This nonfiction book is full of stunning images and interesting, easy-to-absorb fact sidebars. This book not only shows what different things look like under the microscope, but also explains what scientists have learned about why things are designed this way, and how they all work.

So cool! Amazing close up images, paired with succinct explanations and interesting facts. I never knew how zipper teeth work, how beautifully rust forms, or why gecko feet defy gravity.
