3.5 stars. While this was entertaining, and a good break from my usual reads, it was too similar to the plot in Twilight. It did have it's moments and for the most part I did like the MMCs and side characters. It was nice to read an obsessive, touch her and die story. Overall it was good. But just picture Twilight without the wolves, with vampires also riding motorcycles and running an MC 😆. Lucien was hot though.

I’ve absolutely frigging loved the latest offering from one of my favourite authors. This combines one of my absolute favourite tropes with another I love but don’t read nearly enough of - MC and Vampires.

This is the first in a new series, The Crimson Covenant MC and is jam packed full with twists and turns and the authors trademark dark humour which I love, I couldn’t stop cackling at the banter and one liners.

This is Evelynn and Lucian’s story. She’s human, he’s a vampire and the president of the Crimson Covenant MC. I loved the push and pull between them, their connection was undeniable. They don’t start out conventionally and I loved seeing their walls come down with each other. I loved the side characters especially Hex, Clutch and Cain.

The story itself is well written, fast paced and I absolutely devoured it in one sitting. As always Lauren has exceeded my already high expectations and smashed out another brilliant story.

Overall an amazing start to a new series and I cannot wait to read more.

Evelynn and Lucian were one heck of a ride. I’ve read LG Campbell’s other series and this one is a much different take from them. In this book we’ve got vampires, covens, vampire laws and prophecies all in a quick read story. I loved all the characters and how we got introduced to multiple club members my favorites so far are Cain, Clutch and Hex. But Evelynn and Lucian’s story was full of twists and turns, I wasn’t sure what was to come next. Evelynn finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time after joining her friend for a party in which she meets Lucian for the first time. And even though their first meeting isn’t butterflies and rainbows I loved their growth and the building of their relationship through the rest of the story :) I can’t wait to see what happens next.

4 ⭐️ This was one interesting ride for sure . This took the vampire romance concept to a new level of interesting . I for one am not a huge fan of vampire romances , something about the way they are written usually gives me the creeps but it was honestly a very subtlety written in this one . I was able to enjoy the story line and all the side characters. Evelynn and Lucian face plot twist that kept me engaged and interested . This was wrong place at the wrong time, and gives off a very rough bumpy start . The characters have great development and growth in such a short read , and the side characters give me high hopes for the rest of the series . I can’t wait to read about Clutch and Hex , let’s not forget Cain as well.

This book feels like the ultimate daydream come true, encapsulating my teenage fascination with Vampires and mixing it with my adult love for dark romance and bikers. We jump right into the excitement of it all, learning about rival clubs and experiencing some wild fever-dream-fuel situations! The plot keeps a steady pace, and the characters are introduced effortlessly as the story progresses. I feel like although there were many names to learn, I became familiar with the individual personalities of each member quickly. LG Campbell writes life into the undead; the blood of the Crimson Covenant is stronger than the water of the womb, and I cannot wait to see the bonds of the MC's brotherhood as the series comes into creation by this amazing author.

Just as I was looking for another book to read, craving a Vampire series, LG Campbell drops this amazing introduction to the Crimson Covenant MC! She mixed the familiarity of the MC genre with the fantasy of Vampire society and the tension of their careful laws and restrictions. The whole book was a whirlwind, with constant plot movement and story progression, never a dull or slow moment. Although the main characters are Evelynn & Lucian, I already love the other MC members from the time we have spent alongside them in their Covenant; I could go on and on about each of the members, but I don't want to spoil anything for my fellow readers. I cannot wait to see where this series leads, and I'm looking forward to learning more about the world of Kept In Crimson!

I loved it couldn't put it down i laugh, cried and gasp through it love how not only Twilight was mention but also What we do in the shadows love both of the movie and show love how strong Evelynn was u i love how she got pissed off at her friend Suzie and she threaten to cut off the head of her Harry Styles doll lol i laugh so hard love how she was scared but didin't take crap from anyone man on man i will have to say Lucian is my fave book boyfriend i don't know if anyone can top him this is my fave book of 2026 i know its going 2 be a re read can't wait to the next book this is one of my go to authors love her mc books

Well that just happened!!
Another wild MC ride from this lady….this time with the added blood and strength of vampires! I’m so pleased to say though that there is still the great banter and humour along with the strong, feisty females.

I was a bit sceptical going into this but was very quickly pulled into the story of Lucian and Evelynn. I think these vampires are going to be a fun ride!
Some interesting twists and some tongue in cheek references to vampire myth which made me chuckle along with the hint at a new bigger force to face for the coven.
Who’s next…? There are a few who intrigue me and their back stories could be interesting…!

It was supposed to be a party, but Evelynn finds herself entangled in utter chaos and mayhem. She wakes up in the heart of Crimson Convent MC with the charismatic President Lucian keeping a very close eye on her.

I love everything that Lauren writes and this new series is everything I expected and more. MC and Vampires with other PNR blended in along with drama, tension, OW interference, banter and some brilliant characters that I can’t wait to get to know better as the series unfolds. 5 HUGE stars.

This book dragged for me. The vampires feed by killing people. Usually bad guys.

She went to a biker party and everyone died except her. They wanted to question her. She doesn't know anything.

She eventually is told they are vampires and freaks out. He decides he wants her but the laws are he has to turn her or kill her.

She was raised by an angel during her childhood but tells them she is not religious. It came out of nowhere and I was surprised.

Then a female vampire shows up and he kisses her so she will stop being jealous of the heroine.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I absolutely loved it. Outlaw bikers who are also vampires make for quite an interesting story. The author's writing style brought her characters to life, even though most of them are monsters. The witty banter between the characters was great. I found myself fully engrossed in this one and reading well into the early morning hours. I couldn't put it down. I'm definitely looking forward to reading more in this series and more by this author.

"you gave yourself to a monster" - Evelynn absolutely did, but my god Lucian is everything.

My heart literally broke in two during this book, the romance, the quotes, the sacrifices and the love. It was beautiful!

If you loved Sons of anarchy, vampire diaries, twilight.. you will absolutely devoure this book. Its definitely the authors best writing yet, praying there's more to come!

I went in to this with an open mind as I haven't read a vampire book since twilight. I was not disappointed! Evelynn goes through alot after being captured by Lucian but slowly they break each other's walls down. I love them already but especially Clutch and Cain. 100% recommend.

What a way to start a series! I absolutely LOVED this book. It incorporated two of my favourite reads, vampires and MC. I finished it quite quickly because I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!

It's packed full of drama and spice with some cracking one liners and banter. A fantastic start to a new world and series! Bring on book 2!

This paranormal MC romance is all vampires. I’ve never actually read a MC romance like this before and it was alluring, no pun intended.

I really love the dynamic. The fact that there’s intrigue, chemistry and witty banter littered throughout.

The chemistry is well written, and the burn is worth the wait.
