The book explains how in our mind, we should recognise that; There is what your mind is doing to you (internal chatter), and what the world is doing to you (external chatter). I can see how my mind is just one big mental clutter, very busy and all thoughts mixed in one big “storm”, I do go to bed very tired of being sooo busy but thinking what have I actually achived, like my brain is running a load of apps with unresolved worries, but I don’t get the important one done. This is where I will think about the “switching cost” and It was also interesting to open up my “mental closet”. I had fun trying to note how many times my mind wondered in a short period of time. I look forward to using some of the tools from this book to slow down my mind, my internal and external chatter and noise. This I will do by Mono-tasking, with an anchor.
