Feral for the Pack's Omega: A Reverse Harem Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
An obedient ray of sunshine. Ask anyone to describe me and that’s probably the answer you’ll get.

The only way to avoid punishment in the facility I was raised in is to follow the rules. But I break the biggest I help another omega escape.

I never could’ve imagined my punishment. I’m sold to the Mercer Family Farm. Shipped off in a cage.

My new role? Bait. Feral alpha bait.

I quickly learn that everything I ever knew was a lie. There are no rules here.

Griffin, Ash, and Rage. Three feral alphas who should tear me apart on sight. Three alphas I have to tame if I want to survive. But I’m the newest weapon meant to control them.

Rowan is the only one who isn’t a threat. He’s an insecure beta, the son of the man who bought me. And the first person to ever show me kindness.

Wrapped up in the underground suppressant trade, I find myself drawn to all four of these men. If we want our lives, our freedom, we have to fight for it.

Feral for the Pack’s Omega is an interconnected standalone from the Riverwell Omegaverse Series. While it can be enjoyed on its own, it does contain some spoilers for books earlier in the series. This is a 140k word, slow-burn, non-shifter, omegaverse reverse harem MFMMM romance! It is not intended to be a dark romance, but it does deal with darker themes.

WARNING: THERE WILL FOR SURE, 1000000% BE SPOILERS. BEWARE!

NOTE: This is an ARC review. While I received this ARC from the author, I will always keep my reviews honest and it will not be influencing my thoughts on this read in any way.

LET's GOOOO!

To start with the review, I want to be as clear as possible. I want to explain how I came across this book because yes, I found the book. The author did not find me. 😁

So how did I come across this book?

Well...

Remember how I said I've been finding many of my recent reads on Instagram. Not just by the reviewers, but more by the ads that have been pushed into my feed. Well, I got hooked when I came across a few lines from the book in one of the ads the IG app put on my feed. So, I went straight to the amazon app to buy it, but saw that it wasn't out yet.

A few clicks and scrolls later, and I found myself at the ARC request page.

It was like magic!

Boy was I excited because I hadn't read an ARC since my Shelly Crane and Colleen Hoover book-craze days (in an approximation, that's nearly 8-10 years ago).

Now, what sold me was the summary and the quote that led to the said summary. I liked that it sounded different to what I was seeing in SOOO many Omegaverse stories. For one, it had a normal-ish title. Recently, I've noticed every omegaverse lately has leapt on the 'knotty' title bandwagon. Yes, we get it. We can make a billion different cheeky titles with the 'knotty' word play.

Two, it was interesting to me that she was right off the bat saying that she was an 'obedient ray of sunshine'. That, mixed with the fact that she is shipped off to some farm that is using her to bait feral alphas (which is a new emerging trope within the omegaverse stories), I was hooked.

So, I signed up.

Now, I was a bit worried I wouldn't finish by the deadline, since my schedule has been so hectic, but I also needed to read the book ASAP. So, I went for it. Life's too short, right?

Why Did I Like It?

To put things plainly. IT WAS AMAZING! PERIOD.

I knew I was going to like it, but I really didn't expect to love it. I mean with IG ads its a big give and take. Most of the books they recommend are iffy at best. That's a whole debate on its own though.

From page one to the end (about 425 pages) it was like:

and then something TOTALLY DIFFERENT happens.

Okay, yes, somethings were no brainers. I mean I knew in some way shape or form it was going to turn out that way. But the scenes were just so heavy and so downright...crazy (I mean the author really did not hold back in some ways), that I just didn't think that the author would totally go there.

So, let me explain a bit.

This book is dark. Its not for those who may be triggered by things like kidnapping, or abuse. This was very direct and in your face with a lot of the scenes. What I liked is that the guys had nothing to do with the kidnapping. In fact, they were very much prisoners of this Farm as much as our omega FMC was.

However, everything that happens to the FMC and MMCs is pretty messed up. They are kept in deplorable conditions. They're abuse is a bit graphic, and it got pretty dicey at times.

I don't think it was to the level of what I've read or heard about in other "DARK" troped books, but it was up there. For instance, I think (from what I've heard because I haven't read it), Royals of Forsyth University is worse in the "Dark Reads" section. Corrupt by Penelope Douglas has to be the Darkest book I've read in a while (which is saying a lot because I don't really do dark reads). Its definitely not the darkest that exists in the world of books, but that's my rating scale since I don't really do dark reads anyways.

So long story short, here's how I rate the darkness scale:

Level 5 - Very Descriptive, Doesn't Sugar Coat - Borderline unbearable or Completely Shutting my Eyes.

Level 4- I can read it, but its very creatively descriptive. Author will be more more discrete, but doesn't really hold back.

Level 3 - Its a bit shady, but not as dark. I can read it and not really flinch. Yes, some themes are out there, but holds more of the bare bones of what happens.

Level 2 - More gray than dark, but its still out there.

Level 1 - Some scenes are a bit dark, but its mostly green.

My rating for this book: About a 3.5-4.

The Characters

I really liked the characters. As you guys know (or may not know), I love very well-developed characters that have distinct voices. With Why choose tropes, this can be hard since many of the MMCs can be drown-ed out or carbon copies.

This book was not like that. I think everyone had a very distinct presence and role within the story. For example, the beta (Rowan), he balanced out the Alphas. Despite his weaknesses which haunted him, he was able to be supportive and caring. He was softer and more emotionally stable than the group of them, so he was able to help Mirabelle (FMC), when the Alphas couldn't handle their ferality. Griffin was the second most stable, but he too was pretty distinct. He was more of the logic based one who thought of things the others didn't.

Now, I'll stop there because I don't want to give too much away, but that's the gist of what I thought of the Characters. The other two MMCs (Ash and Rage) were also interesting. I like how their backgrounds and their temperaments really went well with Mira's. She had a very sweet and sunny personality and watching those two really cater to her despite their more protective and growly personality types was so cute.

For example: When Ash literally snaps at Griffin for smirking when he was getting babied by Mira. Being that he was the surliest out of all of the guys made this HILARIOUS! 😍😂

I think there were only two things that struck me as "strange" or that I thought could have been tweaked. It didn't ruin the story though, so please take this with a grain of salt.

1. I thought it was a bit weird at first that most of the girls had dessert scents and the guys had herb scents, unless they were villains. Then they had scents like mold. I thought it would be more interesting if everyone has more variations to their scents. For example, in one of my favorite omegaverse stories, Havoc Killed Her Alpha by Mary Mackay, we see she has a fire in the rain scent. I don't know what that would smell like, but I can imagine it would be nice. Or even floral or citrusy smells can be enticing. Like oranges and chocolate. So, it would have been nice to see variations that weren't so generic. However, that being said I did like the strawberry references that came from the FMC's scent of Strawberry shortcake. It was so cute! I actually started using my strawberry scented essential oils when reading it to get even more into the scenes.

2. I liked that the author didn't just throw them together and they insta-loved or insta-lusted. But it did feel a tiny bit borderline like that at first. Part of it was that they were scent matches so it may have felt that way because I am so used to the more enemies to lovers tropes when it comes to Omegaverse stories. Where this story was more like they were all in between a rock and a hard place and slowly came together into a beautiful relationship. Which was truly a treat to read. I'm not sure if this was well-placed, but it was something I noted when reading.

All in all, this was a fantastic read. I will re-read this book again and maybe a few times more after that.

It was so worth it! Read it if you dare!

Happy reading!

Quotes I LOVED

💕 "Her lemon meringue perfume sours, mixing with my own increasingly bitter strawberry shortcake. We probably smell like a bakery’s rejects that were left out for too long." - Mirabelle 🤣

💕Rowan: "Rules,” he says slowly, spitting out the word through gritted teeth. “Punishments. Facilities. You smiling so fucking big at clouds, for fucks sake.”

...

💕Also Rowan (a few moments later):
“God, you don’t belong in this hellhole—" he says, his voice breaking as he spins around and tucks my head into his chest.

💕Griffin:
He looks ready to shoot back another playful retort before his expression shifts completely, his head jerking towards the door.
“Get behind me,” he growls as he stands to his feet.
“Wh—"
“Now, Mirabelle,” he snaps. “Someone is coming.”

💕 Ash:
Ash stiffens, a growl building up in his chest.
“What’s wrong?”
“Someone’s fucking coming,” he snaps, baring his teeth as he glares at the door.
“How—how can you guys tell these things?” I ask, glancing at the door and seeing nothing.
“Got better senses than you. Now get the fuck up.”

💕 Rage:
They’ve taken things from me, too.
I don’t like the thought of them taking things from her. 🥰

⭐ Review: Feral for the Pack’s Omega by Callie Clark
Feral for the Pack’s Omega is not a gentle read, and I don’t think it’s meant to be. This story is raw, intense, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. It’s a journey marked by struggle, pain, and abuse — but because the darkness runs so deep, the moments of light shine even brighter. I’ll admit it: I was feral for this book and enjoyed every moment of the emotional ride.

⚠️Before diving in, I strongly recommend reading the trigger and content warnings. Your mental well being matters, and this book does not shy away from heavy themes. If you can weather the storms these characters endure, the ending is incredibly sweet and rewarding.
Although this story takes place in an already established world, it works well as a standalone. You’ll see familiar omegas and alphas from previous books, but Clark gives Mira her own space to grow, suffer, and ultimately heal. I’ve only read one other book in the series, and I had no trouble jumping right into this one.

🍓Mira — the heart of the story🍓
We begin with Mira, locked away in an Omega Institution that is anything but safe or nurturing. Something sinister lurks beneath its surface. After consequences from a previous book catch up to her, she’s sold to an Alpha Fighter Farm — and that’s where her new, broken, beautiful pack begins to form.

💕Rowan — the gentle Beta💕
Rowan is the son of the farm’s Alpha, doing everything he can to survive his father and abusive brother. He never wanted the “family business,” but when Mira is thrown at his feet, something shifts. His self esteem is low, but his instinct to protect her becomes the spark that pushes him to grow into the Beta she needs.

🥊The Alphas — each feral in their own way🥊
🫦Griffin, the newcomer, arrives after being sold by his father to settle a debt. He’s fresh enough to still have hope, even as he’s forced into the brutal world of cage fighting.
🫦Ash, the grumpy and perpetually angry Alpha, has been on the farm long enough — and drugged enough — that his guarded, volatile nature makes painful sense. He insists Mira won’t get close… though his heart clearly disagrees.
🫦Rage, the fully feral Alpha, is impossible not to love. Stolen as a child and raised in violence, he’s been pushed so far that he no longer speaks. His world is red and chaotic — until Mira steps into his cage. She becomes his calm, his anchor, his peace.

✨A pack born from survival✨
Under brutal circumstances, this mismatched group forms a bond that feels both fragile and fiercely resilient. Mira’s quiet strength and innocence become the light guiding them all toward hope and healing. Their journey is one of survival — from captivity, from abuse, and from the feral instincts forced upon them.

I highly recommend this book, especially for readers who appreciate dark Omegaverse stories with emotional depth, found family bonds, and characters who fight tooth and nail for their chance at freedom. Just make sure to check those triggers before falling in love with this pack.

Feral for the Pack’s Omega: A Reverse Harem Omegaverse Romance (Riverwell Omegaverse Book 3) by Callie Clark wraps up the interconnected series with a gripping, emotional punch that fans of dark tinged omegaverse will devour.

Mirabelle is a sunshine smiling, rule following omega raised in a repressive facility, obedient on the surface, but with a core of quiet strength. Her act of kindness (helping another omega escape) lands her in brutal punishment…. She’s sold to the Mercer Family Farm as literal bait for three feral alphas (Griffin, Ash, and Rage) who are dangerous, barely controlled, and meant to be tamed (or broken) through her presence.
Griffin is a new addition to the farm, whereas Ash and Rage have been there for years!

Add Rowan, the insecure beta son of her buyer, who offers the first genuine kindness she’s ever known. And we have a story i couldn’t put down!

Mira doesn’t know any better, and only tries to help wherever she can. She’s been brought up knowing only rules and punishment. The alphas that she needed to help aren’t at all happy to see her at first (well Rage was 😜) but with her ability to quietly talk and help calm the alphas, she soon becomes the ultimate prize! And her beta “handler” only wants to keep her safe from the alphas and his sadistic brother!

The story dives into the underground suppressant trade, power imbalances, and a fight for freedom, all while building a slow burn reverse harem (MFMMM) dynamic with these four very different men. There is no M/M in this story, for which I was a little bit sad about, but it’s still a great story.

Traumatised characters who find healing and HEA through found family, hurt/comfort, and intense bonds is the backbone of this story.
The heroine’s “ray of sunshine” personality contrasts beautifully with the feral alphas’ raw edges and Rowan’s vulnerability, creating so much tension.
The slow burn pacing suits the story, we have the time (and pages 😉) to explore all the emotional, trust building, and steamy payoff without rushing the connections.

It’s not outright dark romance, but it tackles heavy themes (trafficking, abuse, control) balancing them against sweeter, protective moments.

The reverse harem is one of my favourite tropes, each alpha (and the beta) gets distinct personality and role, feral protectors vs. the gentle beta adds variety.

If you love non shifter omegaverse with reverse harem, slow burn to explosive heat, a resilient heroine who tames (and is tamed by) her pack, and themes of redemption amid darkness, this delivers.

If you’ve enjoyed the earlier books (like Saving the Pack’s Omega or Claiming the Pack’s Omega), like I did, then this one will tie up any loss ends and have you cheering for our Omega who broke the rules and ended up with a HEA.

Highly recommended for RH omegaverse fans craving more than just heat!

I am sad this series has ended, but that’s what a reread is for 😉

such a satisfying end to a series of heartache!

It is so satisfying to have a happy ending for all of them finally. These hit me hard with all the sexual abuse and physical and mental abuse throughout each book, but despite my issues normally when reading on page abuse of practically any kind, I found this series really really compelling and fantastic to read while also making my heart wrench out of its place! It kept me on the edge of my seat and made me want to keep reading till the end. I still want more of all the mate bonds and even some of the omegas and alphas from the facilities if I’m being honest, because I grew to really love these characters, but at the same time, I think this ending was perfect and tied up all loose strings in a neat bow! I especially love how each of the abusers died violently, well except for the councilman because he went to jail, but thankfully I think he’s likely still suffering from all that came out and so is the dad of Rowan. I especially love that both her and him got to reunite with their parent that was alive and loved them after all the heartache and I only wish that Rage could’ve found his family again and maybe they could’ve regained some memories too, but I’m also kinda happy for them that their memories from a lot of their pain in captivity was lost to their ferality and heats because that trauma on top of what they did remember would’ve just been too much on top of everything else. I had a thought on what if the guy from Luna’s mates that lost his family in the riots had maybe had a brother and it was Rage and he was kidnapped, but maybe that would’ve been too much of a coincidence on top of everything. It would’ve been nice if he had some family too that made it that was good, but I still loved how everything ended and it was really good each book individually but really served well as a whole with the storyline and I’m glad I read the whole thing and not just one! Those are my fav types of series is when they’re each a standalone but the storyline still continues to cross with other characters from previous books and it just all flows naturally together while still being just as good separately! I definitely want to read more from this author if she has more out like this and if not yet then in the future! I hope she continues writing this genre because it was very well written and very thoughtful in its storyline!

Soothing the feral beasts

Oh I absolutely loved this story. Mira is this super sunshine character and its so surprising and beautiful after every thing she has been through. She was in a "center" that was experimenting on omegas. We meet her on the day she is being sold to the farm. She exists this place naked but is absolutely in awe of the sky. Its a beautiful but very sad moment.

Enter the farm which is also not a great place but here she finds companions. First a sweet Beta who is the son of the man who owns the farm. He has not Bern treated well by his brother or family but he immediately asks to take up caring for the omega and training the dogs. This is such a great moment because he is terrified but would do anything to ensure the safety of the strawberry shortcake omega.

I absolutely loved the interactions Mira had with each of the feral Alphas. starting from the least to most feral with similar results. Each man was immediately drawn to her and determined to keep her safe.

Our most feral Alpha was such a teddy bear with her. He didn't speak and was barely functional until this tiny girl walked up and spoke to him like he wasn't broken.

I absolutely loved this new pack dynamics and the way the story came together. They definitely had their struggles but they work so beautifully together.

I loved all the sweet surprises at the end of this story. I love seeing people who deserve love, kindness and hope being able to find that and so much more.

I love Callie's stories. The concept of each book has those little pieces of overlap that bring together this amazing full picture while giving you an Omega finding her pack in a new and unique way.

This is my first Callie Clark book and I'm hooked. I love the omegaverse genre and she absolutely nailed this one. I loved each and every one of these amazing characters and their story. I couldn't get enough of them.

I loved the dynamic between each unique character. The slow-burning tension and build-up were everything leading to a beautiful connection and just the right amount of delicious spice.

Mira is the sweetest, most resilient omega. None of those annoying meek vibes some FMCs give.

Rowen had my heart from the start, he's a Beta and truly a treasure.

Rage, Griffen, and Ash are three feral alphas who will stop at nothing to fight for the happiness of their omega. Griffin gives those golden retriever vibes.
Ash is grumpy but a total protector and mushy for his omega.
Rage the monstrous cinnamon roll, total gentle giant.

All of them combined made a special beautiful pack full of so much love and healing together.

No cheating, bullying, or third-act break-up!

it was a good read. i love this author and had the amazing opportunity to beta read this book. So my version had some minor mistakes. But the book was very good. Some thing where a little cheesy but I like that.

but also the darker themes i didnt know i needed it from this author but I did need it!

The end tho felt a little rushed and I hate that they don't meet the parents. so yeah that's the one star reduction.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

edit: I read the end of the arc and it far better then the beta copies maybe inwould have said 5 stars now but 4,5 definitely

This is everything I wanted in a book! Loved the tropes and the characters. It was heartfelt, suspenseful and fluffy all in one book!

There was definitely some darker themes in the book but all interactions with Mira and her guys were light and fluffy. She got the love she never had and the guys got the love they thought they didn’t deserve.

I loved the character development especially with Mira, Rowan and Rage. I loved seeing them open up and become strong characters.

The sad part for me was that there weren’t more pages! I never wanted it to end! Great book, great characters and great story!

This book was amazing! This was a story I didnt know i needed but it made my heart so happy to read. Mirabelle is sent somewhere new. There she meets Rowan, Ash, Griffin, and my favorite Rage. She soon learns that this place is not as bad as she thought it would be thanks to Rowan. As she deals with both the good and the bad she finds her pack even though she never thought it would lead to that. I would love to read more from this author because this book was amazing.

I loved every bit of this book, even though there were certain situations that were unsettling, especially for poor Mirabelle when around Jett at the Mercer Farm. It was such a compelling and engaging story. I got completely invested in the characters each having wonderful personalities and backstories, you couldn’t help but be intrigued and gripped by each one. I adored Mira's wonder at the world around her, after having no memory of the outside world after being held captive for 15 years within the facility.

I especially loved how her men each found their own rejuvenated will to live and fight once she arrived, and how they all learnt to work together as a team to achieve the goal of surviving, with hopes of one day escaping. The Riverwell Omegaverse series are all fantastic books. I love how you meet the characters from previous books, how they interlock with each other at some point within their own personal stories, and how they drive the stories further, (can be read on their own, but better as a series). I'm completely enamoured with them all and can’t wait for more!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mirabelle knows nothing but rules, keep your head down and be ‘a good girl’, whilst being held at the Facility. That all changes when she helps a new omega (Reyna - bk 2) being held captive, by releasing her restraints. Unbeknown to her, Reynas' bonded mates are circling, which puts Mira in the frame. Mr Sebastian then sells Mira to an ìllėgal underground fighting ring as bate to tame the feral alphas. Now Mira doesn’t understand the world, the rules she lived by don’t make any sense here, she doesn’t understand what she’s done wrong to receive the ill-treatment and harm at the hands of Jett. Luckily, there is a beta here that, for some reason, she feels a connection too, who's trying his best to protect her and keep her out of Jett’s sights. There are also three other extremely large alphas all locked in cages, who she’s told will rįp-her-apart, however that doesn’t seem to be the case. Why does she feel a connection to them also, and how can she protect them whilst protecting herself?

* Mirabelle = forced heats for the underground enhancement ďrůg trade. She’s now bait to tame feral alphas before the farm loses control over them.
- Sweet, thoughtful and protective of those she loves, she always looks for the best in everything.

Rowan is so downtrodden, he hates everything about his life; his father, the family business, and most of all, his awful brother Jett. Then Jett decides to bring in an Omega to help tame the feral alpha before they lose control and obviously has nėfārious intentions towards her. Rowan has this unexpected and bewildering need to protect her, one he doesn’t understand, but one he will strive to achieve even if it puts him in his brother’s way! Now he has to prove to his father he can be something he was adamant he would NEVER be…..a trainer, but if it means he can protect Mira and the fighters, then so be it!

* Rowan = Beta hero, åbůsed within his own family, especially by his brother Jett. Mira completely changes his outlook on life and what the future could hold.
- Sweet cinnamon roll, very protective of Mira and a diamond in the rough.

Each alpha is broken in their own way; ďrůgging, fighting and pain are all they have known. Then this sweet, chatty omega appears, who smells like strawberry cheesecake. For some reason, they immediately feel compelled to protect her, to shield her from any harm she will be exposed to, they just have to learn to work together to survive and wait until the opportune moment……and strike!!

* Griffin = New fighter at the Mercer farm after being sold to them by his father.
- Golden retriever, witty and loves bantering with Mira
* Ash = Trapped on the Mercer farm for many years, it’s only been him and Rage. Then appears a new annoying alpha, along with a fragile, sweet smelling omega who he feels unusually protective of.
- Growly and grumpy, Alpha. Extremely possessive and protective of Mira.
* Rage = The most feral and longest captive, virtually mute, on the brink of losing himself completely. Until Mira is thrown into his cell, now he has a reason to speak and to live again.
- Dangerous hulk of a cinnamon roll, he just wants to be loved and held by Mira. Super soft and gentle, but only for her!

ARC review

If you like your romance with teeth—sharpened, bloodstained, and somehow still capable of the softest kisses—this book will absolutely wreck you in the best way.
At its heart, this is a found-family story… if your “family” consists of emotionally concussed alphas, one fiercely loyal beta, and the sunniest omega ever to survive absolute horror. Rage and Ash have been clawing their way through mental and physical battlefields long before the story begins, and you feel every scar. Garrett’s trying to keep what’s left of his sanity intact. Rowan? Rowan is that steady, grounding force—the beta equivalent of a warm blanket and a loaded weapon. And then there’s Mira.
Sweet, wide-eyed, miracle-of-a-human Mira.

This book takes the Omegaverse and drags it into darker territory—trafficking, underground fighting rings and yet somehow still leaves room for hope. It’s heavy on plot, thick with danger, and layered with enough emotional baggage to require its own shipping container. And yet, watching these characters slowly knit themselves together into something resembling safety? Chef’s kiss.
Mira is easily one of the most fascinating omegas I’ve read. She’s endured captivity, cruelty, and circumstances that would hollow out most people, but she steps into the world outside her cage with this breathtaking sense of wonder. She doesn’t feel naive so much as defiantly hopeful. She chooses to see beauty. She chooses loyalty. She chooses love. And honestly? That choice is revolutionary in a world that’s given her nothing.

Now let’s discuss the alphas.
Feral? Yes. Emotionally stable? Absolutely not. Down bad for Mira? Catastrophically.
Rage, in particular, is the standout. He’s the kind of character whose backstory makes you want to sit down and stare at a wall for a while. He’s known nothing but pain, yet with Mira he is careful. Gentle, even. Watching him claw his way back toward something like sanity because she exists is both heartbreaking and deeply satisfying. Their bond isn’t just intense—it feels earned. Ash and Griffin bring their own layers of broken intensity, but what makes this book shine is that their feral edges never eclipse their care for Mira. They make sure she knows she’s safe. That she’s wanted. That she matters. And in a world built on power imbalances, that reassurance hits hard. Rowan deserves his own standing ovation. While the alphas burn hot and chaotic, he’s the steady heartbeat of the group. He protects without smothering. Supports without demanding. If Mira needed a safe place to begin healing, Rowan built it.

While the spice is lighter than some Omegaverse stories, what’s there is deliciously intense. Emotional connection takes center stage, which makes the heat land even harder.

This book broke my heart, stitched it back together, then handed it to me wrapped in feral devotion and found-family feels. Dark, brutal, and unexpectedly tender—this one isn’t just another Omegaverse story. It’s a battle cry wrapped in a love story.

Just be mindful and check those trigger warnings.

I absolutely loved this book! It was an emotional, beautiful story of strength and survival.

Mirabelle has always been good and followed the rules at the facility where she's lived for years. When she breaks the rules to help another omega, she is immediately sold to the Mercer Family Farm in order to be a calming influence on their fighters (aka "dogs"). Upon arriving, she is put into the care of Rowan, the owner's beta younger son who is the first person to show her any kindness. Her job is to tame the three feral alphas - Griffin, Ash, and Rage. The trainers expect that the alphas could very well tear Mira apart, but they are all immediately drawn to her. Now, they all five need to work together if they want to be able to live freely.

Mira was such an awesome character! I loved the way that she was able to look at life optimistically despite the fact that it became apparent that she did not grow up in a normal environment. I also really loved that she adapted to her new circumstances and stood up to Rowan in order to interact with the alphas in the way that most closely aligned with her instincts. Rowan definitely had my heart from his first introduction. He was so sweet and gentle with Mira and I loved how his character evolved over the course of the book to become more confident and assertive. I also really loved the alphas. Griffin was the newest fighter and a complete golden retriever. Ash was reluctant to care about Mira because he saw through the goal of manipulation, but his protectiveness was so cute. Rage was a gentle giant and I loved his reactions to Mira and how their relationship progressed.

This was my first book by this author and I am completely obsessed. I know that this was book 3 and I will definitely be going back to read books 1 and 2 very soon. The story had lots of twists and turns in the plot and it was so much fun to read. The banter between the guys was hilarious and I really enjoyed how the relationships between them was portrayed so well. There were complicated feelings between them, but also a sense of comradery since they had all gone through similar things. I love the ending and how the five of them really came together as a pack and formed such a fantastic bond. It does have some darker elements so check the trigger warnings first, but I 100 percent recommend this book!

I received a free advance copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

4.5 Stars

At the beginning of this book, the author warns that this isn’t necessarily a dark romance because the MMCs are not the dark figures in this book. This book definitely delves into a darker world in an omegaverse universe. It is a world where people are bought and sold and clouds can seem like such a wonder, especially when you have never seen the sky. It’s a world where alphas are made feral on purpose so they can be treated like animals and omegas are kept in cages. It is gritty and rough and the characters in the lives of the main characters are abusive and dangerous. The MCs are brought together by some of the worst people. I loved that this was a different take on an omegaverse. It gave you a pack that went through the dark to find each other and their omega that brought them light.

The book starts with the central part of the pack, Mira, the omega. She is in a facility with no freedom whatsoever. She learned to live her life based on the rules and punishment, so much so that it completely developed her brain around these things. She has no reason to smile, yet she finds it to do it. Rowan is a beta, born into one of the worst families. He dove headfirst into the family business in order to save the omega that he was instantly felt drawn to. He is picked on and abused by his family, but he is willing to give it his all in order to keep Mira safe. Mira was bought in order to tame three feral alphas, Griffin, Ash, and Rage, that are being trained to be fighters. Griffin is a newer addition, one that Rowan has promised to attempt to train. He is not quite as feral as the others and working with a a clearer brain. Ash is absolutely influenced by his time on the farm and the drugs. He is angry and tries to push Mira away. And then there is Rage. He is by far the most feral of group, as he has been there most of his life. He has been in the life since childhood and so traumatized that he doesn’t even talk. Each character has been through immense trauma and it’s their connection to each other that pulls them back from the edge.

This book gave something different to the omegaverse world. Being someone that reads way too many omegaverses, it's so refreshing to get something new. There was definitely spice, as most omegaverses have. This is one of those books that I appreciate for it’s emotion and grit, but also for the fact that it gave something different in this genre. It is definitely one I would recommend.

Neutrals/Criticisms:
-I wish the MMCs would have gotten closer to each other/formed deeper bonds
-New characters at the very end seemed thrown in without development, they fell flat

Quotes:
-"I see her light and I'm mesmerized"
-"Yeah, shortcake, I think you're pretty. Have to be blind not to"
-"I wonder how much of the violence was because he wanted to and how much of it was because he was forced to"

I really enjoyed this book and the characters. I love Rowan's sweetness and the strength he finds in himself. Griffin was also sweet and I loved how caring and level headed he was. Ash was fiercely protective and hotheaded. Mirabelle was such a sunshine character and had an endless amount of heart. Rage's character/story was one of my favorite parts. He had the worst go of it and I loved watching him heal and find love like he deserves. This story is filled with tons of violence, so be sure to check the trigger warnings. I recommend giving this a read if you love deeply hurt characters trying to find safety and love, while trying to survive a dark place.

Honest Review (Yes, I Paid for it— and I’d Do It Again)
I picked up this book because I noticed most of the reviews mentioned receiving an ARC. So naturally I thought, “Well, someone has to be the independent citizen reviewer.” Turns out? The book absolutely did not need rescuing. It’s genuinely very good.
This is an Omegaverse, multiple-mates story centered on Mira, our FMC, who is sold after helping another omega escape the facility where she was being held. Dark? Yes. Heavy at times? Definitely. But also incredibly compelling.
I won’t list all the MMCs because there are… several (a full emotional support team, really), and discovering them is part of the fun. What I will say is that the dynamics feel layered and intentional. The plot is engaging without being chaotic, and the character development is where the story truly shines. The emotions aren’t just described—you actually feel them. The fear, the tension, the protectiveness, the connection—it all lands.
The writing is strong, immersive, and confident. Even when the themes get dark, the emotional core keeps everything grounded. It balances grit with tenderness in a way that makes the relationships feel earned rather than convenient.
So yes, I was not provided an ARC (still waiting on my imaginary influencer status), but I would absolutely recommend this book. If you enjoy darker Omegaverse with solid character work and meaningful emotional depth, this one delivers.
Consider this your officially unpaid but enthusiastic stamp of approval.

Feral for the Pack’s Omega is the third book in the Riverwell Omegaverse series a set of interconnected standalones. Remember the Omega in the facility that helped Reyna in book two? She’s got her own story! I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author for my eArc.

Tropes and themes include:
✨Why choose (mfmmm)
✨Feral alphas
✨Fated mates (but they can’t tell)
✨Sunshine but naive FMC
✨Traumatized MCs
✨Touch her and die
✨Sweet beta
✨Forced proximity
✨Pack formation
✨Multi, first person POV

Rating: 5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nickname: Sugar, Shortcakes Sweetheart

The Lovely: I loved this story for the characters and the unique plot. These are no billionaire or high profile alphas. They have to scramble to take care of their omega, relying on their love for her instead. All the main characters have had rough lives and I loved how they healed together.

Recommendation: Technically this is a re-read for me as I previously beta read this story. I loved the ending and how things turned out for the alphas especially. If you are in the mood for a darker omegaverse with feral alphas and a fight to be together, I think you would like this book.

MMC/MFC: Griffin, Ash, Rage, Rowan & MIrabelle

Tropes:
* Omegaverse
* Why choose (MMMMF)
* Alpha/Omega/Beta (AAABO)
* Dark themes
* Traumatised MMC/FMC
* Sunshine MFC
* Touch her and…
* Fated mates
* They’re sweet (but only for her)
* Slow(ish) burn

Safety:
Trafficking, attempted SA, violence, torture, drug use, addiction, traumatic pasts

This is such a brutal series, and on occasion they can be hard to read. I loved Mira - captive for so long, but still so ‘innocent’ and sweet, her reactions to the world arond her are gorgous.
Sold to an underground ring as punishment, she’s lost and confused, but a sweet beta does his best to protect her… And don’t get me started on the feral alpha’s who’ll tear her apart… they will… but in a good way. Iykwim….

I loved all of the characters, but yep… I love Rowan, but Rage…. he’s the ultimate. He’s here for Mira, and Mira alone. The bond between them is gorgeous. In fact, the world building in this with all of the characters is amazing!

This is heavy on plot, lighter on the spice, but what is there is pretty hot! Please note, there is crossover with the earlier books, so while it can be standalone, it’s best read in order.

This was an awesome addition to the series and I absolutely loved Mirabelle! She's been 'raised' in an illegal omega facility and when she helps someone escape, a gal that has mates, she gets punished. She's been sold off to a farm where things get drastically worse for her. (Please check the TWs as this one has a fair bit of darkness and abuse in it) However, she meets beta Rowan the 'good' son and he does his best to protect her from his evil brother, Jett. In her new training to be bait for feral alphas, she ends up connecting with all three of them. Her kindness and caring shine through so well and they, really, were helpless but to fall for her. Poor Rowan, also well abused, has a lot of insecurity that they all had to help him work through because he was just as important to their pack as anyone else. Loved this! With daring plans, risks and lots of determination, I was hooked, first page to last in this engaging read. The chemistry between them all was so palpable and it led to deep devotion and hot romance. I also really loved that we got time with previous characters, surprising interconnections and some plot closures from the series. So good and I can't wait for what's next by this author :D

A dramatic, angsty, hurt/comfort omegaverse is exactly what I was looking for and what I got with this one!! From the beginning I was hooked on the story and heavily invested in Mirabelle and her pack. Mira is such a ray of sunshine and I love the contrast with the pack she forms of feral alphas and a beta who has his own challenges. The character development was spot on and I'm very much obsessed with Rage!!! I love how we see this group of people who need love and to find their people come together against all the odds. The drama and emotions were high and I was eating it up!

I am rating this one closer to 4.5 starts (and then I round up) because the ending felt very rushed. Specifically the last 10% or so, it seemed like all of a sudden the story was over and there were things that just didn't feel wrapped up, explained, or scenes shown. Given how detailed and immersive the beginning and middle of the book are, it didn't match up and I wish we would have gotten a bit of a better ending (not for the characters, they get their HEA, but as a reader there were just things missing to push it to 5 stars).

If you love omegaverse, and love omegaverse with the hurt/comfort trope that borders on the darker side, definitely make sure you are picking this one up!!

I feel like I'm constantly on the hunt for another het-omegaverse that gave me the same high that I got when I first read Pack Darling. I know that every reverse harem book, particularly het-omegaverse, is far from literary masterpiece level, but I read these types of books for the angsty good time. Feral for the Pack's Omega gave me that for sure.

I absolutely loved the dynamics between all our love interests. I really enjoyed Mirabelle as a character. She was soft and sweet as an omega but she loved her alphas fiercely, and in turn, all of these feral brutes were so soft with her. Rowan being a beta and younger than the others also became a great foil to how overpowering they came across at times. Rage was my favorite though because he didn't talk, he was giant, and he could tear apart a human with his bare hands. What's not to love?

Honestly, this was just everything I was looking for in a dark het-OV. The pacing was fantastic. The smut scenes, while prevalent, didn't take over the story and kill the plot. The plot! was really tense and I loved where everything went in it. Callie Clark honestly surprised me with this installment since I didn't care too much for another book in this series.

This book was fantastic, but oh my heart, it was ripped apart and put back together again. The concept of this book was so different than other omegaverse books I have read, and at first I was hesitant but I am so glad that I read it, devoured it is more like it.

Our omega, Mirabelle, is just the sweetest thing. Even in the face of so much violence and uncertainty, she still does her best to see the good in every day and is thankful for just being alive.

Our beta, Rowan, is just what Mira needed to start to heal. Supportive, dedicated and loving. He stuck by her side no matter what came his way.

Our alphas, well they were a mess a lot of the time haha! Rage, Ash and Griffin were exactly what you would expect from a feral alpha, but they didn’t let that get in the way of how they treated Mirabelle. They made sure she knew she was safe with them and cared for.

I was so happy with the ending and was sad to see it was over. It all wrapped up well and the growth with all the character, especially Mira and Rage, was beautiful. I will definitely be reading more of this authors work!!

I thought I fell in love with book 1, obsessed with book 2... Well book 3 has me feral. I didn't think I could love another group of guys even more, but it happened. Rage absolutely has my heart in this one, but all the guys overall are amazing. This time? We even get a Beta in the mix.

The guys have a harsh background, and a story that each tug at your soul a bit more every time you find out something new. Our FMC has a story that makes you want to bundle her up and protect her just like the Alpha's around her do.

The story continues the overarching plot with the new information we got in book 2 and only feed my need more to watch every single one of the bad guys fall at the hands of the Ward and Graylock Packs. This new pack not only get a new dynamic in the mix, but it also throws an extra curveball with having feral Alpha's and my heart is with them all. By the end of the book, I was in tears and needing every ounce of good to happen for all of them! I am hoping beyond all hope that this is not the end.

This book was truly something special! Each character was traumatized and I loved how they were learning to heal not only themselves but also each other. I also loved the fact that they were fated mates and none of them knew, the guys just immediately knew Mira was theirs and she knew they were hers.
I truly loved all the characters. Mira with her sweet innocence and desperate desire to please and care for her mates. Griffin with his fierce protectiveness and fun loving banter. Ash with his devout possessiveness and grumpiness that only Mira breaks through. Sweet Rowan, with his gentle soul, lack of confidence and complete devotion. But Rage, with his total teddy bear for Mira personality and desperate need to be loved despite his wounded psyche, truly became my favorite.
I could've happily continued reading about this pack, I was honestly so sad when it ended. This is truly a must read Omegaverse that will steal your heart!

Book 3 of the Riverwell Omegaverse series, where we have captive omega Mirabelle, who helped Reyna while she was held captive in her book, being sold to the Mercer Farm to control their feral alphas used for fighting rings. Mirabelle is protected by the owners son, Rowan, as well as all 3 of the feral alphas - Rage, Ash and Griffin. This one was a harder read with what all 5 of the future pack deal with before they're able to bond, but it wrapped up what happened following the events of Luna and Reyna's books. This one had a lot more spice than the previous books, but not so much that it takes away from the story. I do wish we'd have gotten a tiny bit more of Reyna and her pack, as well as a little bit of Luna and her pack as well.
Story is FMMMM, with some darker themes and so definitely check your triggers on this one.

I received an ARC. This is my voluntary, honest review. This book was the first I’ve read by this author. I highly recommend this story. I was immediately sucked into the world and captivated by the characters and their journey. Feral for the Pack’s Omega follows five individuals on a powerful journey of self-discovery as they overcome severe abuse and torture, fighting together for a brighter future. Through their struggles, they forge a deep bond, escape their torment, and create a found family built on love and resilience. Mirabelle is kind-hearted and resilient, often underestimating her own strength. Rowan discovers his courage as he stands up for those he loves. Griffin remains calm and composed, demonstrating remarkable self-control despite immense hardships. Ash, though quiet and calculating, is plagued by deep-seated paranoia. Rage embodies affection and care, all beneath a formidable exterior of strength and willpower.

I don't have much experience with the omegaverse (in fact, this is the first book I've read), but I have to admit that I liked it!

Let's start with the assumption that the writing flows well; I didn't find any imbalance between dialogue and description. The language is modern, simple, and immediate, which is appropriate for this type of story.

The plot is simple and linear, there are no particular twists or subplots, but it is well executed.

The characters all have their own voice and are easily distinguishable, whether their name is mentioned or not, which is not easy at all (especially with Rage), so kudos to the writer!
I found Mira a little... annoying at times and some of the dialogue a little too sappy for my taste, but that's just personal preference.

An excellent start to this genre, so much so that I think I'll read the previous books too!

A special thank you to the author for the ARC 💚

This is the 3rd book in the Riverwell Omegaverse series, and focuses around Mirabelle, who was introduced in book two.

Mira is a really interesting character. Never failing to see the good in things, and living with wide-eyed wonder as she finally gets to live outside the facility she was captive in. I love her unfailing loyalty and positivity, even in a world that has never treated her well.

Now, let's talk about the alphas. I'm as feral for them as they are for Mira. Each one is broken in his own way, and it's just heart-wrenching. I think I have to say Rage is my favourite. His backstory is tragic, and despite knowing nothing but pain most of his life, he's so gentle with Mira. And she's the reason he makes his way back to sanity, which sounds weird but was so fantastic to read.

The world building and character development in this book are just as good as the first two. The world of the south vs north, alphas and omegas, trafficking and underground fighting is dark, gritty and dangerous. But it all encompasses events that began in book one, so even though these books are standalones, I recommend reading them in order to have the full background story.

I can't recommend this series enough. As with the first two, this is a slow burn and focuses on plot over smut, but of course there's some very hot scenes in each book. I can honestly say this series has made me a huge fan of Callie Clark!

I liked it but it was missing the tension. Mira is sold by a facility to this family that also owns alphas they use as fighters. All are treated as less than human. This obviously has caused massive trauma especially to the alphas who have been there so long.
Mira's naivety makes sense due to her upbringing and she's so sweet against the harshness of her surroundings. The way she helps Rowan and the alphas is wonderful. They are all broken in their own ways.
The story was very straightforward, no real twists in the plot. I enjoyed it and may do a reread as I'm not 100% sure what I think. I liked Mira and Rage was my favorite. Griffin and his relationship with Rowan was great to see too (no mm). Even Ash grew a bit as a character. I think if the last half of the book could have had more tension of wondering if they were going to be safe or not, along with more if the healing conversations that would have made it better.

Feral for the Pack’s Omega is a high-heat reverse harem omegaverse romance that fully commits to intensity, devotion, and pack dynamics. Callie Clark delivers a fast-paced, emotionally charged story where the bond between the omega and her pack feels powerful, protective, and deeply consuming.

Each member of the pack brings a distinct presence, making the relationships feel intentional and layered rather than rushed. The chemistry is explosive, the feral energy is strong, and the emotional pull keeps the story moving right alongside the heat. The pacing is excellent for this genre, making it easy to binge and hard to put down.

I’d highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy omegaverse romance, reverse harem dynamics, and fiercely protective pack bonds. If you like your romance intense, possessive, and packed with passion, this one absolutely delivers.
