The first third dragged as we had to go on one impossible mission after another. To get from A to B one must go to C, to get to C need D-G, so on. Finally the pieces came together.

Of course this required hand waving an A Miracle Occurs Here, but that’s ok. I much prefer optimism.
Series is somewhat character driven, but main hero is not developed. Leading sidekicks get more attention especially Octavia. I wish author had her take the high road with her ex husband when they escaped with daughter. That bothers me.

Great ending for an amazing series

I really hate to see this series end, but it got one hell of a send off! This book has all of the military sci-fi goodness I’ve come to expect from Reece Landon throughout the Obsidian Sector series.
