Wow what a great suspenseful and thrilling murder story loved the main character Harper who wakes up in her mothers house with blood on her but she can't remember how she got there.

When her friend Grant turns up who is a detective both Grant and Harper start to investigate murders of Olivia, Amy and Harpers mother Mary and the evidence points to a cover up from Officer Burke and the mayor Talbot and Dr shaw.

The tension builds as Harper and Grant uncover more secrets with a nail biting ending.

Would highly recommend.

I just finished reading Redacted by Skye Arden and it was a book you hold your breath while reading. The twists and turns of Harper Ellison and the people she meets along with Grant an Detective with the Town Police Department. In a town she grew up in that didn't feel safe or comfortable any longer.

Why did so many women go missing? Why can't Harper put it all together. Then like the reporter she is, she begins to investigate. In the middle of it all is her mother, Mary who went missing when Harper was 8.

Will Harper get to the bottom of it all even with help or will the towns secrets bury her.

This book kept my heart racing!! Small town truths hidden. A sheriff who is more than what he appears to be. A mayor that hides in plain sight. All of this intertwines with a reporter that has to bring the truth to light. I kept wondering if it was worth it!! Sometimes people’s minds rewrite stories to answers that are more acceptable. The only thing acceptable to this reporter is the truth!! This suspense book is a must read!!

I can just say, that surely was another great, twisty and suspenseful thriller by Skye Arden!

Poor Harper, waking up with her mother being dead and she having blood on her hands and not being able to remember what happened. While the thought alone - not being able to remember something - makes me die a small death inside, I love this trope in a thriller any day! My heart was beating in my throat the whole time while reading! very well done!.

This narrative captivated my attention as I sought to uncover the unfolding events. I particularly admired Harper's resolve in investigating the disappearance of several women, including her mother. Her commitment as a reporter led her to delve deeply into the town's hidden truths, undeterred by its secrets.

I consistently enjoy Sky Arden's literary works and eagerly anticipate opportunities to participate as an ARC reviewer. Her storytelling consistently delivers, and I am confident that her narratives will similarly engage other readers.

A twisted adrenaline-fueled story with jaw dropping discoveries that keeps readers on the edge from beginning to end. Harper is an investigative journalist with gaps in her memory after returning home which only spurs her on more to find answers to her mother's disappearance. Every time I tried to put this book down Harper would find another piece of evidence that pointed to the corruption of officials and I'd tell myself just one more chapter till I had the book read.

This is the first book by Skye Arden that I have read. I enjoyed her writing as she has a nice way to phrase sentences, and her descriptions are especially well done. I must admit that I had a tough time following the story at first, but once I got into the book, it became one of those that grabs your attention. I often found myself saying “one more chapter and then I’ll stop.” If you enjoy mysteries, Redacted should be a book you’ll enjoy.

Harper Ellison is pretty sure someone has been inside her head. Her mother disappeared years ago and there was to many secrets

She wants the records but the paperwork matches the gaps where the truth should be

Her childhood friend/ Detective warns its dangerous she starts having flashes of memory of a metal door, river mud a silver locket that isn’t hers.

A small town with a sheriff and mayor that get rid of trouble in their books. Harper Ellison is an investigative journalist whose mother disappeared years ago. Harper is finding a number of things that put her in danger. This novel held my interest and kept me wanting to find out what was going to happen.

Harper meets a towns corruption, the city is filled with lies, fear, and distrust. A fast paced tale that keeps you riveted. Characters are distinctly drawn. Twists to steer you n all directions.

A well written thriller with good characters. Disappearances, twists and a town that takes whatever action is necessary to hide secrets, tamper with evidence and protect themselves whatever the cost. I liked the way it intricately unravelled to finally reveal the truth. Recommended. I received a complimentary copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a great thriller by Skye Arden. It’s a story about missing memories, missing people and missing “redacted” documentation. It’s personal for our FMC Harper. The small town secrets kept coming out and things get twisted. It was a good read.
