Late Learner

by Ciara Geraghty

Ronda's a dreamer. But can she learn to conquer the real world? Ronda McCann lives a quiet, careful life. She cycles to her job as a care assistant in a nursing home from her childhood home, where she lives with her widowed mother, Annie, after a failed relationship. But Ronda has a rich fantasy life. In her imagination she is brave, assertive, respected and admired - much like her sister Margo, a successful working mother and wife. However, there's no place for a chronic day-dreamer in Margo's world. Ronda is flung out of her dream world when her sister insists that she learn to drive. Over the course of 12 lessons, Ronda will discover what she's made of, in real life.
