Listened to an advance audio copy from @librofm. Limitless is 80% an endurance sport memoir, 20% a how-to guide. Hutchcraft is an engaging storyteller and the story of his swim/bike/run from the coast of England to the summit of Everest is strong enough to stand on its own as an adventure story. Hutchcraft builds on this foundation with tips for anyone contemplating an adventure of their own. Between the details of his ADHD childhood to exactly what happened to his tongue on his channel swim, this memoir will stick with me.
I picked this book up at the airport as something to read on holiday. Not my normal choice of book, but thought it might be interesting. I am currently 3/4 of the way through it, and I can’t put it down. So, so interesting and inspiring. If you want a book that encourages you to review your perspective of the world, your place in it as well as the awe inspiring journey that this man went on, just buy this book and enjoy the rollercoaster.
