Great love stories and pallet cleansers

These are great romances if you’re in a slump of smut marketed as romance. Not epic by any means lol but I super enjoyed them. I can see my self randomly picking a book out of this series to reread all year and in the years to come.

After reading and enjoying the first two books I was sadly disappointed with this one. Too many cliches and too many repetitive lines. I found the fae king very disappointing almost meek. I really didn’t feel any chemistry with these two. Since I did enjoy the first two I’m hoping the next book will be good.

Sasha is one extraordinary woman! She’s serious, responsible and always focused, often seeing things others miss. I just loved how her mind works. Even more, Sasha is kind, caring and compassionate. This strategic witch is one lovely woman and I loved her so, so much!

And then, there’s Dominic - king of the Fae. At first glance he seems mischievous and frivolous, but there’s more to him than meets the eye. Because underneath his glittering facade is a generous, caring and thoughtful male who’s a capable leader willing to do everything to see his people thrive. Dominic is an incredible, charming and absolutely irresistible male and I couldn’t help but love every single thing about him!

I absolutely loved everything that happened between Sasha and Dominic! Grandma Elizabeth makes yet another match to strengthen the borders of their realm. Now it’s time for her strategic granddaughter Sasha to marry the Fae King Dominic. But their partnership definitely didn’t start as expected.

I loved Sasha and Dominic together! Despite the bumpy beginning, their chemistry was fantastic and I enjoyed every moment they spent together. Those two just complemented each other so well. Even more, they were an amazing team, working together to solve all the mysteries in the Fae court. And what started as a practical and logical arrangement, soon became something so much more. They needed the time to get to know one another and learn to be vulnerable with each other, but it was all worth it in the end. Sasha and Dominic were absolutely perfect for one another and more than deserved to find happiness and love together.

Overall, Fae it Ain't So is another wonderful addition to the series and I loved every page of it!

2.5 I wanted to like this one, but it had even more issues than the last book. The redundancies just about did me in, I do not know how I managed to finish this reading the same lines over and over and over. It was also very insta-love for me. It would have been nice to see more of their personalities and maybe some bickering or some banter, instead it was him repeating insecurities and saying that he loved her every five seconds and none of it felt earned or believable.

I get kind of frustrated because I really think this one and the last one had potential to be really fun, but the execution was just off. I want to read characters with personality, and I don’t want to read the same thing said five ways over the course of one single page. At one point the dialogue was literally copy and paste from the last similar scene and I really don’t know what to do with that. These books really need a good edit. The one thing I did really like was Savory, but I have to wonder at the name- why was she named Savory? It makes me think they’re going to try to eat her or something.

Fae it Ain’t So by Ava Ross is the third installment in the wonderful Witchfully Wed series. It is a cozy romance/mystery with a slow burn and lots of chemistry. To further strengthen the borders of the realm, Grandma Elizabeth has arranged the marriage of her serious, strategy witch granddaughter to the Fae King. An unlikely match or maybe the perfect one? Sasha is the serious, responsible older sister, but is also compassionate and caring. Along with being a strategy witch, she is also a strong plant witch, though at first, doesn’t truly use the ability. Dominic at first glance seems frivolous and charming, but has a depth of character with his own thoughtful nature. When they drop their walls and open themselves up to each other, nothing short of magic is revealed!

This was another fun read for the series and Grandmother Elizabeth is now on her third spell to save the kingdom by marrying her granddaughter, Sasha, to Fae King, Dominic. This is a cozy read with mystery and instalove woven through it. I loved seeing Dominic open up to show Sasha his real self and he certainly wasn't the shallow fellow he seemed. And her unused plant magic came in real handy to help sort things out. I really enjoyed the humour in this one and love that they got their HEA. Good fun!

Part of the Witchfully Wed series, Fae It Ain't So by Ava Ross is a delight. Grandmother Elizabeth is on her third spell created to save the kingdom by blending witches to the four kingdoms. This time Fae King Dominic is matched to Sasha, a plant witch. Their union is able to overcome an inadvertent spell that threatens to kill all plant life infused with emotion. Love the unique characters and the way each couple in the series is able to meld together for the good of all.

I have loved everyone of the witchfully wed books. We have a grandmother who will do just about everything for her granddaughters. Meddlesome maybe but her creations are very fruitful especially when the timing is right.

I must admit though that this one had been convinced who the saboteur may have been. Unfortunately I was wrong every time 🤣

I did think that it did go on a tad to long but I loved it anyway 💜💜

And maybe it is just me. This book went around and around. For a kingdom of magic beings it was glaring obvious that this plot was off. Did not seem realistic that they would not be able to have a magic tracer that can follow trail. Or one that would not know how to dismantle the crystals. As well leave real traps around it. I can go on. Felt like author did not like it either but stuck to storyline.

Kingdom Actually Killed by Boredom, news at eleven. So far the second book has been the highlight, and that was riddled with continuity errors. But at least some chemistry. I felt like I was watching two participants on Antiques Roadshow negotiate touching pinkies for twelve hours reading this.

In book three Elizabeth has made another match with one of her Granddaughters to strengthen the borders of their world. Sasha, who's a strategy witch, is marrying Dominic the Fae king. She doesn't expect a love match but as she and Dominic try to solve not one but two mysteries their affections for each other grows. Good mystery romance.
