Everly Dupree had dealt with ghosts before. Witches were another matter—especially dead ones.
When a local witch turns up dead just days before the annual Halloween event, Everly Dupree can’t ignore the uneasy feeling that the murder is tangled up in more than costumes and candy. There’s a coven in Mooselick River—and it’s been hiding in plain sight. What first appears to be a seasonal tragedy quickly reveals itself to be something far more complicated, rooted in belief, resentment, and secrets no one intended to share.
With ghosts growing restless and the clock ticking toward Halloween night, Everly must separate performance from belief to uncover the truth.
Because in Mooselick River, not every secret stays buried… and not every monster wears a costume.
ReGina Welling writes witchy romantasy and paranormal romance filled with magic, destiny, and emotionally rich love stories.
Her novels are often set in small towns where ancient magic still lingers and the past refuses to stay buried. She enjoys exploring the pull of fate, the complexity of relationships, and what happens when love and power collide.
When she’s not writing about witches, spells, and slow-burn attraction, ReGina lives in Maine with her wonderful husband, a goofy flufferpup named Dash, and a feisty cat called Cricket.
Fun addition to the Haunted Everly After series by ReGina Welling & Erin Lynn. Lots of twists and turns. When a Wicca coven wants to hold a ceremony at the Halloween festival in Mooselick River, things get complicated like they always do when Everly is around. Was the murdered witch the intended victim or a mistake? *I received this as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review.
This book is too delightful to miss! It is pure fun from start to finish, with a twisty mystery, simmering suspense, lots of humour, and the most wonderful characters. I would recommend it to anyone!
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.
Cute, established series. Enjoyable with minimal angst. I enjoy the team approach to the issues as well as the future planning. So sweet to have the group together at the lake. This one was pretty emotional. Poor Scooter.
