Cousin Andrea, who Raven has shared a bitter rivalry with since childhood, is visiting. When best friend Eddie and Andrea start flirting, Raven has to do something-fast. So, she announces that she and Eddie are . . . gasp . . . dating! Plus, when Raven has a vision of her little brother saying he hates her, she decides to throw the best birthday party ever for him.
Lizzie McGuire may have been the start of my Disney Channel fandom, but it was Raven that kept it going. The teen psychic's hilarious adventures were much more entertaining and humorous than the girl with the animated, inner-thought-voicing alter ego. Even in recent years, Raven and friends have made me laugh and smile.
So...you'd probably think I'd like this...and I did! Not only was it a novelization of two classic episodes, but the writing was a step up for these kinds of books. While an out-of-print novel like this may be hard to find, if you're a Raven fan and see this at a thrift store or garage sale, get it while you can!
Still two good stories but not the most memorable in my opinion. In the first Raven tried to impress her cousin and in the second she tries to impress Cory and make his birthday party a success.
the thing i liked about this book is how raven always stands up for herself and never lets anything or anyone get in the way. This book really wasn't my favorite book and the only way i would read it again is if i really had to. i think this book is more for younger peole.
