I never expect to FEEL so much for Novas characters, but Albie specifically really had me all up in my feelings. I’m so proud of him for going after what he wanted, and I’m so proud of him for becoming and embracing who he was always destined to be. I hope these two live a long happy life together with their babies 🥹🩵

Nova once again nails an omegaverse story. This was one adorable novella with two adorable blood brothers who were very hot together. I loved the plot about a beta who didn't feel like one and took matters in his own hands to become an omega. One of the things I like the most in the OV universe is how we can have parallels to important political things from real life in a context that shows it all from a new perspective. Sometimes this distance is what people need to finally understand some matters. You have to suspend reality about the entire physiological transformation that happens due to a single medicine, but that's not hard at all. The message is way more important, and for the length of the story, there wasn't really a need to dive more into that aspect.

I really loved Albie and Keane, both individually and as a couple. Love how the mating worked and their inner omega/alpha yelling at them to see what was right in front of them haha This is a really lovely story that I recommend to anyone who likes omegaverse and sweet taboo.

Nova did it again!!!

Honestly, Nova's writing and omegaverse is like a match made in heaven for me. It’s done so WELL. I loved Albie and Keane from the start. Yes, the spice was fantastic (as always) but their story also made me super emotional, especially during the epilogue.

I highly recommend if you're a fan of taboo omegaverse! 😈

I went into this expecting taboo, heat-driven chaos and filthy, over-the-top mpreg energy...and yes, it absolutely delivered on that front. It's hot. It's intense. It does not hold back.

And Keane? The soft, protective alpha energy in this book is EVERYTHING. I really really liked this book. It made me feel SO many things. I felt their connection, their chemistry… it was so strong that I couldn’t stop smiling most of the time.

You could feel how much they wanted to be together and how long they’d been struggling with those feelings, even tho we only got a few moments of it. And I actually loved that.

I loved the side characters too. They were all so cute.

That epilogue?? Yeah… it had me tearing up. It was so fucking cute and kinda sad, but not sad in a bad way. I was literally sobbing bc omg… it was just so… I don’t even know what word to use. Maybe refreshing? Like it felt so good to see that happen bc I was waiting for it. I wanted it so bad, and I just wanted them all to be happy.

I don’t wanna say what it is bc no spoilers, but yeah… that ending. I wouldn’t say it was unexpected bc I had a feeling it was gonna happen, but I’m so happy it did. And the fact that I still felt THAT much while reading it?? Yeah.

They’re both amazing. I love that they can both be dominant and submissive and just switch whenever they feel like it. I love that they didn’t care about what anyone else thought. They just knew they needed to be together, and honestly… how could they not? You wait your whole life to find your person, your mate, and then just walk away? Yeah, no.

So I love that they chose each other anyway, went against everything, and still ended up getting the support they needed.

And yeah, this isn’t gonna be for everyone, but who cares. I’ve been loving Omegaverse books lately, and this just confirmed it again.

Also, I loved that page at the beginning… I think it’s the dedication page? Not 100% sure what it’s called lol, but the message there?? I loved it. It was basically about being yourself even when people expect you to be something else, and that just hit. It felt really refreshing.

Overall, yeah… I loved this book. Easy 5⭐️.

I loved Key and Albie, their relationship, how much they care about each other. I love that they tried to hold back but just couldn’t stay away. That’s my thing.

I do wish it was longer, not gonna lie. I wanted more of them. But it didn’t feel rushed or incomplete at all. It felt right. I just didn’t want it to end.

Lowkey wish there was a second book continuing their story. Like Nova, if you ever see this… pls, I need more of them 😭

But yeah, I’m definitely gonna keep reading her books. She’s incredible. I love her writing, I love the nicknames, I loved everything that happened here.

What do you do when fate decides that your brother is more than that?

Becoming My Brother's Omega was a really nice surprise for me to be honest. I expected the smut, no surprise here, but what I did not expect was for this book to be this full of emotions as well.

Albie has struggled with his Beta identity for a long time... he suffered in silence, and had to live life like everything was ok when things were definitely not. All his life he dreamed of being an Omega, having babies, being someone's mate. This was his innermost desire... until one day he decided to take fate in his own hands and change his destiny. What he did not expect was for his brother to be the mate he was searching for, waiting for.

Keane has been in love with Albie for a long time. He knows it is wrong, he knows he needs to walk away, but how can he when his Alpha let's him know the mate he was looking for has always been by his side? Keane is hurting, but when the opportunity arises to have Albie he decides to give it a try because this is what his heart always longed for.

It is nice to see them go from being family to becoming a family, and I loved how genuine their feelings for each other were. They knew society would look down on them, but, as I said in the beginning what do you do when fate decides that your brother is more than that? Both of them were searching for something they could've missed if Albie didn't become an Omega, and while tab00, the society they live into is not a stranger to brothers becoming mates since biology is at work, not a personal choice ( in the first place or for the most part ).

This was such a sweet story. I enjoyed the framing of Albie’s struggles with his identity in the form of his designation. I hope that bit of fantasy will help put this genuine struggle in a context that is not met with a harsh emotional response. He’s just a man who knows in his heart that he’s an Omega, so he takes steps to make it reality. 🥹

Yes, this is a spicy erotic novella, but set this story apart was the identity struggles Albie was so transparent about. From the beginning, we (the reader) were able to feel his sadness at the possibility of staying a Beta and his happiness when he “officially” became an Omega.

Even with the serious theme, it was still such a cute read. Albie nesting in the background of a pickup truck without even realizing it was so adorable 🤭 I loved how Keane was so determined to make Albie’s first heat as comfortable as possible.

This was just a fun, spicy novella and I really enjoyed it.

🖤 Nova! I was not expecting to be hot and bothered one second and sobbing the next, but here we are. I absolutely loved these two. I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, they are absolutely perfect. I related to Albie so much, it made me so happy when he was met with nothing but love and understanding when he finally told the important people around him, just like I was. When I read the ending and realized his vision came true, I was beyond happy and excited for them both. That ending had me in tears, it was everything they deserved and more. Oh and don’t get me started on the name they chose for one of the babies🥹😭.

Fortunately for Albie, the drug works, and he finally experiences his first heat. Unfortunately, he and his brother are trapped for the weekend in the auto shop where Keane works. What's an alpha to do with a needy omega in heat, even if that omega is his brother? And are these feelings the result of heat hormones or is there something real there?

The heat is scorching, but tempered with tenderness and concern. Despite the taboo nature of their relationship, you know these two belong together forever.

I really enjoyed this book so much! I loved the way the author wrote about the transition from beta to omega, I thought it was done really well in the sense of him not feeling like he was born the correct way.
I love that he was such a bossy bottom, because you don’t stop being a big brother just because baby bro is knotting you 😂
This is the first omegaverse that I’ve read, that we actually read about the birthing process (maybe I just need to read more). That did take me a min to decide how I felt about that.
From fisting to delivery is something new for me 😂😂

There hasn't been a Burns book I have read that I didn't like! This one is no different! I loved the fact that Albie transitioned from an beta to an omega, we got a slight glance of that journey, and how it came full force when he went to see him brother and that through him into his first heat!
I liked the emotional sides of this book too!! The glimpse into the future was so adorable!
And that ending brought was so sickeningly sweet!

If you’re going to write an incest story, it needs to feel believable. Right now, the brotherly dynamic doesn’t come through, and there’s a lack of tension. Albie thinks his brother hates him, but instead of exploring that through conversation with Keane, the story rushes straight into them having sex. Keane calling him “baby” during his first heat also feels unconvincing. Everything progresses far too quickly. With more emotional buildup and stronger tension between the characters, this could have been much more effective.

Nothing but the best from Nova! I absolutely loved Albie and Keane. This story was spicy, the chemistry was off the charts, and the tender moments were beautiful. But the most special part was the story & the unconditional love & acceptance Keane had for Albie. The epilogue had me in tears.
I went from laughing, to checking over my shoulder that no one could see the smut I was reading, to crying. I honestly don’t know how Nova does it, but they always manage to bring out so many emotions through their writing. Nova is quickly making omegaverse one of my favourite subgenres.

Another deliciously short smutty and taboo read by Nova Burns. This time set in the Omegaverse so also some fun mpreg.
This story follows Albie the beta who wants to become an Omega, find his Alpha mate and have a lot of babies. He’s taking medication to activate his dormant Omega genes when low and behold his first heat starts when he's locked in a garage with his younger Alpha brother Keane. Let the smutty chaos ensue. Overall it was a fun, spicy time

Ok I knew this book would be kinky and filthy, filled with smut but I wasn't expecting it to hit me emotionally as well! This was a sweet and emotional journey for one brother recognizing who he wants to be. I loved how his brother supported him. The spice was spicing hard as always 🥵🥵🥵. This author writes the best smut period 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The epilogue had me in my feels and seeing them with their little family was everything! I can't wait for more stories from this author 🥰.

I will admit that I didn’t read the blurb. I saw Nona Burns and Mpreg and clicked buy.

What I got was even better than I expected! I love that this is like an omegaverse version of a trans MC. It was done beautifully! Very spicy. Sweet MCs. Diverse dynamics. Redemption. And an epilogue that makes you cry. Such a read!

I liked the spice and the premise of the story. Also really liked their chemistry together and the HEA. I didn't click with the pair of them as much as I wanted to though (through no fault of the writing) so I've had to drop a star. Still a good taboo mm story though.
