A hurt/comfort romance that’s sugar and spice and three times the nice for a later-in-life heroine in desperate need of her own Beary Fresh Start.
Vacant Little Thing.
That's what I became to survive my abusive marriage. Empty. Compliant. Subservient.
I escaped once. Sent my ex to prison, got the divorce, rebuilt my life, and my relationship with my daughters. Then he got out of prison and found me.
I took him back. Happily.
At least, that's what I told my daughters. They think I've lost my mind, choosing to return to a toxic relationship. They don't know I'm trapped again, protecting them the only way I know how. By staying silent. By disappearing into myself. By abandoning all hope of ever escaping again.
Until him.
Actually… until them: a grumpy smokejumper with burning blue eyes that see through every convenient lie I tell, a retired Mountie who quietly gets to fixing anything that's broken—even if it's me, and an erudite teacher who makes me remember all the things I wanted for myself before my ex came along.
I'm fifty-six years old, but maybe it's not too late for a Beary Fresh Start after all.
Welcome to Bear Mountain, where the males mate in threes, aren't afraid to call you "good girl" even though you're a fully grown woman, and will die before they let anything—or anyone—ever hurt you again.

very sexy. Bell went from a very traumatic relationship into sexy, romantic and a very patient one. it was nice to read about an older, more patient romance between this polycule. three men who gave her time and space to heal. treated her mind, body and heart carefully. allowed all of her, time for healing. these three provided something different that she needed and realized that she desired. that she had grown to love. to need. her relationships healed with her daughters. she had regained her family after meeting Boone, who was the one to catapult this whole situation. and what a sexy situation. loved it.
Another winner from Ms. TT! This go around, we have Bell, Holly's and Noelle's mom, in the picture, along with older maul dads and uncle. Bell is swept into Bear Mountain escaping from abuse which has taken a toll on her. It's now the job of Boone, Ravik, and Zion to show her she's indeed worthy of an all- embracing love. This story had all the feels! Hot action and chemistry, with a healthy dose of laughter. Definitely swoonworthy! I was expecting more at the end though, since there were some unanswered items. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this book!
Finally reading a happy ending for Bell after fearing for her wellbeing was so rewarding. She deserved a true love and her maul having a second chance at happiness felt restorative. I love this authors writing, her characters have so much spirit, effortlessly endearing and the story is captivating as always. I’m not ready to leave Bear Mountain, but here’s to hoping/praying that the future holds more dark why~choose stories in Outer Limits.
She never fails to delivery a good read but in this story my heart broke because I need a part 2 to see if Bell mate bite with her bears and did she ever tell them about the paper with the banking information on it she found in her coat. I need to know please put out a book 2 because I feel there is more to the story that needs to be told. But all in all love the book.!
The characters in this story are 50+ which I enjoyed. It was nice finally meeting Noelle amd Holly's mom Bell. The connection made between the men and Belle was what EVERYONE needed. The other characters appearing brings this full circle and showed family takes care of family..ALWAYS!! This is an ARC Review.
By far one of my top TT reads! I know I will be re-reading. My one little gripe is I wish the ending was a little longer with the wrap up but that’s just because I wanted more of these characters.
Another great instalment in this series. Mrs Taylor just it out the park again. Excellent storytelling with full enjoyable characters. I recommend if you have not already what are you waiting for 😉.
This was a good read but not as good as the previous. I knew Bell needed help but it alot. I know how it feel to emotional abuse and how to shut down. My kids was my strength. I wanted to see her stronger and her to bite her maul.
This later in life romance book was a good read. The why choose trope and spice was done just right. It had all the feels from low self worth to redemption, that love and patience can bring healing.
