Minotaurs, Magic, and Marriage
Dani is a human woman with.very unstable magical power. She finds herself in WayHome agreeing to a trial period with a kind and stable Minotaur nicknamed Darlin' only to find herself actually wed to his twin brother Milo! Milo crashed the process to protect Dani from being treated like a trade good instead of a person with her own voice and to make sure Dani isn't taken in by pretty contract words that will strip away her free will. Everyone is mad at Milo and frustrated with Dani for not just going along. What a mess!
Despite all the internal and external stress, Dani and Milo keep finding their way back to each other. The plot is ingenious, the dialogue is rich with feelings and facts, and the story never flags. The HEA is well deserved and you can't help cheering our couple on.
Loved this story. Tense, humorous, and romantic sometimes all at the same time. This is a story I will keep in my favorites rotation and I highly recommend both the book and the series.

Who’d have thought a male cow could be so sexy
When an abused woman meets a passionate human rights crusader, who just happens to be a Minotaur, an amazing story ensues. As usual, Bree’s character development is and engrossing. This book kept me up reading way too late, and although it is nicely completed, it is still a cliffhanger in that it leaves me yearning for more! This particular world is getting more and more complicated and of course, realistic. Plus now I really wanna know what happened to the other twin.

Fun new author
I was presently surprised by this story. New author to me & I will now read the rest of the series & hope it doesn't do repeat storyline with new faces. New interesting take on greed, intentional misrepresentation of "comfort." Thought provoking while showing the reader how words can sound sweet but mean a totally different thing. Like entrapment.
