finally

They get the HEA!!! And peace. Family. It was a long journey. And I honestly did not like parts of this book. And I will get into that. But I did like how it ended. Happy they got the HEA. Now for the SPOILERS!!

So I hated how native she continued to act. How do you really believe you are ahead and place yourself in their hands!!! Now you become a prisoner because you went there yourself!! Like come on did you not learn anything. Did you not grow. They keep talking about how much she did but then this happens and I’m like what. And I did not like Raymond. He put her in danger knowingly. And did not seem to care what was happening while she was there. I don’t know. I also didn’t like how she was treating the guys in the beginning. Now I did love all the guys. They are all special in their own way. Different and bring their own to the relationship.

This author really needs to just stop with the prologues. They give too much away and serve no purpose. Not only that, but they aren't actually prologues. They are a flash forward, which i this author's case, are done poorly. Both book 3 and 5 shouldn't have had them at all.

So, they mention that they should help the Senator, but then they just forget all about him for months. They just left him hanging, choosing instead to kill the people who buy Ellie, even though she's safe at the hotel where nobody can find her. Their procedures are highly inefficient, which can be expected of highschoolers, but seriously... the Fed? He really lets things just meander in this investigation to the point where nothing makes sense anymore.
This story was just all over the place.

Oh my goodness, I am so glad that this series is over. I got to the point where I was skimming through everything, especially with the multiple epilogues. I don't need a scene of them playing naked Twister. Didn't really need that scene with Raymond showing up.
I am so looking forward to reading something else. I will not read these again, and will not recommend them.

Final book and while good a little underwhelming. Definitely had a few surprise twists, but Ellie's naive thinking never got better.
I was lucky that I picked up the series when it was completed so I didn't have to wait. If I did I don't know if I would have finished. Unlike book 3 to 4 I needed to know and I finished them in a day. This book I took breaks and didn't even read one full day. The plot was solid and made sense and the twists were good, but it drug on way to long. The last 3 chapters were skips a few months, a year and then 5 years I think? If you're going to end the book but need to wrap up things in the future, fine, but do it in one chapter as a look back then what's going on now. Don't give me multiple "final" chapters
It does end in a HEA that I'm not super fond of but I get considering some of the boys. I was on the fence of giving 3 stars or 4 stars and decided on 4 because the chapters that had me hooked really did get my pulse racing and loved the twist and craziness. It could have been condensed more and Ellie and the boys could have been a little smarter. Although what do you expect of 18/19 year olds.

5/5 Ellie "Landon's warmth. Beckett's creativity. Dominic's devotion. Zane's joy. Ryker's steady, unshakable presence. My home. My family. My everything." I thoroughly enjoyed these books. Ellie and Fischer figured out that they were only adopted siblings and that Ellie's roommate Jane was Aria's sister. Aria lived two lives and only wanted to sacrifice Ellie, not realizing that Ellie became a monster to take down the rest of them. Raymond escaped and came clean about him accidentally ending her parents. Victoria and Piper had no idea that Jane knew everything and was trying to get to Landon. Landon lived thankfully and they all survived, getting their happy ending. Senator Reece even escaped thankfully! Aria had Beckett, Ryker, Dominic, and Ellie brought to her house under the guise of teaching Ellie how to become her. It was definitely a struggle, but they made it. I loved the plot, the slow burn, the group scenes, how much each character grew!

The final to this series. Since it’s been two years since the last book, I had a hard time getting through this book and being invested in this series. I never loved that on going plot of the POP/Devine one storyline.

“This entire time, it was a trap. How could I have been so stupid”
⬆️ one of Ellie’s thoughts. Really you didn’t think it was a trap? Sometimes during the story, she said the dumbest things. Like she was shocked when they went to aria’s house and the guys were checking the room for bugs or cameras. That would be the first logical thing to do and she thought “the guys were losing their minds”

I had a hard time connecting with this book. There was separation of the group for most of this book.

Overall, the series conclusion isn’t bad, but I didn’t love it.

A perfect farewell to a beloved series

This was one of the strongest series conclusions I’ve read in a long time. From beginning to end, I’ve loved these characters and the world they inhabit, and this final installment delivered a deeply satisfying and emotional payoff. It wrapped up the major arcs in a way that felt earned and meaningful, while still leaving just enough space for future growth (a novella would be amazing!).

This series has truly stayed with me, and this author continues to impress with their storytelling and character development. I can’t wait to see what they write next.

I feel like I have been waiting so long for this book and it was well worth the wait. I am a huge fan of this author and have devoured everything she has written. I would rather wait as long as needed for a book to be finished and well written rather than rushed. this book was the perfect conclusion for this series and I was so excited for the hea the characters received. this was an emotionally charged book, filled with twists and turns. and she was thicccc. Definitely dive in now and see how the series ends

Well, it's over now and I no longer have to wait years for the next one. It was fine enough. One thing I truly loathe is an overpowerful bad guy -- which is exactly the case here. Rereading the series recap at the beginning made me realize just how truly bonkers and convoluted this plot is. If you want a wild ride of a series this may work for you but for most readers I'd say don't bother.

Sooo Good! - Emotionally wrecked.

Great wrap up to an amazing series. First I am so happy I waiting until the series was finished to read it. Especially between book four and five. I really enjoyed all of the main characters and the writing was distinctive between them all. I think I’m going to miss Zane and Ryker the most! Loved it.

Misleading

Ok, so, the book or the saga was good, I'm not gonna talk about the book here, I wanna know something. Sister, what was your thinking process picking those dudes? Also, shouldn't this be classified as a YA because of their age? Also, I have a 20yo niece, and I will kill her if she does those things... Ew! It felt like child p...

insanity

Great ending for the series.

I love how it tied up all the loose ends and it wasn’t a quick gloss over and done, the extra curve balls thrown in helped keep with the dark theme and kept you guessing

Thank the book gods that Katie May included a recap of the previous books. There was such a huge gap that I forgot some of the details. So happy that we got a great HEA.
