Sons of Rage MC Book 5

Book five in this series is just as fresh and engaging as the others before it. Flint has always fought his draw toward Jules but now when she shows up at his door and needs help, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe and finally give in to his feelings for his best friend’s sister. Jules feels the same way about Flint so watching their chemistry ignite made this book all the better.

This author always brings action, suspense and steam to her stories and this book was no different which made this a real page turner for me. I cannot wait for the next book to come.

2.5* WHY IS FLINT’S COVER PIC EXACTLY THE SAME AS MICA’S?? Still so many missing details, the plot with the baddies isn’t resolved, and never mentioned again. Jules age changed a couple of times, no idea how old Flint is. It’s enjoyable but there wasn’t any mention of any other ladies except Tessa briefly. I really liked Rock’s wife and there’s no mention of her at all!

While it passed some time, there was a lot of things missing in this book. No idea again what Jules looks like. Is she blonde, dark, small, tall??? Flint seems to have no interest in a relationship with Jules, then all of a sudden he’s always been in love with her. 🙄🙄🙄 Jules and her brother are really close as he brought her up after their mom died. Yet when she moves into Flint’s house after her brothers there’s no mention of him again till the end! Does he never ring Jules or his best friend Flint??? The plot with the baddies never gets fully resolved and isn’t mentioned again. Jules at the beginning of the book is 15 when her mother dies, then later on she’s 12! 😂😂😂 There’s no mention of any of the ladies again, apart from Tessa very briefly. I like Rock’s wife. (Forgot her name.) Why was she not mentioned at all?

Jules is driving home one night when she sees a man beaten and stuffed in a trunk. When the baddies realise that she’s seen them her life is in danger, and she goes to stay with her brother Tommy. Tommy is a prospect for the Sons of rage, and apparently is a helicopter parent to Jules. HE REALLY ISN’T! In fact he hardly bothers with her. Tommy gets a position in the new Mc with Mica and that leaves Jules on her own, so she goes to live with Flint, who she’s always really liked. They’re soon working together, living together and doing everything together. It was a bit weird to be honest. It felt really manufactured their whole relationship. I never felt any chemistry between them.

A lot of details missing, and it spoilt it. I did enjoy it in parts and I will read the final one, as I want a happy ending.

This was another solid addition to the Sons of Rage MC series, and I thoroughly enjoyed Flint and Jules' story.

I'm always a fan of the best friend's little sister trope, and this book delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The history between the characters added an extra layer to the romance, and I loved seeing Flint finally stop fighting the feelings he'd been trying to ignore for so long.

What worked particularly well for me was the balance between the romance and the suspense. The danger surrounding Jules gave the story a constant sense of tension, while also creating opportunities for Flint's protective side to shine. And let's be honest—there's something incredibly satisfying about a gruff biker who would do absolutely anything to keep his woman safe.

Flint was exactly the kind of MC hero I enjoy reading about: protective, loyal, and completely devoted once he finally accepted what Jules meant to him. Beneath the tough exterior, there was a softer side that made his feelings feel genuine rather than simply possessive.

Jules was also easy to root for. She never felt like a damsel waiting to be rescued, and I appreciated that she brought her own strength to the story. The chemistry between them was undeniable, but what I enjoyed most was watching their emotional connection grow alongside the attraction.

The pacing kept me engaged throughout, and the suspense storyline added enough twists and danger to keep the pages turning. While there weren't many huge surprises, it was an entertaining and satisfying read from beginning to end.

Overall, Flint delivered everything I expect from an MC romance: danger, loyalty, protective instincts, chemistry, and a couple I couldn't help but root for. Another enjoyable installment in the Sons of Rage MC series.

**Best Friend, Little Sister!**

The fifth book in the Sons of Rage MC series is titled “Flint.” I really enjoyed Flint and Jules' love story; their connection is so well-balanced and supportive. The mystery and action-packed suspense throughout the book had me hooked from the beginning.

When Jules witnesses something she shouldn’t have, the only place she knows she will be safe is with her brother's best friend, Flint, whom she has always had a crush on. When Jules shows up at his doorstep, Flint can sense something is wrong. He doesn't push her to open up, knowing she will do so in her own time. However, the pull he has always felt for Jules is now even stronger, driving him to protect her and keep her safe.

When danger comes after Jules, Flint jumps in with his MC brothers, ready to do whatever it takes to ensure her safety. He also respects her autonomy, allowing her to be part of her own rescue and decision-making, validating her feelings about the threats she faces.

I found myself unable to put down Flint and Jules' story; it was so engaging that I read it in one sitting. I truly loved witnessing the build-up of their relationship, which felt realistic, authentic, and incredibly steamy. The chemistry between them, along with the well-balanced action and suspense, was fantastic. I am looking forward to what comes next in this series!

This could have been a very basic brother’s-best-friend, secret-crush kind of book. But it’s cooler than that. To zhoosh it up, there is a mysterious kidnapping, a man’s silent plea for help, a mistaken identity, and the person who witnessed it all was Jules, the heroine.
Jules is being threatened by suited men whose appearance screams Mobster as loudly as Christian Louboutin shoes scream Take Me Home. So she runs to her brother for help. Tommy is prospecting for his lifelong best friend’s MC, the Sons of Rage. Flint, the best friend of Tommy and secret crush-object of Jules, is determined to help Jules track down what happened. Great setup for some solid tropes, including:
Friends to Lovers
Brother’s Best Friend
Club Ho-ho-ho drama
Secret Crush
A Good Day for the Cat
Surprise Pregnancy
Virgin Heroine.
Book is Safe and passes the Bechdel test. The heat is explicit.
Triggers include but are not limited to:
Firearms
Abduction
Violence
Language.

This is the fifth installment in the Sons of Rage MC series. We follow Jules and Flint. Flint is her brother's best friend, and she has harbored feelings for him and had a crush on him for many years. When she sees something one evening that wasn't meant for her eyes, no one believes her. She knows only one man she can turn to who believes her, and that is Flint. Despite being his best friend's sister, he has decided, after years of longing for her from a distance, to go for what he wants, while at the same time protecting her and the club. A delightful story that holds your attention from the very beginning.

Things were not good for Jules at the start of this one. For what she witnessed, she kept a cool head and sought help. It was crazy what ended up happening and the real truth of things. Luckily Jules was able to go to her brother for help. I felt bad for Tommy at the start, really thought he got the shaft, but he ended up with a much better option for him. Of course that left things open for Flint to keep a eye on Jules. Of course they ended up together and of course Tommy lost it when he found out. It all turned out ok with Jules stunning her brother and even Flint when she explained things. Nice to see how this one ended, everyone happy and planning their futures.
