Paw Print Murder is a cozy mystery that delivers exactly what you’d hope for—charm, intrigue, and just the right amount of suspense to keep you turning the pages. Karen Charles does a great job creating a warm, small-town atmosphere that feels inviting while still holding onto the tension of a murder investigation.
One of the standout elements for me was the role of the animals in the story. The paw prints aren’t just a clever title—they actually play an interesting part in how the mystery unfolds, which added a fun and unique twist. The main character is likable and relatable, making it easy to get invested in both her personal life and her determination to solve the case.
The Paw Print Murder was a totally awesome book. It has so much excitement and keeps you from putting the book down. It’s got great characters and an awesome story line. I would recommend to anyone to read this book.
fun book good characters, love the cats, I would have read more of the second book but I only had the little bit at the end of my book and it didn't give me a link to get it.
A mystery to keep you turning pages until the very end!
This cozy mystery piqued my interest the moment I saw the title, but I never expected a murder to take place at a cat show competition. In this second book of the Becca Flynn Mystery series, The Paw Print Murder, the intrigue begins when a show cat goes missing but quickly immerses the reader into multiple complex relationships of the characters, finally culminating into a drama-filled murder mystery. The author’s talent at creating multi-faceted and diverse characters in such clever ways enhances this story’s lure and forces the reader to believe that any one of them could be the murderer. I really enjoyed this entertaining murder mystery, and especially near the end, where the suspense ratcheted up even more.
Well, how do you top your first book in he Becca Flynn Myster Series? Start by doing what was right in the first book, Murder In Plein Air. One, develop your returning characters and add new interesting players. Two, continue to build on the drama in Baileys Landing with suspense that builds up to the very end. And three, put the reader right in the middle of the action, feeling the climax. I am sure that Karen Leigh Charles will continue to meet our high expectations in future books in the series. She has done it already with this one. And for fun characters and furry fiend lovers, The Paw Print Murder, is so dang cute!
