I write BWWM romance across four lanes: dark mafia, contemporary, paranormal, and erotic short stories—all built on obsession, power, and the kind of love that leaves bruises on your pride (in the best way).
My stories live where leverage matters. Where desire is a decision. Where the man doesn’t chase—he claims. And the woman isn’t a prize—she’s the one who can burn the whole operation down if she’s pushed wrong.
My debut novel, Dark Vows, released May 1, 2025, and it set the tone for what I do: high heat, hard choices, ruthless devotion, and heroines who don’t fold just because a powerful man wants them. Whether I’m writing mafia wars and bloodline politics, a contemporary romance that hits like a confession, a paranormal world with teeth, or a fast, filthy short meant to be read in one breath—my focus stays the same:
competent Black women, dangerous men, clear consent, and HEAs that are earned.
If you like romance with edge, intensity, and consequences—welcome. If you want sweet, soft, and polite… you’re probably in the wrong place.
This story of a contract marriage between a wealthy Korean Canadian man and a struggling Black Canadian woman starts with a thoughtless remark by the MC which leads to the FC losing her job as a server in a high end restaurant. The MC suffers an attack of conscience and coincidentally needs to marry to secure his place as the heir to a billion-dollar family business, so he offers to enter into a contract marriage with the FC. She agrees despite her reservations because she needs to cover medical care for her mother who is recovering from a stroke, and now has no income. Once they are married, the couple moves in and begins to learn about each other, discovering that they are more compatible than the difference in their backgrounds suggest. The story explores the gradual growth of feelings and the formation of family bonds between the couple and with their extended family. The pace of the romance is slower, and the secondary characters are well formed and interesting. The author spends the time to descibe the interior thoughts of characters and the world building leaves you with a picture of the locations described. It ends with a HEA, and was a good read. There were some continuity issues which could be fixed with a good editing, but that did not affect my enjoyment of the book.
This book grabbed me from page one and never let up. The setup is brutal, a viral public incident, a woman already carrying too much, and a powerful man forced to face the damage he caused, but what made this story hit was the emotional discipline. Skye is not written as a victim waiting to be rescued. She has pride, brains, boundaries, and a spine of steel. Joon-seo has power, yes, but he has to earn every inch of her trust, and the book makes him work for it. The contract-marriage trope felt fresh here because it wasn’t cute or easy. It was strategic, tense, messy, and deeply emotional. Add the family politics, the racial and class pressure, the mother-daughter bond, and that satisfying slow shift from arrangement to real love, and yeah, this one delivered.
The Apology Wife is one of those romances that understands the difference between chemistry and emotional weight. It gives you both. The attraction is there, the heat is real, but the thing that stayed with me was the respect. Skye’s dignity is never treated like a small thing. Joon-seo’s apology is not magic, and the story never pretends it is. He doesn’t get redeemed because he’s rich or powerful. He gets redeemed because he changes, listens, protects, and shows up consistently. I also loved that the book stayed grounded in bigger stakes: illness, caregiving, media cruelty, family legacy, race, and class. This wasn’t fluff. It was sexy, sharp, and emotionally earned.
Great story! Never a dull moment, hard to put down! I love the meeting of the two! I love stories of different cultures and finding that we are more, alike than different! Money does not make a man or a woman! Decency and respect wins every time! I love the two Korean women in the story, but did not understand why the grandmother was not in Korea with her husband! Oh well I guess I missed that! But I enjoyed this new, author books! I think this was my second one by this author! I will be reading more of her books!
This is an awesome story that began with a horrible accident. As the story unfolds , two people from opposite sides of the world and society find each other. Out of pain came a the transfer of legacy. It has some very rough parts, but love helps them to overcome. This is a fabulous read. Loved it from start to finish.
This had all my “feelings hitting at full throttle. Skye and Jon-see were perfect pieces of balance and collaboration. It is so true you can’t pick your family, Lawd knows I would have Day One….LOL
This had me and totally enjoyed the roller coaster ride of emotions.
A very good read, told with depth and layered. Enjoyable realistic storytelling with full engaging believable characters. Had you fuming and cheering them on at the same time. I was drawn in, the pages turning themselves. I recommend.
