Will Noah and Violet find the griefers who escaped to the Overworld?
Noah and Violet are busy rebuilding their town when the Ender Dragon flies above the village streets. The following day the Wither attacks them. As the town battles these harsh hostile mobs, Noah and Violet, with their good friends Hannah and Ben, set out to search for Daniel, whom they suspect is behind these vicious attacks.
As they search for the griefers, they find clues leading them to believe the griefers haven’t disappeared but are actually planning a master attack. Instead of battling the griefers, the gang has to find head griefer Daniel and his friends before they stage their next attack. While battling strikes from Endermen, the Wither, and the Ender Dragon, the group’s journey to find the tricky griefers leads them to an unexpected place, where the griefers have been hiding. Upon discovering the griefer’s hiding spot, a war ensues between Noah and Violet and the league of griefers.
Will Violet and Noah take down the league of griefers and survive all the mob attacks they face? Find out in this second installment in a new series for Minecrafters, the League of Griefers!
Sky Pony Press, with our Good Books, Racehorse and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of books for young readers—picture books for small children, chapter books, books for middle grade readers, and novels for young adults. Our list includes bestsellers for children who love to play Minecraft; stories told with LEGO bricks; books that teach lessons about tolerance, patience, and the environment, and much more. In particular, this adventure series is created especially for readers who love the fight of good vs. evil, magical academies like Hogwarts in the Harry Potter saga, and games like Minecraft, Terraria, and Pokemon GO. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.
In the last book Violet and Noah defeated Daniel and the Rainbow Griefers. In this book, Violet and Noah saw an Ender dragon attack their village, so Violet and Noah went to the End. Violet was destroyed in the End, Noah defeated the Endermen and the Ender dragon all by himself. He spawned in the desert Biome, and saw someone. That someone said that he was Harrison and that Noah can sleep in his desert temple. When Noah woke up, he found out that Harrison actually was part of his village! So Noah went home with a new recruit, Harrison. The village was very happy to see Harrison again. Violet, Noah and Harrison said that they were going to battle Daniel and the Griefers. Ben and Angela said that they would join the group too. So the group went in search of Daniel and his Griefers. They found out that he was hiding out in the jungle biome so after Daniel left his house the group stormed his base. They found a Griefer named Jack in Daniel's house who wanted to join their mission. Harrison didn't trust him but the rest of the group said it was okay. So after a lot of searching, the group found out that Daniel and his Griefers were hiding out in the icy plains biome, so the group stormed the place and almost got set on hardcore mode but they managed to escape. After that happened they went back to their village but Daniel and his griefers were already battling the village. Then Daniel spawned the wither! So the group persuaded the Griefers to be on their side and help them defeat the wither. Daniel ran away and the group blew up the wither. THE END

This book was not quite as painfully dull as the other Winter Morgan book I'd read, that also includes rainbow griefers, but not much better.
There's action, but it's awkwardly described. This causes any tension in the book to feel flat. Monsters are very hard! ... Until they're rapidly defeated in the next sentence.
Many other books targeting younger kids have better prose. That said, perhaps it will give some kids ideas of how to defeat Minecraft mobs. There are a lot of these books, if your kid only reads Minecraft.
Reading this series aloud to my boys...they think it's funny how often everyone gets destroyed and the action always makes them want to play the game. I'll be starting the third book to them
2/15/2016 ** I read this in preparation for my Minecraft Camp (spring break intersession). It is among the worst of the unofficial minecraft books. It's ostensibly set in the Minecraft world...the characters are Minecraft characters. However, the "place" is not set. Sometimes the characters are aware of their place in a human game; other times they seem to just be characters in a story. They refer to their hunger bar (the heads-up display the human player can see), though characters in the came presumably can't see the display.
Worse, the characters were cardboard cutouts; I couldn't keep track of motivations, personality, or which character was which. Given how many great books can't get published, I was stunned that this one went through a full publishing process.
I loved the book because it was all about Violet and her new friend's adventures. It kept me interested all the way through and that's not easy to do with me. So far, I have loved all of Winter Morgans books.
The book it self didn't make sense at first, because I haven't read the first book. But, when I read the book I kinda understood a bit more. By the way, I like it because it has a lot of action to it. I like Minecraft a lot, and I like the novels. This is a great novel! Good job Winter!
I think it was a fun book, and if you like Minecraft you will probably like this book. I didn't read book one yet, but it still makes sense if you start with book two.
