The Single Dad is Beckett LeBlanc and Piper Dawson’s story, and it is a fitting, heartfelt goodbye to the LeBlanc Brothers series. Bittersweet in the best way, this book pulled me in quickly and kept me there with its warmth, charm, and emotional depth. Beckett and Piper’s journey is equal parts fun, steamy, and deeply tender.
Piper has been trying to land a meeting with Beckett to pitch her marketing ideas, and when she finally gets her chance, everything derails. Beckett’s life has just been turned upside down after discovering he has a newborn daughter from a one night stand. Overnight, the infamous playboy CEO is forced to grow up fast. Sleep deprived, overwhelmed, and completely smitten with his baby girl, Beckett is learning how to balance fatherhood, family, and a demanding career.
Watching Beckett step into his role as a father was so sweet. His transformation from carefree flirt to devoted dad felt genuine and swoon-worthy. His love for his daughter is immediate and all consuming, and seeing how protective and gentle he becomes added so much heart. Piper is the perfect match for him. She is driven, sharp, and confident, with a fire that keeps Beckett on his toes. As she begins to see past his reputation and distraction, their connection grows into something real and deeply satisfying.
The LeBlancs are great as always, offering humor, support, and plenty of nosy commentary. Their bond is what elevates the entire series, and it was especially touching to see them rally around Beckett and his daughter. The banter, loyalty, and love between them make this world feel full and lived in.
The romance between Beckett and Piper builds naturally through shared moments, second chances, and mutual respect. There is plenty of spice too, but it doesn't dominate the romance. Piper’s bond with Beckett’s daughter adds another layer of sweetness, and watching their little family take shape was just so cute.
The audio narration by Dane Anderson and Rose Dioro brings everything to life beautifully. The chemistry, humor, and emotion all come through, definitely an easy and enjoyable listen.
All in all, a great finale that leaves the heart full!
