An amazing novel about a difficult but beautiful relationship

I have read novels that I liked but few that I've truly loved. This is my first novel by this author and I can honestly say she's now in my top 10 authors I've ever read. I anxiously await the next book.

For this novel there are a few predictable areas but overall the developments are one surprise after another. The character development is complete and well written. I can truly picture the people upon the pages. The plot was well laid out coming to the necessary end with thrilling twists and turns.

Despite all the different characters, drama, and suspense this novel is about a relationship. I won't reveal details but this novel is spicy and delightful. I sincerely hope the series will continue and bring back some of characters as lead protagonists in their own right.

I'm on to book two as you should be!

This is good!

When Skylar runs…. She’s running away from a life she never wanted and to one she never expected. When she meets her husband, she doesn’t know who he is, and her claim to be Lady Douglas gets her into a bit of trouble.

Set in the west in the days of war and the gold rush, Heather Graham has crafted a wonderful tale of danger and misunderstanding that captured my attention from the very beginning! My attention did not wane for a moment either.. I loved reading this book. The history in it intriguing and the characters are well written and made me want to know about who they are and what happens to them!!

I recommend this highly!!

Another amazing series begins!

Heather Graham has started another amazing series, setting the stage for sequels in this captivating novel of Sioux and American rivalry, and pulled in Scottish ties as well…setting the stage for the next read in Scotland. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book! If you enjoyed any of Heather Grahams historical romances, but in particular her Florida series novels, you will absolutely love this one!

No Other Man by Heather Graham

I've read Heather's civil war books. She's very knowledgeable of history. This is a surprise with her knowledge of The Sioux and Crow Tribes.
