Cold Moon Rising: A gripping detective duo thriller with shocking twists

Rate this book
A home invasion gone wrong. A husband with secrets. A wife caught in the crossfire.

When four thieves break into Eddie Johnson's house, they think they are hitting a drug dealer sitting on a pile of cash. They're wrong - but not by much. Eddie's business ties hide darker connections than he realizes, and when word of the kidnapping spreads, more dangerous players enter the game.

Detectives Jimmy Quinn and Micky Bondurant are called in to investigate the chaos, but with rival factions closing in, the line between rescue and revenge blurs fast.

As the walls close in, no one knows who to trust - or who will make it out alive.

"A home invasion gone wrong. A husband with secrets. A wife caught in the crossfire."
This book felt very much like and episode of Law & Order without the courtroom drama.  I enjoyed it, the pacing was pretty good.  I will say that for me, the ending was a little anti-climactic.  It had the action, but I felt like it was missing something.  Not sure what, but it just wasn't quite there for me.  Overall an enjoyable read though!

I enjoyed reading Cold Moon Rising. It was a quick read with a surprising ending. The story reads like you are watching a movie, and that last chapter was intense. It will have you on the edge of your seat.
