he's going after her.

This was a short book, and apparently a serial of some sort. It doesn't necessarily end on a cliffhanger, but does just kinda end. The next is supposed to be released sometime late March. If the price is right, I'll probably continue this series to see what happens next.

I liked the characters well enough, but didn't have much time to get to know them.

BANG right from the start Jake is going at it burning up the pages of this serial !! I was reading this in my husbands truck in the dance studio parking lot while he napped on Valentine's night !! It was snowing , he had to go plow and we were waiting for our kids to be done their dance party !! Sadly we do not have the life of Jake !! Had we been in a more secluded parking lot maybe we would have fogged up the windows !!

So after the first bit we get that Jake loves sex and he has it anytime and anywhere with anyone !! I am not complaining between the heat and the eye candy. I do wish we got a little bit more of him and Dani before it ended but.....it is a serial and more will come and I am hoping to see Jake settle down and still get some super hot steam but just with one girl instead of tons !! Where will Dani and Jake's story go ?? I am not sure but there are a few things I can see happening....

If you want moist panties in a matter of minutes grab this book and give it a read !!

HOT, RAW, AND DIRTY SEX!

Jake is not the type of guy who will wine you, dine you and come back for more. No, he is going to take what you are offering tell you to never expect a damn thing back, except for pleasure and move on with your day. That's how he plays the game and that's how its been played.

Don't get the guy wrong. I mean he does have a love and passion for certain things; his shop, his bike, his dog and his house. Not a clingy female, hell he hasn't talked to his twin brother in forever.

This book gives us an insight of who Jake is, what he likes, how he likes it and how he likes to give it. The book is a super quick read and its a hot read, one that will have you squeezing your thighs together. Good luck not visualizing Jacob Wilson while reading and good luck not blushing.

I actually enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next hot, sexy and dirty installment.
