Once upon a time, Merri Bright tucked romance novels behind all her textbooks and read love stories instead of the lessons. Now she writes the same kind of books she’s always loved, dreaming up stories about naughty angels, misunderstood demons, sexy shifters, growly Alpha males, and all sorts of dragons.

She drinks cinnamon tea while she writes, and believes in the power of naps, kitten cuddles, and long walks with her dog.

The Forgotten Angel omnibus by Merri Bright
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶🌶💀💀
Lost Feather, Fallen Feather and Rising Feather I’m absolutely obsessed with these characters, their stories and the glitter shenanigans. Glitter is MVP.
From smut covered forgotten protector too savior, mate, best birch and so much more. The character growth of Feather is perfectly written. Growly bear Mikhail is perfect first mate. Righteous the forgotten friend becomes so much more, Rumple the keeper of Feather. Gavriel redemption. From laugh out loud to tears. Unputdownable pageturner fun.
Tropes:
Romcom. Omnibus. Forced Proximity. Found family. Smexy shenanigans.
Quotes:
🪶Lost Feather
“So, I am spiritually contagious. Good to know.” I had moral mono. Heavenly herpes. Soul syphilis. I squinted at Sunny as she walked. “Aren’t you worried about it? Catching my smut germs?” One corner of her mouth tipped up.

🪶Fallen Feather
"... I like the Abyss. I may never want to leave, I thought to Rumple and plumped up what felt like a lumpy pillow under what may have been my butt. I still wasn’t sure. It’s warm and cozy and there’s lots of music. Needs fluffier pillows, though. The area around me filled with exasperation. “It’s not warm, little one. That’s me, holding you together. And the music is me singing.” He cleared his throat. “And don’t grab that ‘pillow’ so hard. It’ll get even harder.”

🪶Rising Feather
“It’s macramé.”“It is not macramé.” Her eyebrows wiggled up and down. “Macramé is one of the holy arts.” I fought back a laugh. “Stop judging. Shibari knots are incredibly difficult to master.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:

Feather finds herself immersed in a world she didn't know existed and that she seems to be a big part of.

This is a pretty fun and sexy RH series. I liked all the characters -- especially Feather. I liked the humor and the plot too (for the most part). Overall, I liked it.

This is one of my all time favourite series, and the books that got my hooked on Merri’s writing. I prefer to give reviews that are vague to avoid any spoilers so….
I laughed out loud so many times, I cried (I hate crying but dang it it was worth it) and gasped, I fanned my face, and maybe I have a crush on a gate?
I have read the series twice and I own two physical copies (this will be three), one digital and one audio (this series is better as an eyeball read).
It gives you the warm fuzzies with a touch of the “darker side”. You know, the suspense that means you need one more chapter, and the worry of someone survival, the angst of rejection, the joy of more than one redemption arc!!!! And so much more. It’s a fantastic draw you in plot, it has spice but it’s in ways that make sense. Like no one is bumping in the middle of a battlefield type thing.
Just stop wondering if you should read it and just start you’ll be so happy you did!

If you have never read The Forgotten Angel Trilogy, or you have, but really feel the need for a reread, then you are in for an absolute treat! This special edition omnibus is chock-full of all the original bits that made us fall in love with Feather, her guys, and even her friends. In true Merri fashion, she insures that you will feel the highs and lows right along with her characters. As always, I recommend that you keep a box of tissues nearby, because you will laugh, you will cry, and you will laugh until you cry. But, this is what makes it oh so good. On top of all this, you will finally get to see stunning art of Feather and her loves. When put together, this special edition omnibus is not only a work of art, but an absolute masterpiece! A masterpiece which you are going to want to own, and hoard for your very own.

Ah Feather..... I love this series by MB- and now you can read it all in one place! This trilogy has it all- adventure, mystery, hot times, and above all else- humor! I think this is the first trilogy that I actually laughed outloud with! Now, there will be some tear jerk scenes and cliff hangers, BUT you can just continue on the journey in this same book! Its complete!! I would say its my absolute fav of MB's work- but all of her writing is great! Don't hesitate to pick this up- follow along on Feather's journey- its a wild ride!!!

So good

I stayed up way past my bedtime several nights to read this. No regerts. Feather is an incredible FMC, and the men are glorious. The story kept me entirely captivated. I loved it.

the best thing that I like about the series is that it stays on the same level throughout the books. The craziness, fun, mumbo jumbo all of it are on the same level for each book. if you like the first book, the rest of the series will not disappoint

Fun read

I read this series a long time ago and enjoyed it but reading it in one go was more enjoyable. I had forgotten how funny it was.
