the connection, tears, gasps, and that welcome home feeling.
Haley
Runaway:
As always in the first few chapters, I am always gonna be hooked when anything by Haley Tyler is written. The amount of connection and understanding within the written words especially in perfect description with PTSD from the past where it meets in the now not only the pretense of what has happened to the leading character or the me I see within her. This read absolutely perfect timing because it is almost the anniversary when Haley and Bex with their book, Sin With Me saved my mom and my life. Just to say this is me 3% in and am taking in every word and falling in love with the FMC and MMC.
Only few can get me in lost within the moment written in first sentence let alone few chapters because I instantly it felt like I was being welcomed home. There’s something about the precise detail within the right moments that Haley captures in ways I simply cannot put in words. My brain says fast read but my heart screams “slow and easy” and like always my heart wins!! There is a reason why Haley co-leads the leader of the pack when it comes to having #1’s aside my two number #1’s that captured a part of not only my heart or soul, but perfectly imbedded themselves as my chosen book family, my two 1sts that entered me into dark romance. 41% made me tear up because CONNECTION… then there goes my heart and truly story of my life because Ari, same girl.
Final part: Just like everything I’ve read from Haley, she knows how to grab ahold of not only my heart but my soul because within the connection, understanding on a level where I see myself in Ari, I find myself in similar areas of the emotions while the visual of the written words create a film beginning to play outinside my head. Gasps, tears, and just the need to crawl inside these pages while never coming back out!! Thank you Haley for doing it again and making home within my heart. I swear I didn’t have one if it weren’t for phenomenal worlds like yours. Thank you for making reading feel equal to my hometown!! For creating a connection where I am heard in the areas that’s hard to reach or let anyone in to see… Also, I don’t give anything away but if you want to feel a connection in the areas you cannot find words, then this one is for you because Haley finds the words.

This is not the first book I read from this author but it is the first of her MC books and wow.
This book is a story of found family, of freedom, of self discovery and of how life can be when you find your people.
Aria was 20, sold to be married to a man notorious for killing his wives when he got bored of them. An orphan and brought up by her uncle who traded women like they were possessions and as soon as Aria became saleable he sold her innocence to the highest bidder.
Finding a way to escape she had to leave her uncle's compound and the other girls also trapped in that life. She made her way to El Paso where she stumbled into danger immediately and was rescued by Sav, his sister Loey and his MC group.
This book had me gripped from the beginning and it had plenty of ups and downs along the way.
I absolutely adored Omen and the way he was like a big brother to Aria was ridiculously sweet. I really hope Haley carries on with this group in her future books as I would love to see Omen find his woman.
Now I absolutely loved this book and you may wonder why I didn't rate it 5 stars. It was close to it for me, but when Sav and the MC Club went to Arizona to bring Aria back, it felt rushed, I needed to know more about how they got there, what they encountered, did anyone get injured? It skipped what should have been a bit of drama in the story.
I also was left with questions.
Do Reia and Graves get together?.......please let that be book 2
What happened to Frost?
Does Loey and Sav ever reconcile their differences?
I am excited to see whether we get a second book and hope we do.
A few trigger warnings to be aware of, but all in all one i didnt want to put down.

OMFG!!! I absolutely DEVOURED this book!! 😍🔥 I couldn’t put Aria and Sav down!! From the very beginning I was hooked, and there was absolutely no chance I was putting my Kindle down until I finished!!
Aria Vega!! My heart broke for this girl!! 🥹 She’s literally running for her life, paying the price for someone else’s mistakes, and just trying to survive. She’s scared, desperate, but she’s also got this strength about her that I absolutely loved!!
AND THEN THERE’S SAV!!! 🥵🔥 Holy freaking hell, this man!! A broody, protective MC president who already has the weight of the world on his shoulders, and then Aria walks into his life and turns everything upside down!! He knows she’s trouble, knows he should stay away, but does he?! HELL NO!! 😍
The chemistry between these two was EVERYTHING!! The tension, the attraction, the protectiveness, the way their feelings grow when neither of them was looking for love!! I was absolutely eating it all up!! 🥵❤️
And the suspense?! MY GOD!! Between Aria’s past catching up with her and Sav trying to prove himself to his brothers, there was never a dull moment!! I loved watching Sav struggle between his loyalty to his club and the woman who was stealing his heart!! Because when it comes down to it, how far will you go for the person you love?! 😭❤️

Aria is a runaway from her abusive scumbag of an uncle who sold her be married. She is young and pretty helpless when she is rescued by Sav and his sister Loey. Sav is the president of his struggling MC. He is older, jaded and secretly a softy for the people he cares about. He is also drowning from the weight of everything he feels responsible for, which really affects the way the story went. In the best way-both of them are a hot mess but together they balance each other's chaos and settle everything. It does take a while to get there though as they are terrible at communication. Both of them are super stubborn and have walls up to protect themselves. I really enjoyed when their friends talked sense into them. I loved their friends actually, especially Loey and Omen. Omen is perfect. Overall, I enjoyed this book and will definitely read more books in this series.

I read this book in less than a day and really enjoyed it! This was my first book by Haley Tyler, but it definitely won't be my last.
Sav was definitely a favorite. He may be a tough biker with a bad-boy side, but he also has a big heart and a soft spot for the people he loves. I loved seeing his softer side with Aria and his niece.
Aria is a true survivor, and I loved watching her slowly learn to trust Sav and Loey and find a place where she feels safe. They both have their struggles, but I loved seeing them find their way to each other.
Overall, this was a great read. I loved the characters, the storyline, and the balance between the tough biker world and the softer moments. I'm also really curious to see what's next, especially with Graves!

Aria and Sav were so great together. A bond formed where neither of them expected it. From Aria’s traumatic past to Sav’s longstanding no relationship lifestyle, neither expected to fall for the other. Sav is the big, touch MC president who has a permanent scowl on his face yet develops a soft spot for the new girl with the troubled past. The way he turns soft when she’s around gives you all the feels. And calling her Darlin’…swoon.
Aria found a family with Sav and his MC. She was able to let down her walls and start figuring out who she is. And of course you can’t have a dark romance without a little trouble. Sav saves Aria in more ways than one and it’s a beautiful story.

This was my first Haley Tyler book and it definitely will not be my last. This book was beautiful. Sav was a true gentlemen and full to the brim with love. Aria was a true survivor and the trust she had in Lo and Sav was freedom for her. Loved the side characters and the storyline was fantastic. I cannot wait to see what happens with Graves as hes clearly obsessed.
